- This is one super cool piece of RC equipment. Truly made of metal, and weighing in at a really nice weight. Keep in mind that this is not a hydraulic model, however I have seen conversion kits for this model.
The excavator is the same brand as the Huina 1583 loader I unboxed a few months ago. However, this rig has much more metal, and is far more complex. There is a little bit of play in the swivel of the unit, which I am currently investigating as it seems like it skips every now and then. The machine is beautiful and ready for dirt! I personally think this is a GREAT ALTERNATIVE to the hydro ones, I may have to get one until I save enough for an RC4WD one.

Hi! Does this V4 version have proportional movement for the wheels/tracks, or is it just all-or-nothing? I can’t find this information anywhere. Thanks! :)
I think that Jack hammer attachment might work the slightest if not at all if you were to take it apart and or just sharpen the striker with a grinding wheel.
I have used it and it actually does work. I can’t break hard stone, but it does break up hard dirt, which can then be easily picked up with the bucket. Sharpening it is a good idea. Thanks for watching.
@@TheRCGenius I saw other styles of rc rock hammers and the had a pointed sharp striker. I just got into the rc equipment realm.

also them controls on the joysticks is the same as an irl digger ive been on and off driving diggers since i was 6 and they are the same movements different layout of controllers cause obviously its on a controller.

You can put hydraulic too this machine easly.
Why are you reviewing this with no smoke oil and not a charged battery ???
Are you satisfied with this excavator, can it dig soil, can it work in hard soil, is it fun?
It is definitely fun. The strength of the excavator is surprising. It can dig dirt easily, but it can’t dig really hard dirt well. That’s not to say that it can’t, it’s just much harder, and will take more time. I think it was worth the money.
Can you have the lights without the engine sounds?
