My late grandfather was a doctor in Hoti Mardan before partition. He used to tell us how, during a peaceful protest, the British used to brutally beat surkh posh. Pathans did not fight back. British police used to throw them after beating in the river. My grandfather being a doctor used to do their maraham pati. He said he never charged them, as they were true followers of Badsha Khan Sahib....true kudhai kidhmadgar. ❤️ from India 🇮🇳
