The company of Les Misérables perform at the 2014 Olivier Awards with Mastercard Ceremony hosted by Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan.
The Olivier Awards with Mastercard are not only world-renowned, they’re the most sought-after and highly regarded accolade in British theatre. The awards have always marked true theatrical greatness and celebrated excellence in the industry. However, they have not always been how we know them today.
In 1976, the Society of West End Theatre (now known as the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) created an eponymous awards ceremony to celebrate the very best performers and creatives in the West End. Among the winners were Alan Howard, Peggy Ashcroft, Penelope Keith and Jonathan Miller.
Rob Houchen and Carrie Fletcher are amazing in this!

So sad to see that this version is closing in London and being replaced by inferior and scaled-down touring version.

That's exactly what I thought! It's so sad to see the original production closing, because for me this version was just Les Mis and it was the only place in the whole world were you could still see the original production. Last year I came extra from Germany too see this version in London! I think I am going to write an E-Mail to tue queens theatre with my opinion...
It is only for about 4 months whilst the theatre is renovated then it will be back ☺

Euraiamae Mitsui it’s not closing, the original production closed and was replaced by a concert version whilst the renovated the queens into the sondheim for 16 weeks xx
