That’s awesome, on my other car which is a 2021 Volvo S 60 I can fold in the mirrors at any speed, which is really nice for Glare, on my F 56 mini Cooper I want to be able to do that, is it possible to do it at any speed?

Can you make a video on how to code Easy entry/exit? This is the feature where the driver seat slides backwards when you turn off the car making it easier to get out of the car. And go back to original position afterwards

These mechanisms should be tested and proved over thousands cycles. My old man's M340I was factory set to fold on locking. My 335d wasn't... Bummercode cam fix that!

Something that I do to fold my mirrors is to just hold the lock button for 3-4 seconds, that'll close any windows that might still be up and will fold your mirrors! Plus, they will automatically unfold when you unlock the car. Just a small trick that doesn't require any coding in case someone didn't know.
Its not their in every car.. i have a 520I 2019 model mine one dont auto fold that way.

I like the folding mirrors because it prevents people from running into them, or scraping them with their car doors (yep that happened to me before, luckily it was just paint transfer and it was removed easily)

Great Video !! After some coding today my real time MPG display was all over the place. I was using bimmercode with a veepeak reader to do simple stuff like mirrors fold when locked etc. If you have ever seen this or know how to fix it please let me know !

instead of the bluetooth OBD adapter, you can use a lightning to ethernet adapter and use the BM3 ENET cable. Bimmercode read and write will be instantaneous

Great video, Jon. I assumed this would be a list of codes for the M2 but most of these apply to all modern (F-G) BMWs. Quick question, will you leave your front turn signals amber (to match your mirrors’ sequential signals)? I swapped all my lights for 6k LED except for the sequentials...I didn’t realize those were available in white until way after I swapped them.

I could choose an animation with BimmerCode, but Drive system starts so fast, that there is no time for animation, it goes straight to the main screen. Is it possible to fit in time for animation to play?
Can you make the volume of turn signal quieter using Bemmercode? When I turn on a hazard of my Z4 E89, it became silent 8 min later. So I guessed the sound of turn signals came from a speaker in the case of BMW, although it comes from a relay switch of turn signal in a general case.
Hi Thic F30, nice video!! I hope you can help me with some coding issues as I’ve tried asking some bmw forums and contacted bimmer app developers and got no answer.
Here’s the thing, I’ve recently coded my 2014 BMW 320i (F30), and after I noticed that the daylight (white backlight) from the digital cluster disappeared or turned off, maybe due to some coding issues. Now, the only backlight on the dashboard is the orange one that comes on when I turn the headlights on.
After some research I found that maybe I can make that work using the expert mode, however I’m not really sure of which option should I change as there are so many and I’m afraid of messing up the car’s configurations.
Being that said, do you know if there is a specific coding option to make the white backlight on the dashboard to work again with the headlights off?
Notes: I know that many people try to change the dash backlist to white only, but this is a coding that I’ve not changed.

Brill. Coded a few bits today on my F36 435d. Brake force flash was already on from factory. Coded the rear DRL looks great as LCI. Folding mirror speed threshold upped a bit so I can fold when going a bit faster. Also M performance logo on the dash :)

Is there a way to turn off the ventilation completely to prevent battery drain? I once had my car at a shop for tinting windows and when I started up my car after picking it up the display was completely off. I have not figured out how they did that.
Can you code the vehicle to auto lock once you get above a certain speed? My 2015 X1 does not do that stock.

Thought I was in the clear, but went to the garage only to find that the car was off but the LED fog lights were faint and flickering. I guess recoding didn’t work. I don’t have the voltage section you described in your video, I only have a section that says LED conversion that I checked active. Any suggestions would be great

Seats are manual. I had this feature on my Genesis. The Genesis was very low and it was good that the seat moved back. The I3 is much higher and I don't miss the feature. I'm 88 and I find the I3 easy to enter and exit.

Great video! Quick question, I'm assuming that to fold mirrors on lock that you need the 'electric folding mirrors' optional extra on the car? So in my M2C I don't have the button next to the mirror controls that allows me to manually fold my mirrors, so I'm guessing I won't be able to activate folding mirrors on lock. Also is it possible to use Bimmercode to have the door handles light up when in reverse? In the UK we have many poorly lit side streets that makes parking at night a nightmare.
Correct, you’ll need electric mirrors. I coded reverse handle lights in mine 💪🏽
