Simple and effective tutorial. Easy to follow and all the right advice ito torque specs and having to lift up the wheel hubs before tightening. Thanks this helped a lot!
Nice guide. How long does this take? This feels like something I could tackle without huge garage fees. My mk3 estates driving like a bag of wonk at the mo, tracking spot on, garage can't find any issues and there's no knocking ( other than a weird heat shield type noise that isn't the shield or regular ) They did the rear dampers as I felt the rear was wallowing in fast loaded bends and that solved some of it like the supported rear was putting more weight on the front tyres, tyres were also rotated at the time ( mid life Goodyear efficient grip 2 ) but that initial "solved" feel has gone away again. Steering is too light and feels like no grip at the front, over bumps and drains it feels like there's a little sideways shimmy from the rear.

Get lost with your tork measurements , simply not necessarily .
You’re right, most will just zip them up… but was asked to do it proper 😂
They are necessary, especially so on stretch bolts which should be replaced on major components like control arms.
Also, learn to spell. Tork!
