You know there's plenty of old film that is just as crispy and from the 60s 70s the crazy part is that most movies since the 40s were shot with high-definition but we didn't have the technology publicly available until the late 2000s. Modern AI filters really bring out what was hiding there the whole time . Okay I feel old nice talking to you
i could say this on every video, but thanks so much for releasing ALL of these, us die hard fans live for stuff like this. I remember back in 2021 thinking about how all these amazing videos exist but we (fans) would probably never see. sept 2024 & our dreams came true thanks to you & walpknot, sipes, felipe, tlegzic, & everybody else that has, & continue to upload over the past 15 years
8:00 Joey wearing the mask is something I'd sell my mother's car to see back then. That's the guy that changed my life in the drumming world. What a legend...
(Just don't mind me please) Time stamps for myself for my favorite parts; 8:56 (and rest of it) 10:17 (and the first question) 14:31 (i liked his body language and the talk :3) 16:00 17:43 18:04 ("explanation of flip for a punch") 18:20 (J: you guys got a quarter? S: they dont got quarters in here man. J: well whatever a penny) 18:28 (demonstration of "flip for a punch". I loved every second of it) 20:59 ( \m/) 21:04 (you've already been deaf he just accented it for you, quit worrying about it) 24:37
Joey was an absolute Leader in this band and could have been the Spokesperson for the entire band. Yet some unknown circumstance happened..we all know what it was
This video was likely shot on a “Digital Betacam” camera using either the “Betacam SX” format (introduced in 1996, more likely) or the “MPEG IMX” format (introduced in 2000, less likely shot on this but probably digitised to this) Uncompressed SX has a bitrate of 180Mbps (18Mbps compressed) and IMX is compressed with a bitrate of 50Mbps. Very high quality formats for the time and the master tapes always look fantastic! Feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong :)
This is just plain epic documented history thanks so much for putting this & so many best videos in the world of slipknot on the UA-cams we can’t thank u enough
welcome back! thank you for this video, ive always wondered what micks 1999 rig was, for the tours and this video gives a good shot of it! thank you so much :D
Amazing… I was there!! Astoria was the shit during the 90’s / 2000’s! I remember me and my mates necking a bottle of JD in the que at the side of the Astoria, the hype was crazy from the fans for this gig… Amazing days 🤘🏻
Seeing a single kick drum reminds me of seeing them in Melbourne Australia in 1999. Damn that was one hell of a show and I believe their next Aus show was at a big day out festival in 03. Where they played to around 35,000 before their headline sideshow where they played to 2-3k.
Corey channeling his inner mankind from WWF. Cutting a promo. Knowing he’s a wrestling fan . It makes sense. What’s interesting is what he’s doing with his hands…
Yea...but in that time it wasn't common infact rare for fender to create a "fender" that has one pickup plus make it for metal.. I mean yea sure there some metal guitarist who use a fender like strat for metal but for Jim's case i still consider this as rare
Do you reckon you're the antidote [corey], - "well i find anger is something very bottled up and not talked about, and just bottles up, people take drugs to release that bottled up crap but it won't go away, letting your voice and anger out in a safe and controlled, sympathetic manner is helpful, maybe not the antidote, like we never buried little girls alive in forests, but we sing about it, coz they can't talk about it.......... " Craig is silent
Proof that Joey was always the leader of the band.
But no founding member, said Clown
@@paulpv7uhhh what? Joey, Shawn, Paul, and Craig were all there to make the first record. So by this video, all 4 of them were original members.
Agreed.
@@paulpv7 he and paul were the founding members of this lol
until Corey and Clown took over
Interviewer: We interviewed Marilyn Manson a few weeks ago-
Corey: Sorry to hear that.
bruhhhhhh 😂

@@Astronomy1337 also Corey: "Antichrist Superstar is one of mi top favorite albums"
This look insanely good, looks like modern footage

mick just pacing around during the interview clearly bored out of his mind had me laughing
16:51 I felt Sid looking into my soul 💀💀
#1 FOREVER!
25 years later: 2 are dead and 2 are missing. I think we all predicted a much higher fatality rate from the insanity.
