Totally agree. Me too. They say never read a book by its cover. If Susan hasn't shown us how true that that is I don't know what has. Incredible talent.
When Cowell rolled his eyes at Callabro and Amanda Holden sniggered - and when they scoffed at Susan Boyle - really showed that they shouldn’t judge until they’ve heard them sing. THE most memorable audition has to belong to Susan. Ask anyone for the name of someone who’s been on BGT and they will say “Susan Boyle”. If you listen carefully, there is a hint of breathiness in the top notes where it's near the top of his range. Having said this, the song was written for someone with a very unusually high range, and props to him because I think that's the original key and not brought down a bit like others. This song is so difficult because of the clarity expected in the very top range so I think he did a fantastic job whether he was breathy or clear in the top notes.

Well...here I am again. Just finished listening to Collabro and Susan many times again. Collabro are amazing. I love the way they harmonize with each without drawing attention away from one another. Then there’s Susan....Here’s a lady who has a talent I had not heard before and neither had anyone else. She’s probably dressed in her prettiest dress and shoes without a lot of glitter. She’s probably fixed her own hair and wearing very little makeup. And what does she do? She brings the house down with her voice. No glitz except for the shining glimmer in her eyes before she begins. I don’t know where she is now but I truly hope she’s living the life she’s dreamed for. Bless her heart. There’s been many very good contestants before and after her but none have compared to her first appearance. Thank you.... again 😊
She has gone on to be a star performer in England, she brings in crowds like Streisand. There is a documentary on her. She has some mental issues. It talked about how people always called her slow. It took alot of work and courage to be where she is today. She is now a super star! And deserves it. She has totally blossomed!
She went on to tour the world, made albums that have done extremely well. She bought a house, changed her hair, has nice gowns to perform in... she was even at Balmoral to sing for Queen Elizabeth...
From her first note I had goosebumps. Susan you’ll live forever and ever. Your voice is just heaven if is coming from there , this must be it. They all been great but Susan, is magic! Thank you. Thank you. 5 boys too. Absolutely and undeniably.

The third audition with the boyband was really beautiful! They have harmony and well blended! I cried listening to them sing and they should have gotten the golden ticket!
They won Britain’s Got Talent & have been the opening act for superstar Barry Manilow!!
I had shivers throughout my body...beautiful voices...
@@deannebenkert6700 i did not know, but they deserve it!! thanks for share!
@@deannebenkert6700 Wonderful. These fellows deserve success.
They all should have. Maybe they didn't have that back then?
I just want to say thank you for putting Susan Boyle in this! I heard her singing in the background after a few of the other singers were finished and I thought, I need to go watch her again, and then there she was at the end. Perfect!
Beautiful! There are so many singers who PELT out the music. It is a special singer who can bring tears with a quiet, heart-felt rendition of a song carried through the words, melody and heart! Love this!
The song Bring Him Home was wonderfully done. His brother seemed like he understood and smiled and hearing the sound of his voice. The five young men were outstanding. I didn't think so many people would use Les Mis as a song choice but it turned out beautifully all around. Thank you.

Hello
Hello how are you my name is Daniel from salt lake city Utah
What is your name and where are you from
Hello
Susan Boyle shocked everyone! I remember the first time I heard her on AGT. Still the BEST! Well done.
BGT first tho - lucky us!
I've seen Susan's audition hundreds of times and it still brings me to tear up.
Today, I've heard other wonderful auditions and I'm really, really crying my eyes out. The five boys were astonishing. They put me to pray.
Thank you so much for posting this. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Susan Boyle's audition never gets old for me! I can watch it a million times and still love it! Bless her!
No one could ever beat the excitement and the wonder and the biggest shock ever in a singing competition, more than Susan Boyle. She was a huge sensational on the internet.
The first guy was so good everyone went completely silent the whole time just to hear the whole song.
Glad to see that Simon gave him the constructive feedback he wanted
and his face remain me Che Chesterman
Love Alexes voice
The first guy is nowhere near good lmao. His rendition of bring him home was so bad. Go listen to colm wilkinson or alfie boe singing it

I never get tired of watching the Susan Boyle audition.
Totally agree. Me too. They say never read a book by its cover. If Susan hasn't shown us how true that that is I don't know what has. Incredible talent.
No disrespect meant for Ms Page but Susan gave her a good run with this performance.
Susan Boyle audition almost always makes me cry. Even when I have watched it over 200x. My first time seeing Calabro ...now I have to look them up.
Short and sweet.. they were ALL FANTASTIC!! I cried through every performance. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful voices with the world! ♥️
😂
When Cowell rolled his eyes at Callabro and Amanda Holden sniggered - and when they scoffed at Susan Boyle - really showed that they shouldn’t judge until they’ve heard them sing. THE most memorable audition has to belong to Susan. Ask anyone for the name of someone who’s been on BGT and they will say “Susan Boyle”. She didn’t even win it but has been by far the most successful. ❤️
Remember too Paul Potts and Jonathan Atoine, both of whom were met with negative vibes until they started singing. Both went on to become international stars.
@@DD-wd7ku : Good memory! Paul Potts was unforgettable, but I'd forgotten Jonathan Atoine blew me away more than any male Got Talent I've ever seen. I also love twinkle-eyed elfin Celt glass-shattering counter-tenor with the nice baritone, Greg Pritchard. And Gothic young Andrew De Leon.
Alex your audition still brings chills to me. Such raw emotion. Well done.
So many thanks to the people caring for the guy's brother who is stuck in his body. Such love and caring.
Alex wasn't auditioning, he was giving a master class in theater singing and showmanship/stage presence!
I always love it when Simon's eyebrows go up within the first 8 notes, that generally means he is not hearing what he expected to hear. Then comes the small smile, you know he is sold on the person auditioning. Then you have the songs that bring simon to tears....
I love how Susan Boyle blew a kiss to the audience as she exited the stage. We all witnessed the beginning of a new beginnings for Susan and the birth of a great singing career. Bravo!
And the 'boy band' ... they were simply phenomenal! Encore! Encore!
Susan Boyle’s performance still gives me goosebumps & a big smile after all these years. Good on her.
Mickey song this musical with such heart felt. Beautifully done! 'm sure his grandma in the audience was very proud.👍🙏
all these auditions were absolutely awesome loved each and every one of them
Hello Deborah
First guy’s voice s incredibly soothing to d ears 👂👍👍👍👏👏👏
A fabulous show....multiple talented people!! Loved the audience support.
Susan Boyle's audition still gives me goosebumps!
I have a pet goose and listening to her gives it people bumps.
I never get tired of hearing Susan Boyle sing I Dreamed a Dream. Her voice just soars and takes us all with her.
Love how absolutely exquisite these voices are....finally people see that talent is about heart and interpretation...as well as musicality. Many "singers" rely on other things such as being entertaining and wardrobe..
This young man touched my heart, his voice brought me to tears! Beautifully from the heart!
Thanks for putting up these auditions together. now I can watch them everytime .. i had to look up for them from time to time just to see them again .. they are all so good. Both the songs and all the singers .. fantastic.
I sung in front of my mom for the very first time, while we were in Ireland! There was a gentleman in the audience at the bar in our hotel, who totally impressed my mom.. he said "brilliant, that was brilliant!". Now I'm definitely more touched at the British "feeling" about that word... because that's all my mom could say. Great memory!
I copy the Brits saying "brilliant" and "rubbish."
Loved seeing a collection of Les Mis selections from various auditions for BGT. All totally heartstrings pulling .
Everybody should see Les Miserable. Most perfect show live.
Saw it at Clowes Hall in Indianapolis Indiana about 25 years ago! Fabulous!!!
I believe that Phantom and Les Mis are the two greatest Broadway shows of all time !
看了25周年的录像,惊呆了!太棒。
Just saw it today in Toronto. Have seen it twice, in 90's with Micheal Burgess and today. Absolutely brilliant.
@@TiVoMan66……couldn’t agree more! I’ve seen ‘P o t O’ 12 times’, & ‘L M’ 14 times’. The live productions’ are more thrilling, than their movies’, imho………
Absolutely stunning! Simon was wrong about Alex, the purity of ALL his notes was amazing! Outstanding!!
The reason why Simon criticize him is to big himself up
Simon might be a good judge but he is only human.
Simon always finds fault. Just for him to let everyone think he’s got a keen sense of what’s right. A great pretender! 🙄
@@bookgirl1 That is not the original key. Alex sang it higher. He has an amazing voice, but I was thinking the same thing as Simon the entire time I was listening to him sing.
8 years and I still get CHILLS WHEN I HEAR THEIR AUDITION! This winter is their farewell tour!
Oh my gosh. I must get tickets. I love them
Why farewell tour...are they breaking up as a group. If so, that is sad news.
@@leotachaney7322 yes they are going onto other things. There is a clip up on their channel on UA-cam
I could…..and did…..watch this a thousand times or more!! One fantastic performance after another!! KUDOS to all who poured their heart and soul with each song!

Susan’s audition still makes me cry…..she is really amazing!
All those singers were great but I need to encourage those emcees who seem like terrific human beings with lots of heart. Thank you!!!
Susan Boyle makes me cry everytime...the passion and courage is beautiful.🙏👏💜
Susan’s audition is the best audition ever on any talent show. She has one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard.
OhMyGOD, this brought tears to my eyes. Such an outstanding voice. This was an excellent audition. I hope he continues.
Which one? There are several in this video.
Can never get over the magnificent voice of Susan Boyle, brings me to tears every time🌹
Mark took the song home. Blessings to Mark and his family ❤️
Susan Boyle did a beautiful job singing " I Dream a Dream " I love that song ,. Les Miserables is my favorite musical. I had tears in my eyes when she sang that beautiful song .
Yes, me too, in Cape Town South Africa, I cannot forget her audition! Goosebumps and hold back the tears.
As a mother myself, I can relate to the heart this song from Les Miserable. Just raised HUGE goosebumps on top of goosebumps all over me, young man! *Well done, son, well done!!*
Years have gone by since that audition, and I’ve seen it over and over again. And it still reduces me to a blubbering mess every time!
“Bring Him Home” is one of my favorites from Les Mis. Alex & Mickey were AWESOME!!!!!
My to ,, so nice and AMEZING song 🌹🌹🌹
I have goosebumps from this first singer. A gift from God.❤️🤗
Oh, but the young men together for but a month! Pure Heaven!
Colabro and Susan Boyle unforgottable
I Never ever get tired of watching Susan's Audition gives me and I'm sure a lot of other people Hope and Faith in Humanity this Audition and Susan will live on as A Beautiful Moment in Time baci x
Mickey singing Bring Him Home blew me away. A true countertenor!
I’d love to see a group do One More Day from Les Miz.
Brilliant, brilliant!! The group was magnificent!! I could listen to then for hours and hours. How come they didn’t win?
They did in 2014
Yep, they won it all! This is a compilation of Les Miserables songs, not the actual competitions they were each in...
Susan Boyle,
This video of her audition never gets old.
OMG the first one young man was incredible. Had me in tears. Bring him home is such a beautiful song.
I loved the 5 guys. They were so good together and that in only a month. Definitely chemistry as he said. It just worked.
I never ever get tired of Susan Boyle's audition. It was insult to her when they said everyone was against her. I loved that she definitely proved them all wrong.
Absolutely Brilliant auditions loved all of them ❤ thank you for sharing
Collabro has always been my favorite from the very first appearance and still is even after the one left the group!
I believe (sorry if I'm wrong)they won in 2014; I was blown away by them, too, even before I knew who they were..
They're doing their farewell tour this year 😕
Why the one left the group?
@@tellyoca3328
The others wanted to kick him out. He over heared it, and left....
Richard (the one who left) wanted to pursue a solo career, and has been successful on his own.
Oh my, Alex nailed it perfectly! Stunning voice! Best of luck to you.❤️❤️💯☺️👍
Well...here I am again.
Susan is the best. I cry every time she sings❤❤❤ Stay Well. You're a Champ 🏆🏆🏆❤❤❤😊😊
When I taught at our middle school church program, I would play them Susan's audition. What a lesson they got in not judging a book by its cover. . .still moves me. Still brings tears to my eyes. I need to get her album back out. Her voice is special.
Stephanie, how great to show Susan Boyle's audition to young people v. this tech-magnified awful mocking cult-ure. I kept Susan Boyle's inspirational "Hope" CD and Victorian "Christmas Candle" movie DVD; and her "Home For Christmas" CD ♥
I can’t stop watching this act over and over They are wonderful 🎉
I love how you can practically see the £ signs in Simon's eyes when Susan starts singing.
Amanda Holden must be genuinely one of the nicest and most sincere people on television. I love the look of sheer delight she gets on her face when someone impresses or surprises her.
And has a lovely voice herself.
Indeed. Love her duet with Sheridan Smith.@@tomvance8522
Beautiful outside of the commercial trash that has taken over the musical world
Saw this and I started crying..its still making me emotional..its like you hear the angels singing with her..❤❤❤
I’ve seen this sooo many times and it still makes me cry. DEFINITELY the most wonderful audition EVER !!!
I could watch Colabro’s audition 1,000 times and never get tired of watching Simon’s eye roll and smirk turn into astonishment the minute they start to sing! They are amazing!
