Skipping the fast forward of you putting the hub back on the shock tells me its gonna be a nightmare 😂 nice straight forward video mate, thankyou. Let you know how i get on
@@CarMechanicsTV tutorial was spot on mate. I dare say getting the hub off was harder than getting it back on in my case. I put a piece of steel in the gap you used the spreader in (too block the bolt) and sent the pinch bolt in from the threaded side. Managed to open the mount on the hub a nice amout and the absorber slid straight in. Thanks for the help, earned yourself a sub
Hi I have a ford focus mk3 titanium x I have just changed the shocks and the wishbones both sides and I hit something on the road on the motorway 🛣 cut the tyre and scraped the alloy wheels passenger side front and now terrible knocking and ideas
@@FCMidge it's sort out your dead right top Mark's on that thank you for getting back I done it my self new wishbones twice yes hit something on the motor way really hard damaged the alloy wheel
No need to remove the wipers or scuttle panel, just remove the T30 screw and 10mm bolt at each end and lift the scuttle to access the 3 x 13mm bolts either side.
6:15 he’s smiling as he survived using those widow-maker spring compressors 😂

@@FCMidge definitely took some perseverance getting it all switched over haha, but its all done and working a treat
@@jakewhite9179 glad you sorted it. Funny car the Focus. Sometimes they pop right off, other times you wish you had a JCB to pull it out! 😂
Thanks for doing the video!

Top mount is quite likley if it’s taken a whack at the bottom. Lot of leverage on those

@@ANDY-we7mr no probs, sorry it took a while. Glad you’re sorted
