I got a 2016 320i and you my friend ARE FREAKING GOALS BRO!! All you do is inspire, thank you for fighting through all your tough times (whatever or where it might have been). JUST thank you man, once I am in a position where I can add my mode to my car, like the MST intake and inlet/tune/down pipe/H&R springs... YOU BEST BELIEVE my 320i is going to be a boss on the road! In case you were wondering, it's all black but I've wrapped the vbrace and the interior with red 3M vinyl.

Absolutely unreal work and passion. I have a 2016 428i with M Package and like you, I’m not wanting my car to be the fastest in the world, but I want something quick and fast enough for me. Besides these ATL streets are really bad, I wish I live back in North Charlotte where the roads are far far better. Anyway, you and I have the same mindset when it comes to our BMWs. There’s a lot I want to do. I appreciate your content and giving me some ideas while watching.

Stage 2 looks good. Waiting for warranty to end and time for stage 1 for me. :). Question on longevity in the engine. Does anyone know how much wear stage 1 or 2 does on an N20/N26? That’s my only concern. Thanks for the great video!

I have a 2014 428i stage 1 (n20) and have had no issues at all. What year are you?
Warriorheart 2013 < 31k miles, how long have you been running with stage 1? What’s your mileage?
Ryan Behan been running stage 1 for a little over a month with no problems and I’m at 40k miles. If there is one thing to be concerned about it is the timing chain. BMW extended the warranty for the timing chain to 7yrs/70k miles on my 428i so I guess that applies to all f30s. I’m pretty sure they fixed it on 2015+ but I have also heard others say the issue is overblown and is super rare.

Im thinking of selling my M140i for one as the handling and torsional rigidity difference is night and day. I had a 320i as a courtesy car and bloody loved the handling.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this, but if you finger tap/press on the value knob when customizing burble, it will show the value without changing it. Been tweaking my burble for a week now so lots of screenshots have been taken lol. Great vid as always!

After monts of having JB4 and feeling it wasn't enough, I changed to Etuners flash. I can't say I didn't notice a change but it was very small one. Now a week into BM3 and I can say for a fact BM3 is the way to go, the only reason you would use JB4 over BM3 is warranty! 3 different tunes 3 dynos, Mine is a 220i FBO and numbers where, JB4 231WHP Etuners 243WHP and BM3 CAME IN WITH HUGE 254 WHP, Getting a jordan tune soon to get pass 270 ish

Just had bootmod3 stage 2 installed , had dyno pulls the numbers are 180kw i have lost 12kw up top from jb4 192kw. Bm3 gained 20kw more from jb4 on lower revs from 0 to 4500 revs bm3 pulled harder down lower revs.
You will hear what loud is when you get an exhaust for the V8 m3.

Jonathan Glassey he had installed ambient caps that enhance the normal lights on the door. You can actually buy a whole retrofit that has to be installed. Look up “ambient lighting interior door panel trim” and you’ll see it, pretty inexpensive

PLEASE PLEASE do 0-60 mph. You like this F30 because it's newer than the M3. I had a loaner vehicle 330i 2019 and I fell in love with it, it's almost fast as my 435i with much better suspension and steering.

Go stage 2 first, let your car learn the tune for a few weeks , experience that. Then do stage 2.

Question for you, I love the sounds it makes when it shirts it's perfect but I don't like burbles when I let go of the gas can I get both so the cracks when it shifts but no burbles?
Yes, the upshift crack has no correlation with engine tuning and burbles. You can get it with a downpipe, muffler delete, or some other form of exhuast modification. You can also get the shift crack more aggressive by some transmission tuning. I recommend doing the BM3 transmission flash, then flash the Bimmercode transmission tune on top of it. That combination has got my transmission feeling perfect.

High pressure water, It’s ceramic coated so you honestly don’t need chemicals unless it’s mega dirty. If it’s dirty af I use ethos car care shampoo and detail spray. But honestly, both of my cars stay very clean.

Hey man, don't know if you'll respond but I'm learning a lot about cars since I got a nice M sport hand-me-down F22 N20, and excuse me if it's dumb, but how would you transition into fuel mixtures with the stage tuning? As long as your ratio of 93 is higher it doesn't really matter right? For example if I had half a tank of 91 Octane and switched into Stage 2 93 is there any thing to worry about there?

Yes... a lot to worry about. BM3 tunes are set to either 93, or 91 for a reason. If you fluctuate between filling with both, then you need a 91 OTS. On a 93, if you have even a slightly lower grade,, it can cause it to go into limp mode..
You also need an cored intercooler upgrade, chargepipe and hi flow dp minimum, otherwise you are asking for trouble.

Isnt still can remain to use the stock intercooler system?
