Literally making Warlord Titan Arioch Power Claw out of nothing. It is big. Not a 7 foot titan, but still large. Warhammer 40k Warlord Titan scratch build update and very real video tutorial. This Power Claw which seems large, is not as big as the Imperator titan's head. (custom, even larger warhammer model by Eric's Hobby Workshop. What would happen if/when? they cross paths!?). Also, how I "lost" the $4000 Warlord Titan diorama (again) but ended up finding a $1 claw. Wow.. Charity titan diorama with only one titan in it. Wētā Workshop has started to ask me for advice. I'm considering it.
Miniwargaming adjacent. Dave took the Prime Ork that one time, but we got him back.

The best part was when he said 'It's scratchin' time' and he bashed all over this titan.
🤝
🤝
🤝
🤝
🤝
I feel like there needs to be Hazard Stripes in the colourscheme, that way if it steps on a guardsman it's their fault.
🤝
🤝
🤝
🤝
🤝
Even though its barely half-way done, this is already the greatest scratch-bashed thing ever!
Titan when?
Man….wow. Nice work.
🤝 Just shaking hands. Nothing to see here.
🤝
🤝
it boggles my brain how someone can see a bunch of old pieces of scrap and envision how they would become part of a warlord titan. very impressive.
Those are some highly attractive studs
🤝
🤝
🤝
Every time one of these comes out, I inevitably end up watching the entire series again

3:02 I wouldn’t expect nightshift’s cast armor texturing to work that well on a 40k model but it does somehow
Works well on all armour. Tbh you can use real life armour models with some modifications as proxies for guard tanks, especially DKoK
🤝
Nightshift is exactly who I thought of as soon as this technique was used 😃

5:30 you made me go back and rewatch the add. Good job and well deserved.
🤝
Weak-minded simpleton.
Same. I felt guilty. Good job
🤣👍💅
He got me to lmao 🤝
I guess I have to “titan when?”
Titan when?
It is incredible how you can do things like this from scrap! I am a graphic designer, and paint in free time but your imagination amazes me. Super cool stuff, cheers!
🤝
🤝
🤝
At this point, just have Night Shift crash at your house for a month and make the most weathered, beat up looking Titan possible.
At that size, he'd probably get ALL the enemy fire concentrated at him, is what I think.
Oh and have it be a more grounded colour scheme that doesn't violate your eyes (optional).
🤝
🤝
@1:45 it’s the top half of a Cobra mini missile turret. Was an accessory for one of the Cobra troopers with the old 90s GI Joes but mines black so the red one might be a rerelease
🤝
Missing you...
shaking hands with you
🤝
Pretty badass. Love how you see possibility in random pieces.
Your ability to see large form in a multitude of “trash” is remarkable. Your work is superb.
That red plastic piece is the top portion of a 1986 Scrap Iron missile launcher accessory from GI Joe: A Real American Hero. The original was black. The red version was a replacement sold a couple of years later in an accessory pack.
We're going to need one of those "Part of Our Heritage" banners for the Titan once it's done.
🤝
Him, the House Hippo, smelling burnt toast, and Rob Ford smoking crack and doing freestyle raps.

@@jonesfigures *GRAVY TRAIN*
The red piece with vents is part of a classic G.I. Joe Televiper Missile Launcher as sold in one of the weapon accessory packs that came in red instead of black.
Those Mega Construx blox become Warhammer parts pretty impressively. From the thumbnail I wasn't even able to tell that this wasn't 3d printed.
🤝
🤝
the time it takes really feels like the time it takes to build one in 40k vers
I rewatched the ad after it was skipped automatically, gotta say, the amount of shark puns wasn't monstrously jaw-droppingly ridiculous.
Which wasn't fin-tastic, cause I came for them in the first place, could have come up with some-fin more jaws-ome, I'm sure viewers who caught the bait wouldn't think that the joke was wearing fin.
4/5, would like to sink my teeth into some more shark puns

I was super excited seeing this was 4 months old, thinking I could now jump to a much newer video to see how it's coming along... 😂
Gotcha!!
LESS GO TITAN also quick question is it a chaos titan or a imperial titan
With how much bigger it is than a regular warlord and the unique look im imagining it as a dark age of technology titan
"My Friends!"
I know brother, I know...
🤝
3:01 "MUH FRIENDS" Nightshift would be proud
We need you.
When are you gonna reveal the plan to actually have it looted by orks? 👀
💛
Excellent assembly. The bit at 1:45 is the top canopy from a GI Joe: Real American Hero missile launcher from 1986. Perfect fit.
🤝
3:00 love the nightshift reference my friend
🤝
In old versions of 40k, GW actually gave instructions on how to make a land-speeder from a deodorant bottle. I can even remember how they advised players to hand-make terrain for games to save money. Wild times.
I love this content and its always great rewatching it. I made my own ork a while ago but ended up stopping when I reached the arms, might return to it when I'm home for the summer. Take however long is needed with this project and i hope you're doing well.
Addendum: If you've already spent a lot of money, and have a lot of stuff lying around, you only need to spend a dollar more.
I love the more cataphracti look for the power claw. The titans are all so unique since they are so old, so having a different look to the same weapon is just perfect.
🤝
Claw-y hand was definitely the right choice, much more menacing look than the stumpy grabber-fist!
🤝
Man your stuff is so good it blows my mind every time
I always had a special kind of respect for people like you who can do this and it looks good.
First video I’ve seen from you straight after a studson studio vid, my two favourite hobbies have merged!
I’m more excited to see this titan built than I am about my new holiday box.

This is a whole new level of scratch building, I commend you sir.
And I thought my scratch built warship for Warhammer manowar made out of a planting foam block cut to shape, covered in those little sticks used to stir tea with a dowel as the mast and sails made out of old bed sheets painted with fabric paint was ingenious. Even made the rigging out of hairy string and made that bit that sticks out the front out of a chopstick. It did turn out to be an expensive build as I used a pair of empire cannon kits to give the cannons, at least I could still make a pair of mortars for my empire army out of the kit.
Making old fashioned wooden warships is a good beginners scratch building project, I made my first ship when I was 14, made another at 21.
Watching this video has made me wanna make another. I've not scratch built anything in ages, it's a load of fun.
🤝
This is the coolest series I've been following. I'm so so so hyped to see it complete, but wven just hella excited to see which part you decide to make next. I always end up watching the whole thing over again everytime theres a new one! 🤝 Great work
🤝
🤝
🤝
🤝
The transformers windshield from 2:12 is from the Toys 'R' Us exclusive Revenge of the Fallen Bumblebee, released in 2011. Neat!
thats awesome, the creativity to go from random junk to that detailed mini it amazing!
🤝 what’s your favorite pasta dish?
The red casing you used for the mega bolter looks like the missile luncher for Scrap-Iron (G. I. Joe).
Dang, that action figure set looks really cool!
I concur, probably from the 1986 "Cobra Battle Gear" set as I think that's where the red version came from.
Can confirm! Good eyes, lads 🤘
🤝
🤝
1:48 this bit looks like some toy company really liked the armor covering of the twin-link weapons on a Razorback.
🤝
totally!
It's actually a portable missile laucher from 1986 GI Joe toy
Oh god it's physical kit-bashing, i thought it was gonna be different free 3d models mashed together and then resin-printed. This is seriously impressive
This series is so masterful! Love when a new video comes out.
🤝
🤝
🤝
bro the night shift reference made me lose my mind
I feel like we're just going to wake up one day with scratch bashing as our new giant robot overlord
🤝
🤝
This is how big the Warlord Titan model should be. The Imperator model should be as big as Eric's-Workshop kitbash is, 7 feet tall.
always love seeing another video from yourself, titan or otherwise
🤝
It's gonna be really cool seeing how you plan to make the torso, arms, neck, and any shoulder weapons you might want
🤝
God emperor that power claw is majestic!
🤝
This has easily got to be the most creative and interesting custom model creation I've ever seen, very interesting and impressive. Definitely will have to try out some of this line of thinking in the future.
🤝

BADASS claw-y hand. Love it!!!
Love the little nod to Nightshift!
Me too
I love rewatching the series every time you put out a new video

There is 2 things on youtube i wait for with more excitement than anything. The marble machine 3 by wintergatan, and your scratch built titan! Every new vid is such a treat, thanks for your hard work man!
🤝
🤝
3:01 Nice nod to nightshift!
That mystery bit at about 2 minutes is part of a remake GIjoe "Scrap iron" missile launcher. The original was black plastic...that's an "action pack" remake
🤝
You can get adhesion on slick plastics without sanding. Just use a thin application of acetone. You’ll be able to paint and glue to your heart’s content.
The red vented piece is from a 80s G I Joe toy. A Cobra anti tank trooper or specialist.
Great to see another part of this come together
🤝
Uncle Nightshift is proud.
A Nightshift reference! A suprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
🤝
youre insane. props to you battle brother
You give hope to every little piece of plastic out there to maybe one day become a part of something glorious.
🤝
super cool, love scratch builds!!!
Objectively, your scratch built titan is better than anything from ForgeWorld. I don't see any overpriced warped resin with missing parts anywhere.
🤝
I did skip the ad, but between the call-out and my love for stupid puns, I went back and watched it anyway!
Also, love your work - it inspires me!
Edit: Consider this my handshake. It is slightly disappointed, because you didn't add enough shark-puns in the ad. But grateful none the less.
@@sebastianrubin7476 more puns in next titan video
I’ve said this a few months ago, but you’ve got me into warhammer, I’ve gotten much better than I was a few months ago, I wish I could post my models somewhere as appreciation for your inspiration

This is absolute madness.
This is so impressive
That red part with the vents is a gi joe figure weapon part. Scap irons missle launcher top. Made an awesome wrist Bolter thing.
🤝
The torso of this thing is going to be insane
Thumbs up for the uncle Night Shift reference.
This thing is gonna need a better name than giga warlord Titan
Bro this is actually sick.
Your jokes and humor is absolutely hilarious.
PLEASE keep that going!!!😂😂😂

That Night Shift reference!
I think dark green with silver accents could look pretty cool.
Amazing. The thumb is mounted maybe a little low, but the overall effect is so cool.
