Worth The Money? | DCS Kola Map history & Overview

The Kola map that was recently added to DCS World is one of NATOs key training grounds for aircraft and ground forces. The DCS Kola map depicts northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. This gives us great new mission possibilities with road bases and the first green terrain since DCS Caucasus. In this video i go over the key details of the map and also some of the history of the region, as well as share some of my thoughts. Hope you enjoy!

If you like games like War Thunder, MSFS and xPlane consider checking out DCS World by Eagle Dynamics. It is a flight simulator where you can simulate combat scenarios with very detailed and realistic aircraft like the F-16C, F-14, A-4E, MiG-29, Su-27, AV-8B Harrier and others. With dogfights and BVR combat you can see aviation from a different point of view.

I think the comment about price changing was more about if they expanded the peninsula south, although i could be wrong

Quite possible, that comment wasn't clear enough. Expansion would have to be planed years down the road because they have a lot to finish already for this huge map.

Wasn't Jokkmokk the major roadbase in Sweden? That's already available, they just forgot the markers and spawn points, but you can easily add "Start from ground" spawns, already. 😉

OrbX didn’t include it as an active airbase on release. That’s why I didn’t mention it

For the current amount of features, I agree. For the finished map, might be reasonable
