True genius. How does one listen to that song and come up with such a beautiful concept and choreography? What a gift. And of course, the dancers are brilliant as well.

I watched this show and this particular piece when it went on air many years ago. During the years, I keep coming back searching for its timeless effect on me, that transcends space and form. A masterpiece!
This routine is so iconic and they both killed it ! The earlier seasons of SYTYCD were the best 🙌🏻 Jaimie is by far one of the best contemporary girls the show’s ever had
Nothing will ever top the brilliance of this coreography and music. And of course they chose the perfect dancers for the characters; they absolutely nailed it in every way. I remember seeing this 10+ years ago and still come back to watch it once in a while.

This is the BEST and most MEMORABLE routine from this show by far. I can remember the entire routine and makeup and hair/costuming 15 years later.

you do know there are Hip Hop dance routines too, and a lot of them have that "hood" vibe to it i suggest checking them out if you can

This and The Garden are two of my favorites. I still revisit seasons 2, 3, 4 and 5 routines. Recently because of Danny's passing.
