Saw him for the first time in Tiger and Rose years ago and was genuinely surprised that he wasn't as big as other actors. I'm literally so happy that he's getting massive recognition and praise for his skills now. He's a real gem, and you can truly feel his characters' emotions and empathize with them. I keep seeing fans sharing lovely facts about him, plus from the way he treats fans, staff and people in general, you can tell that he's a good guy. Also, getting to know that he has rescued a lot of pets is very telling about how kind hearted he is. Wasn't much of a fan of cdramas till I saw "Melody of Golden Age" and was blown away by the mature and majestic portrayal of Daegaling's character by Ding Yuxi! Too great!! Went on to see his White Cat Legend and loved his youthful portrayal of Li Bing and his cat like movements. Too good! Ding and the boys made a great team. Went on to see Moonlight. He is just too adorable there😍 Watching Love Games in Eastern Fantasy and Black and White Forest. Amazed at his versatility of acting and his ability to emote with his eyes. So refreshing to come across a consumate artist like him. Another great respectworthy attribute of his is his ability to engage in dialogue with others, he actually talks his mind and explains his viewpoint with clarity and honesty. He actually strikes one as a good and caring human being which is such a rarity these days. But when I saw love game in eastern fantasy I decided to give it a try and honest to God I couldn’t get enough of his acting. His drama got me into Chinese content. After that I checked out romance of tiger and rose and then melody of golden age. I can now say I’m already his fan in these few weeks. When I saw him portraying these roles I can really feel the amount of experience he had to have to perform these roles. It’s not easy to have. To know just how exactly portray it and exactly how the audience wants to see it. I’ve really liked him in these past few weeks tbh. I’m already a fan and my entire UA-cam feed is his videos 🙈🙈. I’m not ready to move on now. I’ve tried watching other Chinese dramas but they’re just not the same. As with most performances, there is that first time when an actor strikes you with an intellectual and emotional rush. For DYX it was White Cat Legend. His expressions, catlike postures and his nuanced dialogue were a delight to watch. His different roles lay testament to his range of talent. But there will always be naysayers. I'm watching Melody of Golden Age at the moment and find Ding Yuxi a very handsome and good actor. I'm learning Chinese through movies. He is one of my fav male actors to watch. One thing I learned about the Chinese culture is that the Chinese really like to talk down on others. It's not just in movies. Bad habit.

I am a newcomer to cdramas, but one of the first cdramas I watched was Romance of a Twin Flower. I recognized Ding Yuxi for what he is - a great actor. Since then he has become my FAVORITE actor, which is saying a lot. I'm an older American with a lifetime of Western movie watching under my belt. Ding Yuxi is my favorite. Even if the drama falls short, he always delivers an exceptional performance.
I'm also American, been watching American, UK, Hong Kong, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Chinese movies and shows along with a sprinkling of various other nations works, but out of all of them, Ryan Ding Yuxi is my #1 favorite actor in the world!

Went on to see his White Cat Legend and loved his youthful portrayal of Li Bing and his cat like movements. Too good! Ding and the boys made a great team. Went on to see Moonlight. He is just too adorable there😍 Watching Love Games in Eastern Fantasy and Black and White Forest. Amazed at his versatility of acting and his ability to emote with his eyes. Another great respectworthy attribute of his is his ability to engage in dialogue with others, he actually talks his mind and explains his viewpoint with clarity and honesty. I never thought he had endured such hardship. I accidentally just stumbled upon LGIEF because I was looking for something to watch and I absolutely never regretted watching it and knowing Ding Yuxi. I wasn’t really into Chinese dramas up until I saw the cast of the series, particularly Ding Yuxi as Mu Sheng. When I saw him portraying these roles I can really feel the amount of experience he had to have to perform these roles. It’s not easy to have. To know just how exactly portray it and exactly how the audience wants to see it.

As with most performances, there is that first time when an actor strikes you with an intellectual and emotional rush. For DYX it was White Cat Legend. His expressions, catlike postures and his nuanced dialogue were a delight to watch. His different roles lay testament to his range of talent. But there will always be naysayers.

I like this man. His facial expression’s are above most of his pairs. I like his look cause he’s not a pretty man, he’s handsome. Masculine but can act vulnerable as a male lead. My hope for him moving forward is that he will get better parts with impressive female leads.Esther Yu gave him a platform to shine and to remind the industry of his talent. Looks can only carry you so far. In Ding's case, he's the *full package*, and his experiences will only make him stronger. I saw a couple of his shows and then he disappeared, so I'd wondered what had happened and then learned about the bullying, but when I saw him again this year I was really happy to see him back on the screens. I hope he gets sent all these positive messages because he deserves to know that his perseverance is paying off, and that he has more fans internationally who actually see and recognise his talent and hardwork. I hope he succeeds to the point where no one else can belittle him, but even more than that I want him to succeed and keep being happy and positive. First drama i saw him in was love you seven times and after watching that i was literally madly love with his character... The way he put soo much effort on his role... I'm watching Melody of Golden Age at the moment and find Ding Yuxi a very handsome and good actor. I'm learning Chinese through movies. He is one of my fav male actors to watch. One thing I learned about the Chinese culture is that the Chinese really like to talk down on others. It's not just in movies. Bad habit.
This young man is a brilliant actor. Any sad scene he is in, has me reaching for tissues, and that is damn good considering how old and jaded I am. Beautiful expressive eyes and brilliant comedic timing. How anyone could dislike him is beyond me. I wish him every success, he deserves it.
