Seriously though.. the amount of solos he’s choreographed for The Dance Awards that have WON is INSANE.
I KNEW they'd be one of the best couples if not THE best couple in the show's history when I watched this routine. Because I mean how could they NOT be. It was their first time being partnered and they had so much chemistry, they made me believe I was actually watching two statues in love.

I agree and now it's 4 years later and it's even worse. I don't watch anymore. This formula worked for me and to me it really showed off their talent, diversity and challenged them.
before producers found out dance shows were huge money makers it was all about the artistry. now its all about just shooting anything and putting something on TV

Really loved the lithe poetry in the movements of this dance and how careful they were to maintain it, even into the jumps. This is the one performance I've seen that looks like it is really telling a story.
Melanie's tilt at 2:50 is INCREDIBLE!... actually she is just incredible! So inspirational!

i see people complaining about the crowd but as a dancer, performing for a quiet crowd is pretty unsettling. we'd rather know that the audience is enjoying what we're doing than have them not show us any encouragement at all. idk what the big deal is.
