Hi, I like this reforestation video. Wow. I wish Europe could be conscious the same as China. Inspired by Chinese reforest efforts, I was this winter in Spain and worked in a Hippie - permaculture farm and we used leguminosis as a fertilizer as well. Then I was looking to find a farm in the desert region to use my knowledge, but because of corona there was no oppurtunity (the hippies on the andalucian mediterranean coast weren´t as strict as the inner land normal people with corona). But, I spoke a lot with people in the desert, improved my spanish. Everyone to who I spoke said at the end: "Yes, we need to reforest our land which we plundered 500 years ago". I hope, I was able to make some good work there.

I enjoyed your video. After I retired, my wife and I moved to Guangzhou for two year. We enjoyed it so much! The food! The people! We had to move back to the USA to care for my elderly mother. Part of the reason for the move was because of my inability to learn a new language - “you cannot teach an old dog new tricks”. “Woshi yizi lao gou”. Your Chinese is too fast for me, as are the English subtitles.. is there a way for me to see an English transcription of the dialog? I would love to follow this channel.

作为毛乌素沙漠长大的孩子，我小时候经常经历沙尘暴天气，黄沙遮天蔽日，大家出门都系丝巾戴口罩，能见度不到十五米。直到去年拍摄需要一个沙漠场景，回老家找景的时候，发现已经找不到一片我记忆中的沙漠景象了，才忽然发现从小生活的沙漠已经消失不见了。
以前从包头去榆林都没有路，要在沙漠里面开车，车轮常常陷在沙漠里面，整车的人都要下来推……2010年包鄂榆才通了铁路。如今又通了高速公路又宽阔又平整。高速铁路也要在2022年通车了，没有对毛乌素沙漠的治理，交通也得不到改善。

去她家玩时，平房的这面有很多水很大的水渠，到处是树木。
往另一边去，走路不到10分钟，有长长的看不到两头的铁丝网，铁丝网的那面是一望无际，一眼看不到边的沙漠，寸草不生，望过去，除了沙子什么也看不到。
表姐对我说不能过去，过去人就找不见了。2009年，我再去同一个地方，在同一个居住地，已经完全看不到沙漠了。当时也没多想。
这几年看到一些治沙的报道，我才了解到，表姐除了结婚生子退休，她还在我看不到的地方，从事了这么大的一个令人生畏的项目。
偉大的國家！偉大的人民！有的人常常拿中國農民的小毛病擴大化，説他們沒有素質！世界上除了中國還能找得到更堅強更刻苦耐勞更努力專研的農民嗎？花了18年，終於把沙漠變為綠洲。👍👍👍👏👏👏了不起！向你們致敬!

That was very educational to learn the different types of plants used to combat desertification! It was great that you spoke to the people on the ground. It really adds the human aspect to the greening of the desert.
Salute to all those people who devoting their life for the greenery of the deserts, especially when I heard the gentleman said this job has to be continue for more than a century, their perseverance are very much appreciated. 愚公移山 (Yugong Yishan) can only be done by Chinese in China.

Hi, I like this reforestation video. Wow. I wish Europe could be conscious the same as China. Inspired by Chinese reforest efforts, I was this winter in Spain and worked in a Hippie - permaculture farm and we used leguminosis as a fertilizer as well.
Then I was looking to find a farm in the desert region to use my knowledge, but because of corona there was no oppurtunity (the hippies on the andalucian mediterranean coast weren´t as strict as the inner land normal people with corona). But, I spoke a lot with people in the desert, improved my spanish. Everyone to who I spoke said at the end: "Yes, we need to reforest our land which we plundered 500 years ago".
I hope, I was able to make some good work there.

I enjoyed your video. After I retired, my wife and I moved to Guangzhou for two year. We enjoyed it so much! The food! The people! We had to move back to the USA to care for my elderly mother. Part of the reason for the move was because of my inability to learn a new language - “you cannot teach an old dog new tricks”. “Woshi yizi lao gou”. Your Chinese is too fast for me, as are the English subtitles.. is there a way for me to see an English transcription of the dialog? I would love to follow this channel.
You can adjust the Playback speed to slower speed(perhaps at 0.75 speed). Go to "Settings" and look for "Playback speed". Hope this helps.:)
