    I could be wrong but I believe that when Andrew says BJJ doesn't work he is talking about street situations. His main point is that if you grapple somebody to the ground, you are pretty well caught up with that person. If his buddy's jump you while you are submitting the guy, you will get your face stomped.

      And it follows the proper combat fundamentals rule of "nothing works until it does" so you can say NOTHING at all works ever and then make it work once and then say it works then and it doesn't count as hypocrisy because that's life. Life isn't about the theoretical but about the applicable. And not the theoretically applicable either but about the personal real world applicable.

      In one-on-one situations though, BJJ is pretty much king, as far as can be seen from a variety of MMA fights. In group fights, going to the ground is a bad idea, but even then, in group fights it's best to just run - I mean there is a group of people against you, unless you're armed to the teeth, you likely aren't going to win that one.

    Andrew said he saw a few Kickboxers with aggressive style ended up with damaged brain at the age of 30'ish. That's why he prefer long range fighting style where most of the hit landed on the face and chin than the side of his head because to close & might result of brain damage in the long run.

    • @antonyslaughter

      That's Andrews's problem. I am aggressive and I take very little damage, sometimes no damage. He's not responsible with his defense so of course he blocks shots with his head. God gave you shoulders and forearms to intercept incoming strikes, if you walk forward and block/slip eventually your adversary won't have the footing to put power on his hands.

      @bendegorro754 Рік тому

      @@ChucksSEADnDEAD everyone are talented with different skill set. Coach can only train you to certain point. ISKA is not the top league, but he won twice. His style are working for him.
      Also you can't be so sure. Are you Pro ? ... are you on high level competition ? ... or so far only in sparring you get little damage. In sparring, no one actually want to kill you.
      The other thing ... Our skull are very strong, in combat, hit on the side of your head isn't that damaging than get fooked in the chin. But in the long run, your chance to become disabled retard are getting higher every time your side or rear got hit. The muscle that binding your brain parts are ripped.
      This is not conspiracy theory. Doctor have been warning people about combat sport that allow hit in the head.

      @@bendegorro754 yes and a hit to the chin does more brain damage. The reason a hit to the chin causes a knock out is it torques the brain stem and causes the brain to bounce around in your skull. A hit to the temple and a chin shot cause similar damage to your thinker

    What I've noticed from the "Tree analogy" in my experience is that a lot of times staying very tall absorbs a lot of the punches you take, as they do not have that much mass to land on, that being said it is at the expense of being off balance if the attack continues. The other side of the coin is those fighters who just bend over in a "C" shape and take every jab so hard you hand hurts and you feel bad for hitting them, haha.

      then you have to think about why a punch with gloves fucks you up so bad, and its because of the shock your brain is taking from the G forces of your skull being moved. less weight, decreasing the mass you absorb, is not going to keep your skull from whiplashing your brain, and then you're going to be off balanced, maybe fall down, and get rocked some more. there's many variables and leaning straight back like that has more cons than pros.

    and breaking rhythm. He was faster and more aggressive. But he was only able to maintain
    that for 6 minutes. His opponent was able to force the game and keep it up for 13 minutes.
    That's the difference. Jessica Andrade had better combat conditioning than prime Andrew Tate.

K1 was at the time, predominantly a Japanese org. Andrew mostly fought in England and Europe. Even Alex Pereira did not fight in K1. Does that mean he's a scrub? No. Tate being an ISKA and Enfusion champ means he's legit. Even Ernesto Hoost used to be an ISKA champ. Sure Tate isn't the highest level but to say he isn't a good kickboxer when all you know is probably UFC (not even the entire MMA) is just crazy and dumb

      @@samme79Lol, you beeing serious about comparing Ernesto to this tate claun lolololol, the Ernesto is like Jon Jones to some prelim fighter in UFC and not because he also have a lame iska belt, it's because he win the K1 tournamet multiple times which happens to be in that days like ufc today, so just stop...., also Glory was founded 2012 and Tate was still fighting, not to mention his most valid point that prove he is not a elite fighter is nothing more than his own fighting resume..., you want to say he is elite..., then your guy must have resume like Peirera, Adesanya, Doumbe, Sergei Maslobolyev you just simply don't know what you talking about#casual
