That baby in bear incident should be named bear grylls
The trees that are around farms fields are called windbreaks, and it's very much on purpose. It helps slow wind speeds down in the field, which is very helpful for crops that don't handle wind well. It can also be just to look nice or provide shade, but they are intentional.

Such a preposterous series so far without Pravus yelling and cursing his villagers for acting stupid (or otherwise acts just exactly what Pravus told them to).

The arborist can plant fruit trees and can be culled for wood.
Build temporary shelters next to worker camps, hunter hut, and the gatherer shack so that they don't have to travel as far to and from work. May also be a good idea to build wagon workshops near them too as they will transport the goods from the resource buildings to your storages.
Hunter hut and gatherer shack can contain living accomodation already (we can see that their worker bring food and firewood), no need for a shelter. Places like work camp and mines however do not carry an inventory, so those will need shelters.

Crop rotation mechanics is so far my favorite thing about this game. I'd like to see you explore it more.

Oh boy, when the devs learn about all the nutrients except nitrogen, which he already knows, and soil acidic levels and several other micros, this is going to be good.
He put his well right next to the industrial waste causing buildings causing people to get sick. Just like in Cities: Skylines!
