29 inch scale baritone 6 string can go lower than an 8string 😂
Buster has explained in older playthroughs that he is left handed, but learnt how to play on a flipped right handed guitar as a child! Just adds to the unsettling mood, haha.
I would suggest either one of the other 2 tracks for the new album coming February 2021, Tide is my personal favorite of the 3, Earthless is second and Vittring is 3rd, but they are all super good tracks, I would definitely recommend the other 2 either for a video or on your own time. Also a lot of the members in this band are also part of Vildhjarta and they also make this down tempo deathcore type of music, nick named Thall, and I'm not super informed on them but of the few tracks I've heard, they're also good.
It's a custom six string with a long scale length and thick gauge strings. It's basically no different than an 8 string without the top 2 strings. Buster tunes to drop E on the low string (EBEAAbA), and uses a pitch shift pedal when going lower than drop E at points. He does the extreme highs with the pitch shift pedal as well. The pedal is next to him in the video. When you see the bottom light come on, it's pitched down, and pitched up when the top light comes on, via automation.
He’s tuned to Golden Gate Bridge
😂😂😂
So cool how Buster learned to play right-handed guitars upside down as a lefty. Now he’s conditioned to the strings inverted. Crazy. I’m a lefty guitarist for 25 years and I just couldn’t do the Hendrix style. Buster uses a Digitech Drop Whammy pedal Midi-triggered. I use a Digitech Drop in my setup and it’s Thall paradise on a 6-string.
For real! When I played my very first show this guy in the band before mine broke his string and asked if he could use mine cuz we were both in drop C. He just flipped it over and blew my whole bands minds away 😱
Drop E with dissonant high strings
A

The beginning part was pitched down a whole octave
Later in the song, it tunes down 3 semitones to Drop C#

Yeses. Buster plays inverted learned to play on a righty flipped over lol Pulsating Black, Fradga, Abyssal Mouth next
They use a digital whammy bar to pitch shift

Just to be clear the lowest string is E? Or A?
@@TheGhostNotePodcast he uses a midi controlled Whammy (you can see it in front of the amp flicking it's lights all the time) to get both the deep C0 notes and those screechy sick sounds eheh
@@TheGhostNotePodcast Low is E
