- We had the opportunity to board the Ruby Princess leaving San Francisco. After the last couple of fears we have had, I thought it would be nice to share a ship tour. Enjoy this cruise ship tour.

Nice to see the Ruby updated! Agree with other comment… not Good Spirits but International Cafe. Also, in mini suites and up, you have the welcome aboard champagne on Princess. And, yes, got a little seasick watching the video.
Great contribution to princess ship knowledge. I was on the ruby this november 2021, and will be on it again this july 2022. Its a wonderful ship, and your video explores the ship very well. Thankyou.

Thanks so much for the tour! We're going on the Ruby Princess in November, 2022 to Hawaii. We're really looking forward to it! We haven't been able to cruise since 2016 because of family obligations and then the pandemic hit. Our cruises on the Diamond Princess for Japan were cancelled 4 times so we're really excited about our Hawaii cruise out of San Francisco! Your video really gives us a nice preview of the ship!

Celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary and going to Hawaii, 16 nights from San Francisco next year, Plus package and balcony it the only way to go. We will enjoy every moment for sure.

The info was good but the fast movement of the video was unwatchable because it was like spinning to dizziness.

Thanks!! We have traveled out of SF several times on the Grand Princess but never on the Ruby. I think those two ships are similar "class".
Yes the Ruby and the Grand are all in the Grand Class of Princess ships. Also are the Emerald, Crown, Caribbean, Saphire, and Diamond.

I think you got your names wrong for Good Spirits at Sea. You showed the International Cafe. Very confusing video to watch. I needed a sea sickness pill to get to the end
It's a ship, not a boat. It's a deck, not a floor.

Great video. What type of activities do they have during the day? Any dance classes?
The activities change every day. Before bed every night m, your room steward leaves a schedule for the next day. It is filled with daily activities: trivia, dance classes, games, shows, comedy, learning, and loads of fun stuff. It’s called Princess Patter. It will also show what time you will arrive in port, and what time all aboard is.

I am glad to see your video. It was very informative. I was about to book it for next year, but it is a little too outdated for my liking. I don’t think it would be the cruise ship for me.
what things are you wanting on a newer ship ?
Im coming form mega ships, so is this ship pretty worn out? Easy to get bored? Food good? Ive read questionable reviews lol
First, it’s Princess. I’m typing this currently on the Norwegian bliss. Talking about how we miss our Princess sized stateroom. The beds are softer, the TV is bigger, and the food is better. You will never go back to Mega size
Booked a 15 night SF round-trip to Hawaii on the Ruby Princess (Mar27-Apr11) the moment they dropped the MASK requirement. That was the deal killer.
That will be a great cruise on a great ship! Have an amazing time
@@72Robworks It's an older ship, but SF round trip means I don't have to fly anywhere to take the cruise and that is a big plus. What's more, the single supplement is $100 which is the lowest I have ever seen on Princess -- low enough that even if you are a couple you may want to pay it so you can combine two adjoining rooms into one massive living space that beats a mini suite.

We alwys go out of Longbeach hoping to save money going gout of SF its just a 3 hour drive no hotel but we are not sure where to park.
@@jackiewilson7857 I live 20 mins away in a town called Belmont on the SF Peninsula. I simply asked a friend to drop me off at the port on the way out and a family member to pick me up on the way back. If you are driving in from 3 hours away, there's airport parking for as little as $6.95 a day at off site lots. You can Uber to the pier for ~$50.

Parking in San Francisco is one of the worst places in the US. The pricing is horrible for long times. If you wanted cheaper options, I suggest two. One: park at economy at the airport and Uber to the ship. Or two: park in Berkeley and ferry over.

Do interior rooms have full-size bathtubs, also?
I think only the suites have full size bathtubs

On your splash screen, you stated, "Ruby Princes Boat Tour" The only boat is the lifeboat otherwise it's call a ship or cruise ship. The video was done wonderfully.
My wife and I watched your video last night., Your camera work made her sick. You move from point to point too quickly. You need to slow down your panning and move the camera more smoothly. Way too herky-jerky!
Sorry about that, we speed up the footage to make the video shorter. It was way to long at normal speed. Which caused the video to look really jerky. Experience comes from mistakes and we plan on gaining experience from each of our videos. Honest input is always appreciated.
@@72Robworks instead of speeding up the video to shorten it because it’s too long? Why don’t you break it up into 3-4 videos. You would be doing all of us a favor and maybe gain more followers and get fewer negative comments. Good luck with future videos.

The worst of the worst trip ever. I will never go Princess again. Things went on that should not have happened. Norweigen was so much better.
