This track was on a mixtape that featured Mac with a few other artists (Wiz, Curren$y, & A$AP Rocky) called “the Mile High Club.” Mac had so many gems that weren’t on his albums. He joked one time in a freestyle that his throw-aways are better than other peoples’ album singles, the man was absolutely right. Love and miss you so much, Mac. Thanks for the memories, brother. in my opinion all of my favorite mac songs are from his mixtapes. His albums are great too but for me my favorite mac music is his mixtapes from around 2007-2011 time frame. And blue slide park too which was right around that same time period but it is an album.

I thank God, Mac, & the friends that won’t let them take his music from us always. It really gets to me when “They” delete his stuff from SoundCloud and other places that stream, not just because of how much I love the music (that’s a big part of it, of course) but also because Mac wouldn’t want them doing that. He was all about getting free music out to his fans, hence, I Love Life, Thank You. I buy the albums that are available from legit sources and if possible from Mac’s website itself, not bootlegs. However, a lot of his stuff isn’t available officially on CD anywhere. I’m those cases I have bootleg copies but would much rather spend money on legitimate copies. I was rather upset when Faces and Macadelic were re-released and they wouldn’t put out CD’s, only vinyl is being made available these days. It sucks. (I’ve collected CDs my whole life.) Luckily I have KIDS, Faces, Macadelic, & ILLTY as CD copies that are as legit as you can get as of now and are from back in the day. Makes me sad that actual disc copies of everything/anything are becoming more and more rare & harder and harder to find. Anyways…Keep swimming my friends! 👍
