They are destroying the rides which might be the primary reason to come to the park. Between Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Splash Mountain we're talking about cornerstones of the park which are being constantly changed and "modern dayed" for the worse. These three rides are the reason I go to the parks and Splash Mountain is gone, Pirates makes me roll my eyes and Haunted Mansion being desecrated will finally be the nail in the coffin that makes me put off Disney parks forever.
People don't want to go to Disney World because of the outdated insensitive imagery and lack of representation of marginalized groups. /s

Disney needs to send their DEI team to epcot to bring the American Adventure show up to date. Have the DEI imagineers transform the current animatronic presidents into transgender wimmin presidents and use dark colored makeup to transform at least 13% of them into African American animatronics.

It’s sad the WDW that hooked our family, is gone! Our annual WDW vacations are no longer in our plans, looking forward to Epic Universe to spend my money on. 2025 vacation is Tokyo Disney they honor Walt’s legacy and I will honor them with my money and time! Also looking to traveling Japan as well, the culture and food looks amazing.
You do have to check out Tokyo Disneyland. It is what Disney USED to be!

People should have said “No” when they STARTED all this sensitivity stuff, not when we’re this far down the slope. Now it feels like it’s too late to turn it around.
Humans, especially Americans, have been conditioned to believe they are the bad guy of they refuse to compromise so we tend to let things go unchallenged if it's a small change. With DEI they didn't introduce it at the start but after years of pre DEI steps/changes like.
1) racism is systemic
2) whites have internal racism
3) blacks are unfairly targeted by law enforcement
4) women are oppressed by men
And more. Like spending all day preparing the turkey to be served at Thanksgiving dinner, the American public has been slowly conditioned to becready to serve up DEI and still it looks like their DEI efforts will eventually fail. What burns me is they are pandering to people who don’t spend one red cent in the parks!!!!!!! That’s what irks me!!!!
As someone who visited Disney World most years from 1977-2016, it's beyond my comprehension why any average American still attends this park. It also puzzles me that so many are puzzled when Disney does these woke things. They have been going full force lecturing us and changing beloved attraction after beloved attraction for a solid 5 years, even though they are hemorrhaging 100's of millions of dollars. No one is attending the parks and their continual woke lectures to us is the core reason why. They raise prices through the roof. Attractions are falling apart. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO CHANGE! There are parks just down the street (Universal/SeaWorld) that are exponentially better values, ride for ride are better parks (especially after Epic Universe opens), and we're not preached at politically. Those are my family's and me go-to parks now, including our home park here in the Charlotte area (Carowinds). I don't care what their or anyone else's political views are. I just don't want it relentlessly shoved in my face 24/7. Disney will never change until shareholders get all management out and do a total house cleaning in its policies. But to complain about Disney while they're still telling guests to screw off for the last 5 years and at the same time attending the parks is just strange to me.
I agree... Total divestment and boycott.. until all of the leadership changes and the house is cleaned!
That includes people who are invested in mutual funds or whatever... The need to get at their broker demand they sell off anything connected to Disney in any way!

Well their investors are paying them to do this. Their three largest are Blackrock, Vanguard, and Statestreet. They have the collective wealth of the world as they are in bed with the people that print money..they don't care how much money they lose, they are trying to destroy everything on purpose.
So the little guy average joe investors have no power because they would basically need the above named companies to sue them as well. The high ranking executives including CEO, CFO, LFO, board members, etc etc get paid while everybody else loses out.
This is getting scary with all of this DEI stuff. Disney is destroying itself.

What Pro said is so true: People whose job is to find offensive things will be out-of-a-job if they don't find offensive things, so they must keep labeling things problematic to keep their jobs, even if they really aren't.
The ironic thing about it being called “Stories Matter” is that the story part actually matters the least.
Blame our “friends” on the other side for that change. Let’s hope the revisions are just as poorly implemented as those made to the attraction formerly known as Splash Mountain and become a maintenance nightmare for Disney…
What I find truly ironic is the same people that were perfectly fine with black washing, aerial brown washing snow white and then changing godly knows what else are freaking out because a white voice actor is damn good in Spanish and is very convincing as one of the three Caballeros that doesn’t make any sense and don’t even get me started on the whole kisses thing. The kisses are adorable.

Another example I find it odd that Disney wants to remove the hanging in the haunted mansion and in Star wars they have a character that kills themselves.

To be fair, do we even trust any of the Imagineers to actually do something good with Journey Into Imagination or any other rides that need updated? They have an impressive record of… failure.
If I took over Disney, first thing I’d do is give Joe Rohde a blank check to come back and overhaul the engineering and creative departments.
Same it confuses me that Disney doesn’t utilize his talent. And even when they do, I’ve read many instances of them basically pushing back against his plans/ideas.
I read that even recently he left the Tiana’s bayou adventure project because Disney was denying him the budget and refusing to go along with his ideas for the ride. That’s pretty dumb on Disneys part but disney is too arrogant and greedy to care

Others are pushing to remove basically everything. Figment is the mascot of Epcot and they’re just stripping everything until there won’t be a soul to it. Splash mountain that’s song many considered in imagineering as their theme song. I’ve seen a lot of channels pushing I think the woke agenda saying it’s just inevitable that change is and I think what they mean is they like this particular change and want it so act like it’s morally right and realistic rather than pointless destruction of anything of substance with no good reason.

He loves everything about life and if you are ever around him, you can't help but feel it too. This is INSANELY stupid. Jose is Brazilian, and we Brazilians are not Hispanic despite being Latinos.
Brazil loves Jose, but there are some things that are a little sad, like when they pronounce his name with a Mexican accent (it's Joe-zé not Hoe-zé because he's not Hispanic)
Furthermore, it would be cool if Brazilian culture was at least a little represented where he appears.
Disney tends to put all Latin countries in the same box as if we had the same culture. I'm sure many people must even think that Jose is Mexican.
In conclusion, as a Brazilian, I don't find the attraction offensive nor am I bothered by the fact that the voice actor is not Brazilian, but it would be nice to have my culture represented.
The feelings police are one big reason I have not in a long time, and will never again patronize anything woke Disney.

The great and might Tokyo Disney Resort passed on Tiana and the new CBJ, which was originally designed for their Westernland, because they didn’t think the attractions met their quality standards. But now the same UA-cam channels that always praise TDR are saying these aren’t too bad. Protect that media access! Three Caballeros and HM will absolutely go down the same way 😢

Disney doesn't get that you can't change someones mind. You just have to go towards people that you think are predisposed to think a certain way.
Right. You can't force change or force people to think how you want... The harder the try the more resistance and push back they are going to meet.
Change is something one has to INSPIRE in others. It starts from within, by the individual, and if the result of it has a positive outcome then it will inspire others to do likewise.

2 Things: 1: At this point no attraction or show is safe from DEI. I already sense they will comb through all their IP's and "update" them to be more inclusive in film and parks. They probably will go after Seven Dwarfs Mine Train just because Snow White.
2: Far as rides that I would think need attention apart from ones mentioned Kali River Rapids definitely needs an update as its inferior to the Grizzly River Run in California. Toy Story Mania. This one I would like if they could pull off the Star Tours method of randomizing the Minigame Sets. If I'm not mistaken the Wii version of the ride even has more sets. Far as I remember you had scenes from Dinosaurs, Sheep, Aliens, Western, and Army. There might be others but I can't recall. Another one people might not really think of is the Water Parks. Between the two Water Parks I think there has been only like 1 new attraction in the past decade and although I haven't been at the parks since 2016 but if the maintenance in the parks are this bad between Jungle Cruise, the Sewer smell of the Land area of Epcot, Tiana's, Figment, etc. I imagine the Water Parks are probably falling apart.
Another note: It's interesting how I guess the Fab 7 characters are "unpopular" compared to current Disney and Pixar movies that Disney removes them (Donald's Mexico Ride) and replace it with something can say "I know that movie" (Coco). Mickey finally got a ride after has last show of Mickey Mouse's Revue, Donald for the time being has a ride and a show, and Goofy has one ride. Daisy doesn't have her own ride neither does Chip or Dale.

I know many won’t notice or believe me, but I went to Epcot last month and noticed something very different from my past visits. I compared my old footage of Spaceship Earth because what I saw didn’t make sense.
The animatronics all have a “darker” skin tone now.

I know many Mexicans and Brazilians that would be PISSED if they got rid of the Three Caballeros. The characters are extremely beloved by the people belonging to both cultures. As far as Rob Paulsen is concerned, replacing him is not necessary. However, I would be happy if they did get a Brazilian Portugese actor that sounded more like José Oliveira, the original voice of José Carioca. As is, he doesn't really sound like the original character, and that original voice was so darn good!

Well? It's 2024 and society is not as thick-skinned as it was in 2010 or 1990 or 1970. It seems that society is "learning" to be more and more emotionally "triggered" every year that goes by. We all must,...or course,...CELEBRATE and HONOR this fact. If we plot our emotional sensitivity growth on a chart and average it UP and UP and UP to maybe 25 years from now? My God, society will reach SPECTACULAR levels of emotional sensitivity. Our future emotional sensitivity meter will break the gauge and set it on fire! Well?...with Disney's help,...this IS the emotional evolution destination for humanity. It's the quest to find the ULTIMATE "safe space"...where you are never challenged or pressured. Remember Wall-E? It really is what life on the "Axiom" was trying to accomplish. I think that the "safe space" concept is one of the WORST ideas that humanity has ever tried to sell.

My father was born in El Salvador, and arrived in the US during WW2, where he worked constructing ships. He absolutely loved "Three Caballeros", and I remember his renting the film on 16MM, and playing it for friends and family, long before there was home media. He even had the songs on 78, which he liked listening to. It was my daughter, who introduced me to "Legends of the Three Caballeros", which I actually preferred over the Ducktales reboot, that was made for Disney channels overseas. I don't think "Legends of the Three Caballeros got much play in the US.
I wish companies felt the same way about stolen information but they still information from us now just the information we give them but they can't even keep that safe

How to enjoy the speedway as an adult… take the resort monorail to the Poly. Go to the bar and order 2 Lapu Lapus. Order them without the pineapple to save on the cost. Drink those. Take the monorail back to MK. Go drunk driving on the speedway. Have a friend take DUI photos from the walkway above the track.

PRO. Let me tell you about my last visit to Disney World. To start I am a black man. I was with my wife, mother, father and step son. When we went through the security check, they pulled my mother to the side and checked her purse. I began to notice they checked Indian, Hispanic, Asian and other non white people. They did not check one singe white person in the security check. However, they did not check my wife's purse. OH...she is white. I did email them about that and they responded by saying they would look into the situation. Whatever. Im not telling you something you dont know Pro. THEY ARE HYPOCRITES!

It’s happening with the parks and shows and I hope they lose enough money to corse correct or get bought up by someone that wants to make money off of all families.
Splash Mountain is one thing but if you take my Haunted Mansion thats it for good. My family goes on Hanuted Mansion first whenever we go to the park. You take that away you take me away. Id imagine it was very similar for others with Splash Mountain
