@Tarif Burki It's a bloody truth that the Pak Army under Gen. Musharaf was serving the interests of the USA while trying to preserve the national security of Pakistan. FATA is a part of Pakistan and has been made an integral part of KPK. If you study history, you will know that the population of the border areas has to pay the cost of the war. It's irrespective of any nation. So, FATA being a border area is no exception to it. Remember war in FATA was not the war against Pashtuns but the war against the so-called defined anti-state elements. The superpower the USA has also a bitter history of a bloody civil war. Many sting operations have been launched in Punjab also against the Punjabi Taleban. But we can't designate these operations against Punjabis. Lal Masjid is also an example from Punjab. So, please hold and be patient. Don't be the voice of the enemy while lamenting the sorrows of the civil war.
