Beautiful stitches! I love how these look and your tutorials are clear on instructions. I always recommend you to people that are wanting to learn to crochet. I can’t imagine not having Mikey in my life to learn from! Thank you!!❤
Thank you so much for being such an amazing teacher!!! You have taught me so much and given me the courage to not only step outside my comfort zone, but to also have more faith in myself and my crochet. Now I just need to learn to be able to go faster 😜
Mikey, you were my 1st teacher & I will never leave your channel! All I knew before finding you was a granny square. I love the Sedge Stitch! Ty so much for being a great teacher! ❤❤❤
I love the sedge stitch and I have to say the spiked one will be a definite to do! Thank you Mikey, for all you do. You are very loved and appreciated. ❤
Sedge stitch is one of my favorites and adding the spike element is so cool! I wish I could think of these things on my own, but since I never do, I will count on you to show me these lovely little tweeks that make things a little bit more interesting. Thank you! 😘
Hi Mikey. Charts scare me. As soon as I saw those wavy lines, I thought, I can't do this, but you explained it so well. I know I can do it now. This wood make a great fireside blanket. So warm! Thanks so much for this tutorial. Have a great day!! 😀
Hi Mikey. I am making a triangle shawl with a very similar stitch, just putting in a single then 2 doubles. I pull the single pretty tight and that makes the fabric pucker out a bit. It is very pretty when done. I was hoping to find a pattern for a rectangle fabric and THIS will work!!!! SO completely happy. Love your channel.
Love the stitch, is it looks like a yarn eater. I love to know if things are a yarn eater helps me. get enough yarn to make what ever I'm doing❣️ I don't read patterns at 70 I feel no need to tax my ole brain I just think it and go..😳🤣❣️
My go to for quick baby blanket donations is your tutorial for the one skein textured baby blanket. I use Caron jumbo ombré because it looks great in that blanket. That stitch is similar to the sedge but with 1 sc, 2 dc. What is that stitch called? I’m going to try the spiked sedge, it’s so pretty.
If I want to add this stitch for a contracting stitch to a blanket I am doing. Would you say I should do at least 3 rows of Sedge or who many continuous rows of sedge would you suggest?

Just LUFF BOTH options, but am wondering if this stitch is a "yarn eater" ?
