The pop, the turbo whistle (or intake not sure which) All come together nicely
Great car, if you planning to run stage two in the future I suggest you run AGG map, apparently it’s a more aggressive burble set up if you like that kind of thing, I personally turned it off on the stage 2 including the coldstart.That BM3 has so many options, cant wait for a new transmission flash program.

Oh how I wish there was a trans flash for our cars. There are some flashes for the n55, but not the n20/26.
I do have a cold start delete, but this is because I have a cat less down pipe. The cold start is needed to warm up the cats. Plus in Texas , it’s 80% warm and sunny. My car is usually fairly warm during the year. Oil, transmission fluid, brake fluids, gas, all usually fairly warm. And I start my car 10-15min before I leave for work. To make sure everything is warm.
Once u get your catless down Pipe, you can def do a cold start delete.

I was about to turn burbles off because I got gas smell really bad. Woke up this morning, saw this vid, set aggression from 9 to 1 and went for a drive. So far no more gas smell and it still sounds great. Thanks!
Okay... turns out the gas smell was from a leak in the PCV system. My catch can specifically. So it was driver error. 😄

I'm really glad I found this channel! I'm currently saving up for an 2016/2017 M Sport F30/328i and I had no idea where to start getting inspiration for the car. Truthfully, it'll probably stay stock for the first year or two (stock M Sport already looks gorgeous), but I'd love to gradually build it up over some time. First mods will probably be cosmetic such as carbon fiber (cf) front grilles, mirror cap, & rear diffuser...eventually cf front lip (Varis) and cf side skirt extensions. Not sure what wheels, but perhaps a BMW M wheel of some model (keeping it clean for now).
Anyways I look forward to more content!

Phantom word!!! I bet ! I have a 2013 328i MSport a list of mods to long to list on my phone as of now but with BM3 ...man it has an insane amount of torque. Hopefully we get that DCT sport transmission mod / software update like the M Series has (^_^)

The muffled sound an muddy sound is because your engine is asking for more air an gas.
Also delete your mufflers
Keep cold start.
if you have a stock catted downpipe it is recommended to not turn off cold starts, and to also not push the burbles too hard or else you can risk damage of the downpipe. the car sounds dope! keep up the dope vids
Blake Pokras you should be ok with the cold start delete if you allow the car to warm up.

Did the intercooler, chargepipes, turbo inlet or intake help in gaining more power? My f30 is completely stock except for the exhaust and im considering a stage 1 BM3.. Anything I should do before the tune?
Charge pipe and turbo inlet, the stock ones are prone to cracking

So I'm thinking of getting BM3 for my F31 wagon, but I have a question. Can I turn off the burbles in other settings, like comfort or eco pro? When hauling around the baby I don't want it to be as loud, but when I'm by myself I want full hooligan mode.
Yup, you can control your burble settings in various modes. I have my burbles aggressive in sport and non existent in others

What dimensions are your wheels? I want a nice fitment like that.
So you can't use MHD to add the burble? Also do you need a special exhaust or downpipe? I have a high flow catted downpipe.
I don't know anything so don't take my word for it, but for stage 1 you want to make sure you have an upgraded charge-pipe and intake. Stage 2 you want an upgraded downpipe. I'm not sure if you need an upgraded exhausted but I would consider it if you go to stage 3

I’ll be Dynoing my car on April 20th. I’m currently at Stage 2 Bootmod and rumor has it that Stage 2 will only put you at around 285-290hp on 93oct. To get over 300hp you’ll need an e30 tune but anything over 300hp on the n20/26 engine starts to get a little scary because rod bearings can blow...
Might I add. If I’m under the 300hp mark on Stage 2 I’m gonna be disappointed.

I get crazy burble and pops with muffler and resonator delete Sport and Sport + Aggression max, Speed O and Max and I opened my exhaust flaps setting for Sport and I turned speed limiter off

Im currently running the same set up as you on stage 1. When I run stage 2 how to do flash it? My buddy did the first flash for me so I'm not 100% sure. I've watched all the bm3 flash videos already but none of them show how to switch to the stage 2 map. Is it the same process? Where I put the car in accessory mode, put on seat belt, choose stage 2 & flash? lol Im a noob here haha. f30 328i n20.

you forgot to show the differences of sport and sport+
He has one big flaw in this video. When you edit "sport" in BM3, it actually correlates to comfort in the BMW. When you edit "sport+" it edits both sport, and sport + in the BMW. A lot of people miss this and BM3 should really update the names. You can test this by setting the duration to min for sport, and to max for sport+ and test yourself.
@@backyardboom2830 I realised this when I put my burble duration to 1 second in sport and 7 seconds in sport+ on a catless 440i. Then driving round in sport was like being in a gun fight
How do you get it to pop in sport mode too? I have a 2016 340i with a down pipe and bm3 stage 1, I changed to max in sport and sport+ but it will only burble in sport+ mode!

Hey man! I really love your videos I was wondering if you are anyone could help me with a problem. Ive installed the bootmod3 on my f30 and I love it but the only problem I'm running into is I can only hear the burbles when I'm in park. I've Tried adjusting the duration and aggressions as well as what speed the burbles kick in it and nothing seems to work. whenever I put my car in drive and downshift I don't hear the burbles at all.... but sounds great while stopped and park, but I'd like to hear the burbles when I downshift also please help! thanks!

I hate the pops on my car, along with the loud ass cold start. I love the MPPSK sound at full tilt and idling around but want to lose the extra theatrics off throttle. Just got an MHD adapter and catless DO though so I can tune those two issues right out 🤌🏻 I’m 35 don’t need that kind of attention.
