- Last call for flatties in NJ is this week, fluke season ends on Sept 19th. This is my last outing for fluke from the surf, might as well start where the fluke season began for me....Sandy Hook. Earlier in the week I tried both Belmar and Manasquan Inlets, but due to high seas and rough surf fishing was difficult.

Man I feel you, I was supposed to go out on the Jamaica just this past Saturday, then I hit up the Manasquan cause it was last day of fluke and I got skunked lol

Dude, is it that hard to actually get the fish back into the ocean? I mean its right there, you didn’t have to drive there, just a few steps. Just bustin balls as you North Joizey guys would say. Enjoy the channel, you should post more.
