Bath Bubbles ! Emma, I never comment on a video, but I felt compelled to chime in. My husband and I have been enjoying your videos on your Norwegian Spirit cruise to Japan. We took the same ship for our first ever cruise to Alaska. We kept saying “that room looks just like the cabin we stayed in”. Imagine our surprise when it was the EXACT cabin! (I also loved the tub and wondered about people looking into the windows during my evening bath or shower.) We loved that cabin and the Spirit. It was a great first experience, especially since at the time we took our cruise in September of 2022 there were only 500 guests on the ship. Love your content and your British-isms. As we were thinking about booking a cruise, yours was one of the first cruising channels we started watching and we’ve kept up on your adventures ever since.

We grow up on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the USA. You need your favorite jelly or jam though. Mine is blackberry or strawberry. Elvis was famous for peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
Just as important is having the right bread! (I'll also add that honey is great with peanut butter, as is Miracle Whip -- although not many people agree with me on that one.)
Nice step up for you, and the green dress is a fitting step-up for it! I, too, like a separate bedroom, but I really want that bedroom to have a sea view. The veranda suites on the Viking longship, for example, have a perfect layout for a mid-priced suite. P.S. Americans say "that's the ticket" also.

The lack of blinds in the shower surprised me. I've stayed in a 2BR Haven suite on two different NCL ships, and both had a floor-to-ceiling window in the master bathroom shower, along with a blind that you could raise/lower. We didn't worry about it on sea days, but we did for port days. Even if we weren't docked facing land or another ship, we worried about anyone on a passing boat being able to see in. On vacation, I tend to shower before dinner, so on port days, I would wait until we were well underway before showering so I could safely enjoy the views from the shower.
OMG I just added this to my bucket list. it'll probably be a once in a lifetime kind of thing due to how expensive it'll be to fly to Japan and get a suite, but I HAVE to try that bathtub! lol
As an American, it cracks me up how weird Brits find PB&J. I remember Paul Hollywood reacting in horror at the idea of such a combo on Great British Bakeoff and that was the first time I ever knew it's not a universal thing!

Just make sure that the shower spray doesn't hit the paper! lol I was going to suggest buying one of those window clings... but you would have to know that you got this cabin type for it to be of any use.

Eyeballing the size of that shower window, it seems like they could cover it with electrochromic film for a few hundred dollars. Then you could just turn a knob to make it go from transparent to dark or opaque.
I’ve only ever been on two cruises and I loved every second of both voyages. Sadly my partner at the time wasn’t as keen on cruising as I was. I'm an American and have never liked PB&J sandwiches. Too sweet! However, peanut butter cookies or Reese's Peanut Butter cups are pretty great. You should try those and see if you like them better.
When we were little and wouldn't eat something we were given, my grandma would say, "Don't care, more for me." So you go right ahead not liking pb&j, more for me!
Emma, I really like that cabin! Our Suite on the MSC Seashore had a bathtub in the bathroom and the hot tub on the balcony. My wife loved the cabin having a bathtub too!
Hey Emma! Great video as always! Nice work! I have only been on on Norwegian Ship, Breakaway and it was the BEST food of any cruise I have ever taken. The ship was huge, but I though the design and layout was horrible!!!
The suite we've chosen on each of two Viking river cruises (so far) has a similar window in the shower like that in the cabin you had. On our first Viking sailing (2022) an "on/off" switch on the wall would fog/unfog the window. On the second Viking sailing (earlier this year) in the same cabin, tho a different longship, the window was permanently fogged and translucent. Even when the window was fogged (or on the second sailing when it was permanently fogged), neither my wife nor I would shower with the bathroom lights illuminated lest our silhouette "project."
It looked like grape jelly, 100% gross. If you have a strawberry jam and peanut butter sandwich its a whole different world! But if this was strawberry, fair enough not for you.😊
I have never been able to get my head around peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Have not tried them! I live for brownies and New England Clam Chowder, but not those tragic Brady Bunch sandwiches. I like the cabin. Thank you for the video. (Bath bubbles)

Your fist pb&j😮. I never thought about it not being a thing in Europe. Peanut butter and jelly can be made with so many different types of jelly and peanut butter. I agree the classic with grape jelly is not good. The best is peanut butter and Fluff aka a Fluffernutter. I grew up in New England with these delicious sandwiches made of marshmallow cream and peanut butter. Way better than a PB&J.
On the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches (or just PB&J's), they're mostly a comfort food from people's childhood. If you grew up eating them as a kid, you probably have fond memories of them in adulthood. As for me, eh, they're okay, but nothing special I remember from my (now distant) childhood. But they're not something a lot of adults seek out to eat, unless broke or needing "comforting from an old childhood friend."
The new decor is way better but have you even dreamed of going back to the 90's or in my case 80's. I'm going to make a late 80's early 90's room someday.
I would be absolutely terrified to sleep in that double mirror room. Every movement out of the corner of my eye would freak me out as something else in the room moving.
I like the Jewel class, maybe I should try the "Spirit"? class? I was on the Pearl and it lost its fish carpets with the recent refurb :(. PB&Js are horrible, agreed.

I/we cruised on that ship back in 2005, in a regular balcony cabin. I wish you had shown some of the ship, other than your bathtub ....LOL, so I could see what has changed via that multi-million dollar upgrade. I do remember the rather small balcony that you had to sit facing forward or backward on, not big enough for facing out. For future reference try Holland America's (Nieuw Amsterdam) for a ship with not only a jetted bathtub but also the twin facebowl in the bathroom. we had that in a junior suite.
I live in Australia and used to enjoy peanut butter and honey on sandwiches or a slice of toast as a child. I wasnt a fan of pb&j when i gave it a go. I did revisit peanut butter & honey on toast as a comparison and still preferred it.
Not gonna lie, no bathroom door is a deal breaker for me. There are 2 types of people in this world.. People who have been in the army.. And people who like some privacy in the bathroom!

🎉 💜 We're you able to find all of your "spread-out" items when time to go? 🤔 A couple of suctioncups with hooks, to hang inside your shower window sides, draping a cloth between them, might help at times. Looks like loads of FUN! 🎉

The best is peanut butter and Fluff aka a Fluffernutter. I grew up in New England with these delicious sandwiches made of marshmallow cream and peanut butter. Way better than a PB&J.
On the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches (or just PB&J's), they're mostly a comfort food from people's childhood. If you grew up eating them as a kid, you probably have fond memories of them in adulthood. As for me, eh, they're okay, but nothing special I remember from my (now distant) childhood. But they're not something a lot of adults seek out to eat, unless broke or needing "comforting from an old childhood friend."

I would be absolutely terrified to sleep in that double mirror room. Every movement out of the corner of my eye would freak me out as something else in the room moving.

I/we cruised on that ship back in 2005, in a regular balcony cabin. I wish you had shown some of the ship, other than your bathtub ....LOL, so I could see what has changed via that multi-million dollar upgrade. I do remember the rather small balcony that you had to sit facing forward or backward on, not big enough for facing out.
For future reference try Holland America's (Nieuw Amsterdam) for a ship with not only a jetted bathtub but also the twin facebowl in the bathroom. we had that in a junior suite.

I live in Australia and used to enjoy peanut butter and honey on sandwiches or a slice of toast as a child. I wasnt a fan of pb&j when i gave it a go. I did revisit peanut butter & honey on toast as a comparison and still preferred it.

🤔 A couple of suctioncups with hooks, to hang inside your shower window sides, draping a cloth between them, might help at times.

Peanut butter, marmite and jam is lovely sweet-and-sour and crunchy. (marmite = Vegemite, Jam = jelly)
Please don't judge your peanut butter and jelly Sammie on the one you showed here. That Sammie looked terrible. Try a toasted bread with butter and peanut butter on one side and the jelly on the other side, make a Sammie out of it. More delis this way. Nice bathtub!
