    Fun fact. Bobcat now makes electric full size skidsteers. They had to detune the electric actuators cause they were so fast n had so much power it was tearing the skidder apart.

      @@SuzukiKQ700owner Plenty of industrial equipment has been electric for a long time now, batteries are just making it a more portable option. Not sure how that's unfortunate. The poor build quality and engineered obsolescence is unfortunate but that's happening with everything.

    Excellent review of the Double Eagle R/C model Volvo hydraulic & electric excavators!
    The review showed the basics of how both excavator's perform, & how well they compare in performance.
    Both R/C excavators are realistically detailed (& appear to be accurately scaled), with full excavating & travelling functionality, as well features such as opening cab door & opening house door panels (I believe).
    I would very much like to have a large scale R/C model excavator, & I intend to get one sometime.
    Reviews such as this one are very helpful for me to learn more & better decide which R/C model excavator to buy, when I decide to buy one of them.

      @KikoFJGS 19 днів тому +1

      That’s controllable…

    • @ats-3693
      @ats-3693 19 днів тому

      @KikoFJGS Oh that's cool, yeah I think it definitely needs slowing down a bit from what is shown in the video, to give it more of a realistic heavy machinery look with its movement, in the video it kind of looks like video of an excavator working that has been sped up, the electric one seemed to have more of a realistic speed to it when digging.

    • @braxtonmarshall1883
      @braxtonmarshall1883 19 днів тому

      @ats-3693 you can operate a full size excavator that fast, its just not good to be going so fast, can be dangerous and can break something, but they definitely can

    • @ats-3693
      @ats-3693 19 днів тому

      @braxtonmarshall1883 Yeah I know you can operate an excavator fast but the fast abrupt changing of direction puts heaps of strain on pivot pins, bearings and hydraulics etc. I think the way it looks moving in the video is maybe also related to the scaling of it's size and the scaling of it's speed, for nice realism the speed needs to be scaled down a bit to match the size scaling, I've noticed it before looking at videos of RC model heavy machinery working, they often seem a bit fast and it makes them look light and toyish, slowing it all down a bit gives it more of a realistic "heavy" look to it.

    • @shadovanish7435
      @shadovanish7435 День тому

      The speed of the R/C model excavator's operation can be controlled by simply pushing the R/C transmitter's control lever a small amount (the R/C function's speed or distance travelled is proportional to the amount the transmitter's control lever is moved), so the farther the control lever is pushed, the faster the R/C excavator will operate (or the farther an R/C actuator will travel, depending on which function the transmitter is controlling).
      So, a more realistic ("scale") speed for the R/C model excavator should be easy to achieve.

Really they should be cheaper due to the crap inside it your eventually going to have to re do.

    Are either of them limited in simultaneous boom / arm and bucket functions, meaning does it handle operations the same as a real excavator, with the ability to raise the boom while pulling the arm and curling the bucket?
    I purchased a similar model as a gift once and found it limited to two simultaneous functions. That was quite a let down.

Videos with no one speaking gets the most views. That's why my short videos are so popular. Videos are viewed worldwide but only a few people speak the English language. That's why some short videos get a lot views and some long form videos don't. Been doing this for 7 years now. This didn't happen overnight. Hope that helps you understand how it works
