If you watched this video, the machine does sound a bit loud, so your dog might be afraid of it, BUT you could always get your dog a Happy hoodie to wear while you blow their coats out. The Happy Hoodie goes over the dogs ears & lessens the noise a bit for them. Hope this helps. 😀
No blower is silent, BUT this does have a lot of settings. We did show the noise in the video (you must have missed that part). With this one, because the low setting is a fairly low volume, I think it could be a good starting spot. I HIGHLY recommend you "pretend" to use it while it's off to get your dogs used to it. Let them check it out, lots of treats, and slowly start turning it on until they get used to it.

Jess, does the blower / Vac have a model number. the link changes to UK (I live in the UK) but it does not show that one just a selection.
