This really hits hard each time I hear the lyrics, I’ve been addicted to getting high for 8 years ish, just weed. But I remember when I first tried smoking weed when I was young I thought it was such a good feeling why would I ever want to be sober for doing anything, it’s always better high...now years later I’ve struggled with mental illness and my overall health really isn’t good. My life lately has become dull and uneventful, when Mac says those lyrics I can understand what he means, when your high every day, “everyday feel like the best day ever” you’re so used to always being high, and you no longer enjoy life being high or sober, “...till’ everyday feel like the best day ever...you used to them days, kinda become a routine...” RIP Mac never thought you’d go so soon 😔

But boy was I wrong about Mac after hearing Knock knock.
I then heard “Polo jeans” a few years later in my friends dorm room. I said “This is Mac Miller?!?!”
What I’m getting at is that after listening to blue slide park, and some other fun releases, I couldn’t believe how deep the onion really was.
Mac miller is a creative enigma capable of utterly unique lyricism and musical production.
