I truly love the product and the tips for how to do art. I wasn't confidence at first to do it , now I feel I've learn enough to go for it . Thanks so much for sharing
Beautiful! I was already planning on using this product for my basement, garage and countertops. Now, since I am an artist I will be making some cool art pieces.
Fyi, if you add more clear resin over the top of the colored resin, you risk diluting your colors - especially if you use a lot of heat and powdered colors.. You should add more pigments to the clear resin so it doesn't dilute so easy. Just some friendly advice from a couple of resin artists.
I’ve used resin for few years to cast Hunting call blanks but now doing turnings with wood burls only thing to limit you is your imagination! Now more guys like your self sure has been helping get the resin materials price going down some your project turned out so cool thanks for posting ..
You mean to tell me when I was was painting the peak of my home and the 1gallon of paint fell from some 30 odd feet and hit the ground that was my Masterpiece? Could you explain that to my wife! She just cant understand art

I love that you have different color pigments. My favorite color is purple and I have been contemplating doing my countertops for a while. I watch your videos and it looks simple enough but I’m just a little paranoid cuz I’ve never taken on a DIY this size. I’m very artsy crafty so I feel as though I can do it. I think I’m just going to bite the bullet this spring and do it. I live on a strict budget and doing it myself would save $$. I’ll be studying your videos until Spring. Hopefully they come out as beautiful as your sample ones do.
We made the process for DIY'ers through our tutorial videos on our website that show you step by step the process. You can contact our techs at 844-534-4274 ext. 1 if you ever have any install questions. Thanks
Loved it loved it loved it. That would make an awesome piece of art work or an excellent accent table with some work of course wood frame and all that. I'm just looking for ways to enhance my talents. Thank you so much
May I ask, are you using straight acrylic paints mixed with a medium, of so what is the rating of paint to medium, and also what temperature is the blow dryer on? Thank you.
I noticed your question was 2 years ago and no one ever answered it. Now I have the same question...if you now know, please help by answering. Lol Much appreciated.

@@burnokdelacruz1548 I did my counters earlier in 2019. Price was around $600. Turned out fabulous. I actually had to do a lot of sanding because I had open doors and kids running through the house. Love my cabinets and when people see them they don't think I did them. 72 year old female. I did them with the roller method, wished I had use the blow dryer but have to work faster with larger cabinets
What kind of paint is being used for background and colors? I know nothing about epoxies. Can I just use straight acrylic paint for background and colors?
That's neat. Before you blended with the hair dryer it was reminding me of a pair of sunglasses I had back in the 80's. :p I miss those paint splattered sunglasses. - Heidi
It's wood! And he used a water based paint! You'd need to let it fully dry if going that route. He only used paint because it was a smaller art piece. If doing a countertop you'd want to use primer. Primer comes in our countertop kits!
We first laid a clear coat of epoxy and then we mixed pigmented epoxy into that! This means that in each cup of color, we mixed our metallic epoxy with our Leggari Art metallic pigments, and then poured that over the clear epoxy spread on the board.
Very cool! I've never worked with epoxy before. Am I right in thinking the product self-leveled while setting up? Looked much smoother at the end of the video.
Yeah it's a really thick liquid, idk the set time on this resin but for the most part it'll settle on it's own. You may have to sand it to make it completely smooth when it hardens
Beautiful! I'm new to epoxy, prepping to resurface my 16 year old desk and I love this simplified technique without the need of unnecessary sanding!!
Can you please share how you mix the resin with the colors?
Yes, we agree, reference this video for mixing instructions! ua-cam.com/video/H2f-ayPii-U/v-deo.html

I did this with spray paint and glow in the dark pigment. The glow in the dark really makes it pop. This was my second project and I love it.
Post a pic of the glow in the dark!
I have no idea of how to post a picture here. I've tried finding out how for 20 minutes and I am at a loss.

What is the flash time on the clear coat? How long do you have essentially to add color and create?
In my experience it depends on the brand but usually around 40 minutes. But by adding pigments you can speed up the cure time too.
This is beautiful!! Hank you for the demonstration!
You're welcome, and thanks for watching the video
Well done! 👏
did you add hardener to the epoxy
I'd like to see one using the colors of plum black cherry n a hint of gold. Maybe on a black base.

Do you mix the Colors with the Epoxy before pouring or do you just pour the Color on top?
We first laid a clear coat of epoxy and then we mixed pigmented epoxy into that! This means that in each cup of color, we mixed our metallic epoxy with our Leggari Art metallic pigments, and then poured that over the clear epoxy spread on the board.
Do you wait for the clear coat of epoxy to dry ? Or just pour over it and mix it wet
do you torch to release air bubbles?
He used blower at heat settings, we can also use heat gun too
Very nice😁

Whats the difference between this art epoxy and the regular metallic epoxy? I dont see the art one on their website.
I'd tilt the dryer on an angle in places you will get more movement than straight on the product. It's still very beautiful
Amazing! Thanks Tylor!
Thanks for watching the video
Does it need heatgun 🤔🤔
Really loving the direction you guys are heading in. Gorgeous love ❤️
Thanks Angela for the wonderful comment.
What kind of wood are you using and how big is that board?
