I've been stuck in MR16 for years, because I dont want to grind for it, and MR16 pretty much makes me able to use everything, so that's enough for me.
MR12 is enough to unlock all the content in the game. So you overdid it. 😂

@@TigraPolosatiyMost prime weapons and several market and clan weapons / frames all need up to 16. That’s why every new player guide ever says to get to MR16
I played only Valkyr for 4 years.
Then I switched to Valkyr Prime and played only her for another year.

Back in 2014, sometimes you were FORCED to buy revives with plat, especially during endless void runs. If you didn't you would lose all your prime parts. That's not so much a mistake as it was a necessity. Same can be said about selling normal frames, before helminth there was no need to keep them and they took up valuable slots. Also, shieldgating wasn't really a thing until overshields were implemented.

I wasn´t a good player in those years (2013-2015), so when I played the first mission, I was always worried about not dying, 'cause then I would need the fokin platinum to keep playing. I once sold a kuva bramma riven for 15 platinum when I started playing back when that was the undisputed meta primary, suffice to say I would strangle old me homer style if I were to go back in time

There are no bad decisions in Warframe, just less efficient ways to play
buying 15 dollars worth of plat and then spend it for nidus on market
Warframe is so fking good that u can litterally do whatever you want, there isn't only one play stile but probably a 100
Not using shield gating isn't a mistake. Shield gating is a mechanic that makes the game needlessly hectic and is not even useful compared to other ways of staying alive. It's only really useful when you push for level cap and a single unlucky shot can oneshot you no matter how much shield you have.
But I found subsuming Pillage way more useful, plus it doesn't feel intrusive to my playstyle at all. It only falls off at a point where enemies get to level 500+. Which most of the time, they don't.
I bought an Ember Prime Blueprint for 1,000 platinum before unvaultings existed.
You should never regret decisions you made that where the right call with your past knowledge
I farmed base protea for 8 hours straight. At the end i was just happy to finally do something else.
I am a resonance banshee player and will continue to be and my latron prime hasn't left my hands in 8 years.

If it helps I bought revives with plat too, and I still haven't forgiven myself.
Things i regret:
Making another account because i thought the starter warframe was permanent and i couldn't never change it 😂
Warframe in my life was a double edged sword, it gave me online friends, memories and actual beneficial vocabulary and other knowledge but it also made me addicted and lazy to exercise, if I could trade some of those hours for workouts, I would've lost 10 kilos probably
Exercise is a terrible way to lose weight.
You can lose that weight without getting off your butt once by simply changing what you eat. Speaking from experience here. Exercise is great for generally feeling better, though.

"torid wasnt meta back then" torid has been meta since release
Torid was an awesome weapon at launch. I never understood why people didn't consider it a meta weapon. The clouds it created were great for endless runs when you find a place to camp.
