What is it about these incredible Filipino actresses who have been storming the West End for the last 20 years or so? They have such talent that I wonder if singing is in their genes!! Incredible ladies 👏👍
Art Sky funny! Eva experienced a great childhood without the world of politics bearing down on her existence. Lived in a great neighborhood surrounded by family and friends. Maybe, just maybe, she studied the role, WORKS VERY HARD on her craft. Maybe that's how she is able to do what she does.
Sarah Woolley iam from the phiillipines i will tell you why most of the people in the phillipines can sing beautifully cause most of the people in there were taught in american school of teaching i mean our school were based in american institution our collages and university is like the school in america and our second language is english cause american occupy our land in the 19 century thats why were still using our colonial way of education which is based american education system were been influence by different country but the united states is the one who most influence our country infact the phillipines is colony of the united states until we got our independence in 1945 so most filipinos knows how to speak american english and can sing better than the american thats why we can act and perform better than the american or white people
They are incredible! Looking forward to seeing her perform live @NYC soon! I don't think Sarah's question was posted as an inquiry needing an answer. I don't think it was necessary to point out that living in the Philippines is like living in the dark ages, Art Sky! But Filipinos & Asians in general do love singing karaoke as a past time, that's for sure!
Interesting to see Eva treading in Lea's footsteps - they both played Kim at only 17 and then Eponine. Will we be seeing Eva playing Fantine in a few years? She has a lot of talent and I'm sure she'll be a household name in a few years. Fantastic and emotional performance Eva :-)
Holy shit EVA FUCKING NOBLEZADA!!! That was fucking amazing, and she totally stole the show there! No wonder she was allowed to lead a legendary musical's revival after a quarter of a century at the young age of only 17. She is fucking AMAZING!!!!!!
What a phenomenal voice, Eva!!! I hope the audience realizes they were lucky enough to hear one of the best live vocal performances in the history of musical theatre - - from a 17 year old, no less!!! The entire production, honestly, is right up there with the best productions, ever, in London's West End history.
YES EVA SLAY This incredible young woman is quite possibly among the greatest Eponines of all time (Lea Salonga, Samantha Barks and Carrie Hope Fletcher) already and she hadn't even started in the show when she performed here!! So grotty and emotional and PERFECT
I wouldn't put Carrie in the same class, I like her as a stand alone singer and has the popularity factor, like Ramin he was never a great JvJ or even a Phantom.
Wow Eva did well for her First ever performance as Eponine. She hasnt even done her first show yet so she was probably super nervous doing it in a audience that is bigger than what she will be doing in the queens. So people criticising her... Bear that in mind and leave her alone!
+megangrace1405 I know. a real tough call. I rate Carrie, seen her live, mind blowing. Shes the new kid on the block. thanks for agreeing. I want her to read these and know people rate her. xxxx
Wow, Eva is and awesome Eponine, I love her acting and her voice!! One Day More is such and amazing song. And it's always breathtaking to watch! WONDERFUL!
All of Filipino Actress singer is Lea Salonga, Rachelle Ann go and This eva noblezoda! There are Amazing Filipina actress singer! I wish I want to be like them!😊
Eva Noblezada is absolutley fabulous. Unbelievably great performance as Eponine. I saw her playing Kim and she was also breathtaking! If she's not already, them she will become a huge star!
Eva is amazing and she was amazing in miss Saigon too, I do feel though... Why is that she seems to be following in Lea Salonga's footsteps step by step.. It's not a bad thing at all because this is bloody Awesome but, it's like her path is already set. Maybe she will be a Disney princess next? Now that would be cool!
Where is my husband !!! not really, that "crystal clear, pretty soprano" princess-voice has been dropped long ago. If you listened to more modern Disney princesses, their voices are a lot more diverse
Possible, but not so likely I guess? I have to agree, Every disney princess has a kind of personality to their voice, hers for me is too strong for a princess. Just my opinion though, she's very very good and talented though nonetheless. She'd do well in voicing a character, maybe just not specifically a disney princess.
It's amazing how the producers can continue to find such talent who perform as well as every cast before them. So many perfect performances over the years! They're all so wonderful!!
+Sytske Valk so true! I saw Carrie's Eponine twice and her interpretation was feisty. She did it differently but great as well. I just love Eponines who are more hurting 😝
ha???? r u sure? did u check lea's resume? check it on wikipedia coz she did so much. eva did fantine? eva only did kim and eponine, that didn't constitute as "all".
The camera loves Eva,, sooooooooo happy for her ... yassssss , see you next week (hopefully) yassssssss :) still hoping miss saigon will comeback on westend and she will still be kim
Looking forward to seeing Les Miserables (again in June) for the umpteenth time, I saw Eva in Miss Saigon and she was amazing, I strongly suspect she will be the best Eponine for many years and a very good stage career ahead of her
Considering this was before she had even started the show, it is incredible. I was at the show last night and this was her stand out song, the rest she needs to work on. But given time she will be great :)
Eva also played Kim in Miss Saigon (originally played by Lea Salonga). You guys should check it out :) I believe she has the potential to be the next Lea.
Eva Maria Noblezada was born on March 18, 1996 in San Diego, California to Filipino father, Jon, and a Mexican-American mother, Angie Noblezada.[2] She and her family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she attended the Northwest School of the Arts until she was 17.[3] Her aunt is Annette Calud, who played Celina on Sesame Street and also played Kim in Miss Saigon on Broadway
this eponine has a very distinctive voice and i love it
Ernst Uychocde Eva!

Don't we all?!!?😂😂😭😭
When they started to overlap my only thought was "poor sign language guy..."
I think we all thought that 😂
ROFL
nuel bell tick tok 4 years ago? :/
Is it a trend that if someone plays Kim, they also play Eponine and slay both roles?
I think so
Same musical writers
+Ashley Phillips Haha only the filipinas ❤️
And sometimes Fantine as well
the characters share the same age?

It's because they work their butts off to develop their skills and talents.
They are incredible! Looking forward to seeing her perform live @NYC soon!

Sarah Woolley I wanna follow their foot steps too but nah.
Holy shit EVA FUCKING NOBLEZADA!!! That was fucking amazing, and she totally stole the show there! No wonder she was allowed to lead a legendary musical's revival after a quarter of a century at the young age of only 17. She is fucking AMAZING!!!!!!
SHE'S 17!!?? SHE IS AMAZING BUT LIKE SHE HASNT EVEN GOT A DEGREE IN THEATER HOWIS SHE ABLE TO DO THIS?!!
+Charley Marie She's 20 now but she was 17 when she got the role of Kim! :)
She used to go to my school, Northwest School of the Arts
+Charley Marie she was a finalist in a nation high school theater competition. That's where she was discovered and got the role of Kim at 17 :)
+Charley Marie and no one needs a theater degree to be in theater. You need talent
What a phenomenal voice, Eva!!! I hope the audience realizes they were lucky enough to hear one of the best live vocal performances in the history of musical theatre - - from a 17 year old, no less!!! The thing that really gets me about this performance is the passion of the guy doing sign language on the side of the stage.
Had I been him I would have signed: "fuck this ... You're on your own" when they all started to overlap their singing 😂
YES EVA SLAY
This incredible young woman is quite possibly among the greatest Eponines of all time (Lea Salonga, Samantha Barks and Carrie Hope Fletcher) already and she hadn't even started in the show when she performed here!! So grotty and emotional and PERFECT

As soon as I heard her sing and saw the promotional pictures, I thought the exact same thing!! xx
+Nicole Whinnett And isn't she only about 18?
+Theatrelover99 she's 20 now! She was 18 when she was in Miss Saigon
Brooke S
Thanks! Still, twenty is still quiet young, I think your voice keeps developing until your forty, is that right, does anyone know?
That second I love him at the end.. Just that solid whisper..that was strong :)
Woah. Eva is completely phenomenal.
HOLY GUACAMOLE!!! EVA. FUCKING. NOBLEZADA.
Hot DAMN! Eva is fucking phenomenal.
I love this Eponine. She's the reason why I kept whatching it over and over again..
Wow Eva did well for her First ever performance as Eponine. She hasnt even done her first show yet so she was probably super nervous doing it in a audience that is bigger than what she will be doing in the queens. So people criticising her... Bear that in mind and leave her alone!
well said megan. would like to see those other people sing better.and too early to say anyone is better than her yet!!!!! xxxx
+jane mcfaddenmeep and also i wanna add... I would be crapping myself even more knowing that Carrie was off stage as well.
WONDERFUL!
oh my god. eva was amazing. i always loved the raw eponines and she just got it so well in my opinion. that was mindblowing!
She was my favorite Kim next to Lea Salonga. Her voice has greater passion that is palpable to listener.

Ali Ewoldt too!
what a performance from eva, i felt the hearteache. and she made my tears fall
Eva Noblezada is absolutley fabulous. Unbelievably great performance as Eponine. I saw her playing Kim and she was also breathtaking! If she's not already, them she will become a huge star!

It's not a bad thing at all because this is bloody Awesome but, it's like her path is already set. Maybe she will be a Disney princess next? Now that would be cool!
I don't think so. Disney princess require crystal clear voice like Lea Salonga. Unfortunately for Eva, she doesn't has that talent.
ua-cam.com/video/Oiu9CZyPL6o/v-deo.html
bitter na pinoy hahaha panoorin mo yang video na yan
Where is my husband !!! not really, that "crystal clear, pretty soprano" princess-voice has been dropped long ago. If you listened to more modern Disney princesses, their voices are a lot more diverse

FINALLY! A great Enjorlas - it's been a while since I've heard one like that!
Who is he? Not quite Ramin but actually had the power needed for Enjolras. Most are too wimpy.
It's Luke McCall, I saw him as Enjolras a while ago, he's amazing!
Eva is now my 2nd fave Eponine. 😍😍 Lea will always be my 1st. 😀
Sameeeee😍 oh my god I love lea❤️
Same here
Hypher Buenafe ✋✋✋
Hypher Buenafe same here😍💕
ua-cam.com/video/Oiu9CZyPL6o/v-deo.html
One more day gets me every time! I didn't know there would be a musical that could have such an impact on me!
EVA , AMAZING and so Humble as the Great actress and singer she is
It's amazing how the producers can continue to find such talent who perform as well as every cast before them. So many perfect performances over the years! They're all so wonderful!!
Just outstanding, loved Eva I know she'll kill it tonight, her first performance as eponnie is just amazing
Saw Les Mis yesterday, Queens theatre London, absolutely unbelievable !!!!!! Not to be missed.
This was fantastic. Explosive out of the gate... well done Epone, you played her so well.
An amazing performance from everyone. Eva was amazing for her first performance. So glad to see Craig Mather back as Marius!
This is the first time I've heard Eva's voice but she may be my favorite Eponine... her acting is incredible.
Wonderfully performed by Eva! I think she will portray the more vulnerable Eponine! Love it!
+Alexander Zamora I think so too! In my opinion she is more ''innocent'' than Carrie Hope Fletcher, who chose for a more fierce portrayal of Éponine.
+Sytske Valk so true! I saw Carrie's Eponine twice and her interpretation was feisty. She did it differently but great as well. I just love Eponines who are more hurting 😝
Val jeans makeup?....what the 19th century drag race is going on?
I realise it's rather late for a response - It's stage make-up, done by the performer. Film and TV make-up will be more subtile because of close-ups.
Bruce Henderson I’m aware of stage make up...I still think it’s a touch too extreme lol
IK RIGHT!
Those wrinkles didn't even line up with his eyes. They were so much lower idk if that was their intention, but it looked i little weird
her face and voice are so full of emotion.. i love her version..
HOLY COW! EVA MARIA NOBLEZADA, YOU JUST HAD THE SPOTLIGHT THE WHOLE TIME! AMAZING!
This Eponine is great! I mean, she's not Carrie (my fave) but she is so great!
HOPE FLETCHER!
same I agree
Wow! Couldn't Imagine Eva could fit this role so good when I listened to her as Kim! Amazing here!
I got goosebumps on my head
Non stop chills though all of Eva's performance. Honestly what a queen
That's probably the most truthful performance of On My Own I've seen.
try to listen the version of alienette 👍
ua-cam.com/video/Oiu9CZyPL6o/v-deo.html
7:01 Gaston was never the same after his fight with Beast
Wow! Beautiful Eponine. Brought tears to me eyes. What an emotive interpretation.
That pristine and innocent voice is such a blessing! Eva Noblezada, love yah!
Bravo!! This is so beautiful! Loved it! Eva's Eponine's totally awesome! Kudos!!
Wow. Except for 2 times hearing Natalie Toro on broadway, this was the best version of On My Own I've ever heard. Tears in my eyes. Outstanding.
Eva is playing all the roles that Lea portrayed omg
ha???? r u sure? did u check lea's resume? check it on wikipedia coz she did so much. eva did fantine? eva only did kim and eponine, that didn't constitute as "all".
+selangsia of course I know that. LOL why are you so literal? You're funny.
+selangsia eva is too young to be Fantine. Wait for few years darling.
When Valjean switched from falsetto to baritone in like half a second.... yeah, that was impressive!😯👏🏻👏🏻
I saw Les Mis in London this week, it was incredible I loved it so much
Hannah Harrison his is gonna sound really strange but do they actually act while they do they do the show or do they just sing?
Anna they act whilst singing 😂😂😂
Matt Lindon I thought so but this girl was like 'oh they just stand there' and I was really confused because it just didn't sound right😂
Anna 😂I believe what she was trying to say is that in Les Miserables, there is no dancing, most of it is just spotlight singing.
Oh my god, Eva is so good! I'm crying at how gorgeous it is.
So blessed to watch this in West End when I was in London
Eva and Craig are phenomenal!!! so effortless!!!!
I wonder what Carrie was like backstage.
+Isabelle Lightwood where was she then :p
+Isabelle Lightwood Yeah I know that, but she was actually hosting this show. Thought you knew :p
+Isabelle Lightwood she was there. She introduced Les Mis xx
+Isabelle Lightwood Yeah that is the official awards haha. I was there!xxx
Haha Eva in the background during Javert's part was cute! :)
One word........................STUNNING!!!!!
I think "wow" and "perfect" about sums it up!
The guy's head voice brought me to heaven .......... he's the singer who conducts the instrument ♥♥♥
OMGGGGG THIS IS SO M=AMAZING IVE WATCHED SO MANY TIMES AND STILL GETS TO ME AND AND MAKE ME TEAR UP LES MIS IS AN EXTRODINARY PLAY
She is so good n face expression n acting n accent so perfect.
This role has fitted her. I would remember this song as hers like that of Lea.
The tingles! I am getting the tingles all over! It is how I know my ears hear greatness.
I love this play!
Wait this is 2016 I was still in London WTF why'd I miss this? 😅
I love her Eponine!
I LOVED Bring him home!
Goosebumps anyone?
phenomenal woman
One word: gorgeous!😍
Emotions on point!
Amazing beautiful!!!!!
It give me chills
Outstanding performance!
I can hear eva's distinct voice even in the chorus part of one day more
The camera loves Eva,, sooooooooo happy for her ... yassssss , see you next week (hopefully) yassssssss :)
still hoping miss saigon will comeback on westend and she will still be kim
Oh!!! Eva is so great @@ Her emotion made me thrill!
Looking forward to seeing Les Miserables (again in June) for the umpteenth time, I saw Eva in Miss Saigon and she was amazing, I strongly suspect she will be the best Eponine for many years and a very good stage career ahead of her
Me too ;) only the second time though.
Eva seemed a bit unsure in her performane but she was probably very nervous.
@@lynnyfee What a completely dumb comment.
@@owenedwards6335
Are you ok?
She sings beautifully but I really miss the emotion that Carrie threw in her performance at the Olivier's in 2014.
Yaaas eva yaaaassss 🔥🔥
ua-cam.com/video/Oiu9CZyPL6o/v-deo.html
those gasps though
That vibrato, omg
GOSH EVA IS PERFECT
Great performance for an outdoor venue!
Eva's amazing and she hasn't even joined the cast yet! She starts tonight
Considering this was before she had even started the show, it is incredible. I was at the show last night and this was her stand out song, the rest she needs to work on. But given time she will be great :)
yeah she's following lea's footsteps. And it makes lea proud. Im happy because she worth the role. As kim and as eponine.
Another Filipino gal following in the footsteps of Lea Salonga.
BLOODY BRILLIANT!
Lol.Les Miserables is just awesome to enjoy watching when you feel so lonely in your own journey of the unknown. Lol. Been there. 💙💙💙😂🤣😂
Wonderful!
I feel so sorry for those performers having an audience with all their phones out looking at their phones and not them.
Eva also played Kim in Miss Saigon (originally played by Lea Salonga). You guys should check it out :) I believe she has the potential to be the next Lea.
It’s getting ridiculous how young these Val Jeans are.
she look like a younger version of lea salonga
ua-cam.com/video/Oiu9CZyPL6o/v-deo.html
STAR!
Watching Eva do Eponine, tears streaming down my cheeks
I luv you Eva 💜
Shes sooooo preettyyyyyyyy
best cast I've ever seen.
