If you have real Pirarucu boots you know exactly how delicate these beautiful boots are and i would not recommend using a big brush rather a tooth brush if you happen to have any dirt or grime!
My thoughts too. Those are printed fish boots. Fake
I have some real pirarucu and got them all covered in mud. I know they will be damaged but any recommendations on how to clean the mud off properly?

My piraruco boots the scales come up. These are just flat
not that they’re fake, it’s just print, then there’s genuine skin. if they’re $230 & below then they’re print and $399 & above they’re genuine fish skin

I have a real pair of panhandle slim real anteater boots I love them and only use bickmore leather cleaner and conditioner on them.
Chocolate anteater stamped by the bootmaker on the inside shaft and I have saved the original box that it came with. Bought them before they became an endangered species, paid $450.00.....

you can always know by the price!! if you paid less then $150, 140 they will be print! if they are 500+ then they will be genuine..

Bickmore leather cleaner and conditioner does not change the color of the boots or leather safe to use on white leather.
Anyone that would use a nylon tooth brush to clean a boot has not idea of what damages the nylon brush does to the skin!!!!

I have a pair of old gringo boots that have already been scuffed despite me being as careful as possible after cleaning and adding protective spray. Is there anyway to buff the scuffs out of fix it to make it less noticeable?
Probably dye or paint only .. yea exotics are nice but also delicate

You can, I use them on mine to hydrate the skin!
I only use bickmore leather cleaner and conditioner,, don't use a brush a soft rag.
I have 36 pairs of hand made and custom boots. And I still have my first pair that I bought in 1975 Tony lama elk skin chocolate they have been resoled 4 times.
do you use the Bick 4 on the big bass? Ive always used their exotic for my gators and snakes, just got a pair of bass...
@@westleylarsen5877 I use the Bickmore exotic conditioner on my Pirarucu they are nut brown almost tan and if it changed the color it would have been barely because I can't notice. Works great.

The real ones look like pineapple skin you can feel it the fake ones are printed on the boot I have 2 pair of the real ones

Those weren't real boots. Yours probably are.
Horsehair brush and Bickmore exotic conditioner and cleaner. I dust them with the big brush then use a polish applicator horsehair brush to massage and make sure the conditioner is evenly distributed and get some under where the scales went into the skin. You can wipe off excess with a soft cloth or just spray enough to where it doesn't need to be wiped off.
why does your fish boots look more tuff than mine? my old gringo boots seem more soft
