I thank Allah every day that He invited me to Islam. I reverted back in 1995 when I was 21, but I wanted to learn more before doing dawah with my parents. Subhanallah, they both died before I did it. They died suddenly, just six weeks apart, aged 47 and 51. I wish I’d talked to them more about our deen. They were good, kind people who supported my decision to accept Islam and I leave them in Allah’s Mercy.
Brothers and sisters, if there is someone you love who isn’t Muslim, don’t delay. Talk to them about Islam today. Don’t be like me and leave it until it’s too late. I pray that all the good people find their way to Islam and to the love and mercy of Allah SWT. Ameen.

@@suntzushoesJazakallah for your kind words. They brought tears to my eyes. It’s been 25 years since my parents passed and I still miss them every single day. But I know, in this pain, that there is wisdom and lessons. Allah SWT is the best of planners and although I have been through many, many trials over the years, I always say Alhumdullilah. I know that there is goodness in every one of them as they strengthen my Imaan and bring me closer to my Rabb.

I believe that many people are practising Islam, even without knowing it. Yes, Muslims practice it in the best way, but many people who don't call themselves Muslim practice Islam also. They believe in one God and perform righteous deeds instead of wrongful ones. Allah knows us best, so He will judge according. No-one will be wronged.

bare minimum to enter Jannah is you don't commit shirk. By the permission of Allah, prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will give you intercesion with this bare minimum.

Salam. I think the definition of good and bad has changed completely. Allah is the creator and It is HIS responsibility to tell us, what is good in HIS eyes and what is bad in HIS eyes. Which HE clearly did. Allah, THE ALL MIGHTY as a creator deserves to be praised and worshiped. Not believing in the creator is very bad. Rest of the good things comes after that. This is the biggest problem, when it comes to answer such questions. We human beings tries to take care of everyone's right, but forget the right of the one who has created everything. Brother to be fair the footage played along the line : "who ever choose a religion other than Islam, they will be amongst the losers" something like that and it was written too. So the editor did a perfect job. It is you who mistook it but ever human does mistakes so no big deal .
the point of that edit with the caption with it is speaking about people who worship gods other than Allah, it's showing an example of idolatry, saying it's contradictory to Muslims submitting to Allah alone
@GREEN-sj7pz like I said, if any NON-MUSLIM sees it. I understood the footage perfectly because I am a Muslim. The animation shows a guy with a beard and a turban bowing to the statue of Baal, which is from an animated movie that I believe only Muslims have watched it. People associate beard and turban with us Muslims only, and most people, non-Muslims, do not attribute such getup with older jahilia Arabs of that time.
So, just to be on the safe side, it is better to choose a different type of footage because, again, non-Muslims watch these types of videos. There is already a misconception amongst the non-Muslims that we Muslims worship the Kaa'ba and a rock because of the propaganda by Christian and other missionaries and hate groups. It's better to be on the safe side and not add to their misconception and confuse them further, which may stop them from further research. That was my point with my comment. Salaam.

We don’t take the Quran in parts but as a whole.
Their are verses stating clearly the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam
The verse reference’s the followers of those faith in its uncorrupted form
This verse applies for only those who came before islam. I can argue this to be the case because in the quran it similarly states that anyone who seeks a religion other than islam, never will it be accepted of him and he will be among the losers in the hereafter.
Thank you for sharing that verse. Some other accepted translations from scholars translate the word "Allah" as "God" because in the context of the times and location the word "Allah" meant "God" which helps make the rest of the verse have sense, that even our brothers of other Abrahamic faiths, believers in God who do good will have their reward and don't need to fear.

And for them is a great punishment. “ the ones that Allah has sealed their hearts, they don’t know their hearts are sealed so they continue in their transgressions. Make Dua that Allah grants you closeness to Himself but YOU have to make that first step towards Him, as insignificant as it may seem to you. It’s magnified in the eyes of Allah. We will always make Dua for our brothers and sisters, but YOU also help us in getting that Dua answered by moving towards Him Wa ta Ala. May Allah guide us to Himself in this Dunya before an inevitable day in which we are taken to account for the deeds/misdeeds we have committed. Remember Death often, remember the day of standing, remember your purpose - that’s what’s helped me. May Allah guide us all.

This verse applies to those who came before islam, that is before the prophet muhammad. If you clearly heard of islam, that is you heard the prophet muhammad SWT message about God which is to accept that there is none worthy of worship except Allah (Arabic term for God) and the prophet muhammad SWT is his messenger, but still reject then you will go to hell.

Here are some ways to earn deeds after death:
1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain.
2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain.
3) Participate in building a masjid.
4) Place a watercooler in a public space.
5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in it's shade or eats from it.
6) And the easiest of all, share this message with people.

If you are a 'good person' to others but behind closed doors your bad to your family that doesn't really make you a good person. Likewise, if your only good to others yet dont acknowledge your creator and fulfil the purpose of your creation despite having the knowledge of it then that is the worst of bad. The only way we can have objective morality is if its literally given by our creator which alhamdulilah we have through the religion of Islam.

God promised Hagar that Ishmael, as a son of Abraham, would become a great nation (Genesis 21:17-18). That came about in this way: Hagar, who was Egyptian herself, found a wife from Egypt for her son, and Ishmael settled in the desert of Paran (Genesis 21:21). Ishmael’s descendants “settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the border of Egypt as you go toward Ashur” (Genesis 25:18). The Bible lists Ishmael’s sons as Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah (verses 13-15).
Ishmael is identified as the father of the Arabs, an ancestor of Prophet Muhammad, and his half-brother Isaac is the ancestor of both Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus.
Listen. Imagine this. What if it’s your life purpose to be the one in your family that guides your whole family to the truth? Can you imagine the reward if you revert and bring your family with you?

Scary thing to think about. I’ve thought about it before. But. Allah doesn’t break his promise. And what did he promise the believers? Paradise. Simple. I am a Christian,i have insulted islam but now after reading,i respect islam and love muslims.I remind my muslim friend about the Quran but as a Christian.I couldn't leave my religion due to loyalty but I respect islam and the prophet and will read the Quran soon.
The Jews say, none will enter heaven except us. And the Christians say, none will enter Paradise except those who belong to our religion... And did not God say in his book, to such people, to come forth with their proof if what they say is true?
Islam should not be joining the ranks of the exclusive religionists. Because this is saying things about God that we know not and we only conjecture.

Are any of the people mentioned above Muslims? No they are not. Yet they are promised their reward. Know what is in God's book and understand it before we start giving soliloquies about religion!
Furthermore, if Allah makes the exception to let those into paradise who did not hear of the Prophet or who have a misunderstanding of the Prophet and Islam, then the exception is likely to become the rule. Because most people on planet Earth right now have a complete misunderstanding and misrepresentation of Islam. That is slowly changing, but most are in ignorance. And this ignorance is perpetuated by the propaganda machine that speaks loudly all across the earth at this time.
Not to mention the fact there are so many people who suffer from emotional or psychological disorders these days. And those who have turned their back on God because of religious abuse and trauma at the hands of charlatans in the guise of clergyman and spiritual leaders. Allah knows best about all of this, we do not. We should not judge or exclude!
Do not be like those Jews and Christians mentioned in God's book that say none will enter Paradise except us! This is nothing but clear conjecture!
But the Quran does say whoever does not follow Islam will not enter paradise. So, your reasoning is a bit twisted. I suggest you take some time and learn about Islam more rather than trying to lecture about a subject you seem to know very little about.

85. Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
86. How will God guide a people who disbelieved after having believed, and had witnessed that the Messenger is true, and the clear proofs had come to them? God does not guide the unjust people.
Know your subject and understand what is written in the book. These verses in surah 3 are speaking of those individuals who fled Mecca and migrated to where the Prophet and the believers were staying. But then later they became full of fear that the pagan armies might destroy the Muslims and some of them regretted leaving their homes and families in Mecca behind. And so they denounced Islam and the Prophet and returned to the pagan community. They are those who believed and then disbelieved and chose other than Islam after they witnessed the truth. Read the whole surah and take it in context. And perhaps read some commentary on the history of the surah and the meaning of its verses.
Therefore I am not taking the verse out of context, we have to understand it in the entirety of its setting with the verses around it and to whom it is referring and why.

to put people off, especially when seeing the religion grow. 3. Following the first point, the exception likely won’t become the rule considering the ratio of true religious to non religious people from the beginning of time up till now.
You don’t know what people’s understanding of Islam is, one person can literally be convinced of Islam by literally hearing the Quran in the radio but they choose to ignore it, only Allah will know on the day of judgement.
