This sound is beautiful and so heart wrenching. I felt this way about someone I met and I know he felt the same way about me but he was scared. Plus we met under business terms and it just wasn’t possible to be together. I just knew he cared for me deeply though and was anything I ever wanted in a man. The first day I saw him it felt like time stopped. Once I left him I felt this kind of rush I’ve never felt before. It was magical. This to me just feels like a painful reminder that I probably won't find "the one", I had forced myself to give up on love so long ago. Now, all I wish for is to feel it again. I haven't cried in months, I haven't loved in years, I just wish I didn't make that stupid choice to give up on it. You're not the only one who gave up on love. I gave up on love too after being hurt by someone I loved... That was until someone came back into my life last year. Someone from my freshman year of high school (I'm a senior now). She was the person I felt something for when I first saw her. Something I've never felt before. Every time I see her, it just feels like the very first time I laid eyes on her. I start to get these butterflies; my hands start shaking out of nowhere; and my face just starts to turn red, so I turn away smiling. Right now it's a little complicated, but soon hopefully she realizes that what she's looking for was right in front of her the whole time. The moral of the story is, even though you may have given up on love, doesn't mean the right person for you isn't out there. You just have to let them come to you.

I’m going through a mental war between love and fear. It took me almost 17 years to do that just to get hurt enough that it left trauma that I can still feel after 3.5 years. This to me just feels like a painful reminder that I probably won't find "the one", I had forced myself to give up on love so long ago. Now, all I wish for is to feel it again. I haven't cried in months, I haven't loved in years, I just wish I didn't make that stupid choice to give up on it. Maybe then, I would be happy, I wouldn't be suicidal, I wouldn't want to end my life every damn time I think. Maybe I'd actually care for myself, maybe I would feel like I'm loved, and not just a worthless piece of junk to laugh at and then toss away.

You're not the only one who gave up on love. I gave up on love too after being hurt by someone I loved... That was until someone came back into my life last year. Someone from my freshman year of high school (I'm a senior now). She was the person I felt something for when I first saw her. Something I've never felt before. Every time I see her, it just feels like the very first time I laid eyes on her. I start to get these butterflies; my hands start shaking out of nowhere; and my face just starts to turn red, so I turn away smiling. Right now it's a little complicated, but soon hopefully she realizes that what she's looking for was right in front of her the whole time. The moral of the story is, even though you may have given up on love, doesn't mean the right person for you isn't out there. You just have to let them come to you.

I didn't believe that I could find love because all I got through were terrible experiences. Till I did find love. I am still scared to love, but I found a person who is still with me even tho he saw my worst me on my worst days. I listened to my heart for him, over and over again. We didn’t work out, he loves me and I love him and we still never managed to make it work. We speak different languages, the day I met him, the second I saw him I thought he’s the person I wanna spend the rest of my life with. We got together and broke up, after 3 years we realised we actually were in love with each other so we gave it another go. 2 years. He broke my heart, my soul. And I broke his. Why? I’m going through a mental war between love and fear. I’m scared they are gonna leave that I’ll be broken again, but I crave that love I need to not be alone I need someone who can be there for me as I am there for them. I have all this love but no one to give it to. It’s like I could have the slightest feeling towards that person but my mind pushes them out. For me, I found unconditional love devotion and loyalty in my best friend, my dog Snoopy. He was born in my home and we shared a wonderful 10 1/2 years together. He lost his battle with cancer December 3rd of 2022 and I am shattered.
Once we're married, I'll love him as if we're still dating. Not like we're married.
Because when you get married, it all slows down. And when you're dating, it feels like it's never going to end.
