However, there is never any mention or suggestion of her being a love interest for WWX,(he’s too obvious to notice anyway). She’s too busy just keeping her family alive and doesn’t have time for affairs of the heart. Furthermore, she’s too politically astute to get involved with anyone knowing that it would most likely get them both killed. Jiang Cheng did give her a comb as a courting gift but she returned it, meaning she turned him down.

The drama is very interesting and she has an extremely interesting face - she looks like an anime character :) I like her acting and it's really sad that because of some artificially made popular drama (Untamed) her career was affected! Yes, I openly declare that the so-called "famous" drama Untamed is a state project and too many party propagandists are involved in it. And it's clear that someone wrote a report about her and the scandal is just an attempt to cover it up! China is China - everything is hidden, the networks are manipulated, trolls are used, but finally, international fans have started to understand what is really happening in the industry.
Untamed is the most overrated cdrama of all time. The script and editing were terrible and people only followed it mainly due the the bromance which was weak. Its fans tossing hate at anyone who does not like it just makes it even worse. She was one of the few actors on the show along with Xiao Zhan I liked about the series. And please-like an actress had control over the script? Give me a break. Why are people so ignorant and full of hate? The producers rewrote parts of the book so they could get it approved, that is not her fault.
I didn’t even know she’s in the untamed. All side characters are just paper figures to me in that series. I am not talking about the actors, but the series as a whole. People like it but in my opinion it could have been better. I am a reader of the novel so, yea, I find it hard to accept that series the way it was done. I am a Christian, related or not, I did not watch "The Untamed" because after watching a few minutes of episode 1, I felt something was wrong. Found out later that this is a successful gay drama, I can stand the bromance, but not the LGBT romance on screen. I just saw Meng Zi Yi in "Blossom" & was surprised because some said she's a talented experienced actress. I don't recognize her before, guess I'll watch "Royal Rumours" after this.
The book was LGBT but government regulators required the revision to a bromance theme. Therefore, it's not a 'successful gay drama' in the eyes of hardcore LGBT fans expecting a raunchy X-rated version true to the novel.

She did a good job in The Untamed. The reason why most people hate her acting is because she is a nepo baby(which is total hogwash) but also insisting that she gets more scenes in UT which didn't go down well with 'fans'. Otherwise, she has done well in Immortal Samsara and Blossoms.
The drama is very interesting and she has an extremely interesting face - she looks like an anime character :) I like her acting and it's really sad that because of some artificially made popular drama (Untamed) her career was affected! Yes, I openly declare that the so-called "famous" drama Untamed is a state project and too many party propagandists are involved in it. And it's clear that someone wrote a report about her and the scandal is just an attempt to cover it up! China is China - everything is hidden, the networks are manipulated, trolls are used, but finally, international fans have started to understand what is really happening in the industry.

Untamed is the most overrated cdrama of all time. The script and editing were terrible and people only followed it mainly due the the bromance which was weak. Its fans tossing hate at anyone who does not like it just makes it even worse. She was one of the few actors on the show along with Xiao Zhan I liked about the series. And please-like an actress had control over the script? Give me a break. Why are people so ignorant and full of hate? The producers rewrote parts of the book so they could get it approved, that is not her fault.
I didn’t even know she’s in the untamed. All side characters are just paper figures to me in that series. I am not talking about the actors, but the series as a whole. People like it but in my opinion it could have been better. I am a reader of the novel so, yea, I find it hard to accept that series the way it was done. Either way, her acting in blossom was super good! A good film always has lovely and amazing supporting characters and this series has them. Omg Mingu, Lu Zheng, and even Yan Tang’s asshole dad.

I am a Christian, related or not, I did not watch "The Untamed" because after watching a few minutes of episode 1, I felt something was wrong. Found out later that this is a successful gay drama, I can stand the bromance, but not the LGBT romance on screen.
I just saw Meng Zi Yi in "Blossom" & was surprised because some said she's a talented experienced actress. I don't recognize her before, guess I'll watch "Royal Rumours" after this.
The book was LGBT but government regulators required the revision to a bromance theme. Therefore, it's not a 'successful gay drama' in the eyes of hardcore LGBT fans expecting a raunchy X-rated version true to the novel.
Who spread a rumor about her being the female lead in the untamed? Whoever did this must hate her. But once again, her acting is not that great. She have the same expression in every drama she is in.
Sorry my friend, but i think your wrong, for the past 8 years i see him in lot of dramas and even movies as Supporting Roles, For me she is the one of the actresses that versatile.

First saw in "WONDERLAND"..... The way she forcefully secure the winning place in one of it's game is really DISAPPOINTING/ANNOYING....🙄
May be those past rumours are false BUT she's having upper hand may not be totally a RUMOUR.....
