I don't watch Sponge Bob, I didn't know there was more than one Robin, and I haven't even seen all of the Batman movies (or Joker with Joaquin Phoenix for that matter). The other two are Red Hood (with the Red helmet) who is Jason Todd, when he was the current Robin at the time, he was killed by The Joker, and later revived by Bruce with the Lazarus Pit. The other guy is Night Wing, that is THE ORIGINAL Robin, yes, you've guessed it! It's Dick Grayson as an adult!!! There's The Current Ribin who is Bruce's and Takia AL Ghul's son, Damian Wayne. And lastly there's Tim Drake, the previous Robin before Damian, who is now Red Robin.

The song "Awaken" by Dethklock is from the show "Metalocalypse" season 1 episode 4. The best way to start the show in my opinion. The band is trying to apologize for things that happened during their last visit to Finland. So they wrote them a new national anthem. "And we took the lyrics straight from your book of necronomic spells." Guess what happens.
Kids see so much worse than this daily. When I was little I remember watching South Park and Celebrity Death Match and I turned out… that’s not the point.
Of that green pool with Ariel and the old guy was a "Lazarus" pit. The comics way of resurrecting dead people. The guy was Ras al Ghul. A bad guy obviously macking on Ariel.
I doubt women were the primary audience for this one. It's mostly fan service for males. Not that there aren't some women who might enjoy it very much. Sometimes, things aren't meant to be taken too seriously and are really just for fun.
The Jokers at the end were: - Jack Nicholson (from the 1989 Batman movie) - Jared Leto (from the Suicide Squad and Snyder's Justice League) - Heath Ledger (from the Dark Knight Trilogy) - Cesar Romero (from the 1966 Batman series) - Cameron Monaghan (from the Gotham series) The other two are the Joker from the 2004 The Batman animated series (the one with red eyes), and the Joker from the comics Death in the Family (the one wearing his face as a mask)
These are all songs from a cartoon called "Metalocalypse" and it probably started as some joke that the show should be canon to the DC universe because of all the stuff that happens in it.
The insane thing is that those songs existed long before these guys decited to do the Batman themed cartoons to it. They had nothing to do with Batman 😄
My favorite moment in this whole set of vids is in Batmetal Returns. When they start fighting you can see Robin having a slap fight with the Little Sister on top of the Big Daddy. Cracks me up everytime. Ariel was hangout out with Ra'sAl Ghul in a Lazerus pit. So, yeah, they killed her, but she didn't stay dead.
Long post: Robin's grow up. The robin you know grew up and Dick Grayson is the guy in blue who calls himself Nightwing because he and Bruce Wayne hated each other and he decided to get as far away from the "boy" wonder as possible. Then Alfred made them reconcile. Batman went solo for a while but without a kid tends to get darker and more violent. The second Robin was killed then a few years later was comic book resurrected and came back as the Red Hood, who thinks Batman should kill. (Batman doesn't because he knows he won't stop - "21 in a school zone? I have to kill you for the good of humanity." oh, his no kill rule is only for humans.)
Yeah, a lot of people don't get that about Bruce's "no killing" rule. "How many people did he kill by letting the Joker live?" Probably fewer than he'd have killed if he didn't stop himself from ever starting. Bruce is unstable - and he _knows_ this.
Yes, as I said, I don't know much about super heroes, marvel vs DC etc. I'm a stay at home mum with 3 home schooled kids and this channel to run as well... not a lot of time spent on all of the ins and outs of cartoon characters 😉
@@MrsRealistic Oh I hear you. A lot of those references was known as a kid and not as much as an adult though. The same for other UA-camrs who react to these type of content. So my assumption is less on the stay home parent aspect and more of the you never grew up with that content as a kid. Just my perspective. Keep up the good work though.
The opening song to Batmetal Forever is "My Name is Murder" by Brendan Small, creator of Metalocalypse and Dethklok. He also has an album called Galaktikon and Galaktikon II. Definitely worth checking out. Brendan is both the vocalist for Dethklok and voice actor of Nathan Explosion.
This entire trilogy is filled with so many references and easter eggs, its incredible. Lots of pop culture, comic book, video game, and metal references hidden in each frame. The Shampoo bottles on the bathtub being Batman villains is just one small example.
@@MrsRealistic No issues, they're very easy to miss for people without much comic knowledge (also, you need to ACTIVELY watch it frame by frame just to catch some of the easter eggs). I think I posted a comment on all 3 videos a couple years ago, detailing every easter egg and reference I noticed.

As are most of the "children stories" in their original versions. Still remember first time learning about the original version of Sleeping Beauty. Let's just say the awakening process it's closer to Kill Bill than Disney version.
We have seen Courage the Cowardly Dog and we are fine. Courage is the best show of HORROR PARODY and it will scare the shit out of kids but we still saw them and enjoyed them. We also had HIM from powerpuff girls who had 2 voices and wore whatever he wanted. HIS INFERNAL MAJESTY wore a skirt and we never questioned why he was like a lady but more of why he was that scary

as a former kid, i was so good at my job that i still act like a kid sometimes, when i was a kid i watched this cartoon, it honestly wasn't even the darkest thing i'd seen that day, i turned out fine.

The guitarist with the blue and black costume is called Nightwing, he was the first Robin. The bassist with the red helmet is Redhood, he was Batman’s second Robin. The guitarist with the red costume, black hood and yellow emblem on his chest is Red Robin, Batman’s third Robin but is now his own hero. The last Robin is Batman’s son.

And it seems Ariel cannot be killed so easily, she began regenerating as soon as Batman removed the stone from her face. As for Batmetal Forever, she is just chilling in the Lazarus Pits with Ra's al Ghul. The Pits can restore life of the dying and prolong life. So, multiple explanations could be true. Yes, i'm overexplaining a funny-stupid music video...*sigh*....sorry. :D
I see you didn't process what was happening in the second song. Ariel with the other sea creatures were violently and brutally torturing Aquaman, so she had it coming. Dethlok are the actual people the music is from, they have a animated show. The Batmetal guys just did a different animation to go with their songs. Yes Ariel died, that is the Lazarus pit, basically you can live forever with it as long as you are returned to it. Batgirl undressing basically, the guy in front was her father.

If you saw the Christopher Nolan batman trilogy back in the day, she was the female antagonist. In the bathtub scene, "HQ" stands for Harley Quinn, the character that Margot Robbie plays in the Suicide Squad movies. The guys in the truck at the beginning of the third video are the fictional band Dethklok from the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse. All of the songs used in the Batmetal videos are pulled from the show's soundtrack. Yes, they did kill Ariel. The joke there is that the dude she's smooching is Ra's al Ghul, Liam Neeson's character from Batman Begins. They don't really touch on it in the film, but in the comics, he's several hundred years old and basically resets his body by bathing in Lazarus Pits, which is what that stuff that looked like acid was. That's why he tossed Joker's body into it, hoping it would revive him.

Ariel was alive again cause of that green pool she was in, its called the Lazarus pit and can extend a persons life with continued use, or bring them back from the dead, but in that case there are side effects, temporay insanity aswell as inhuman strength that fades if you stop using the Pool, and sometimes a person "comes back wrong" for example theyre not exactly insane but theyre unable to feel remorse and can kill without emotion, basically it can make them into a psycopath, but it seemingly has an opposite effect depending on the person, cause one time it actually temporarily cured someone who was already insane

These are all songs from a cartoon called "Metalocalypse" and it probably started as some joke that the show should be canon to the DC universe because of all the stuff that happens in it.

My favorite moment in this whole set of vids is in Batmetal Returns. When they start fighting you can see Robin having a slap fight with the Little Sister on top of the Big Daddy. Cracks me up everytime.
Ariel was hangout out with Ra'sAl Ghul in a Lazerus pit. So, yeah, they killed her, but she didn't stay dead.
Long post: Robin's grow up. The robin you know grew up and Dick Grayson is the guy in blue who calls himself Nightwing because he and Bruce Wayne hated each other and he decided to get as far away from the "boy" wonder as possible. Then Alfred made them reconcile. Batman went solo for a while but without a kid tends to get darker and more violent. The second Robin was killed then a few years later was comic book resurrected and came back as the Red Hood, who thinks Batman should kill. (Batman doesn't because he knows he won't stop - "21 in a school zone? I have to kill you for the good of humanity." oh, his no kill rule is only for humans.)
Yeah, a lot of people don't get that about Bruce's "no killing" rule. "How many people did he kill by letting the Joker live?" Probably fewer than he'd have killed if he didn't stop himself from ever starting. Bruce is unstable - and he _knows_ this.
And to add to the og post, the Robin on the drums is his actual son, Damian Wayne.

So my assumption is less on the stay home parent aspect and more of the you never grew up with that content as a kid. Just my perspective. Keep up the good work though.

The opening song to Batmetal Forever is "My Name is Murder" by Brendan Small, creator of Metalocalypse and Dethklok. He also has an album called Galaktikon and Galaktikon II. Definitely worth checking out. Brendan is both the vocalist for Dethklok and voice actor of Nathan Explosion.
This entire trilogy is filled with so many references and easter eggs, its incredible. Lots of pop culture, comic book, video game, and metal references hidden in each frame.
The Shampoo bottles on the bathtub being Batman villains is just one small example.

As for Batmetal Forever, she is just chilling in the Lazarus Pits with Ra's al Ghul. The Pits can restore life of the dying and prolong life. So, multiple explanations could be true. All of the people in the band were former Robins. In the guy in the black and blue outfit is Nightwing, (Dick Grayson) who was the very first Robin. Once he got old enough to strike out on his own, he switched his Superhero alias. The guy with the red helmet is Red Hood (Jason Todd), the second Robin. He was murdered by the Joker and then years later he came back because of typical comic book shenanigans. The one in the weird red and black costume is Red Robin (Time Drake), who's the third Robin. His story's too long to go into, but at the end of the day, DC decided to basically push him out so they could bring in the fourth and current Robin, Damien Wayne, who's Batman's illegitimate son with Talia al Ghul. If you saw the Christopher Nolan batman trilogy back in the day, she was the female antagonist.
In the bathtub scene, "HQ" stands for Harley Quinn, the character that Margot Robbie plays in the Suicide Squad movies.
The guys in the truck at the beginning of the third video are the fictional band Dethklok from the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse. All of the songs used in the Batmetal videos are pulled from the show's soundtrack.
Yes, they did kill Ariel. The joke there is that the dude she's smooching is Ra's al Ghul, Liam Neeson's character from Batman Begins. They don't really touch on it in the film, but in the comics, he's several hundred years old and basically resets his body by bathing in Lazarus Pits, which is what that stuff that looked like acid was. That's why he tossed Joker's body into it, hoping it would revive him.

Ariel was alive again cause of that green pool she was in, its called the Lazarus pit and can extend a persons life with continued use, or bring them back from the dead, but in that case there are side effects, temporay insanity aswell as inhuman strength that fades if you stop using the Pool, and sometimes a person "comes back wrong" for example theyre not exactly insane but theyre unable to feel remorse and can kill without emotion, basically it can make them into a psycopath, but it seemingly has an opposite effect depending on the person, cause one time it actually temporarily cured someone who was already insane
