- Today we paint an abstract picture again, this time with an egg carton. With this simple fluid painting technique you can create fascinating works of art. Try it out and you will quickly get impressive pictures!
How to paint a picture with an egg box:
What you need is an empty egg carton and liquid acrylic paint (you can find an explanatory step-by-step video in my channel)
Very important, with this painting technique, the color has to be left for 24 hours after mixing, since most of the air bubbles escape. Too many air bubbles would ruin the picture.
So that the bright canvas does not shimmer through later, I painted it black, the rest of the black color is roughly distributed on the canvas so that the egg carton color flows better.
I didn't use silicone oil because I don't want any cells in the picture.

This is the type of abstract art that ACTUALLY makes sense. Not that random emotion-filled random splattering of paint cus you have no idea what to make.
This type of art exploits the amazing properties of fluid dynamics and the amazing patterns that come out when you add just a little bit of chaos to a fluid. You get these amazing marbles and fractals.
That music makes me feel like we're saving the world via egg carton painting.

People talking about paint on the arms when they're wearing gloves, but it's easy to get paint off your arms and a completely different story trying to get it out from under your nails.
Yeah that’s true, it’s a pain to try and get it from under your nails.
I use liquid Solvol and a toothbrush..the tiny gritty bits soon shift the paint😊
@@charholmes6760 I have to wear gloves. Not worth the effort getting paint out of your nails & cuticles. As for paint on the arms, use 'Mr. Clean Magic Eraser' 1st swipe & paint is all gone. You don't have to rub. Actually, dont rub. MCME is stronger then you think.

Wow i envy you people.......how you can pour paint and explore your talents. Paints are soo costly and think every time I see a pour painting video i could keep a cup underneeth and re use the paint! Good work done the painting had come out well. You are blessed!
Some artists use the dripped paint (after its dried) to make smaller artwork like jewelry.

nah. none of this shit actually takes ANY actual skills in art. cmon man, he's dumping paint out of a fuckin egg carton. that alone says enough. this is called wasting materials.
It's not that difficult. It's one of the easiest videos I've seen. If you can liquid pour, you can do this! I'm going to give it a go. (You don't want it to look exactly like this one anyway. You need to make it your own...choose your favorite colors, etc. Take your time & don't get frustrated if it doesn't look like this one. Art is interpretive, & each artist brings something different to the table. 😁👍
@@GDubbleBubble right, I don't get the appeal. It looks cool, yes, but it doesn't represent anything but something cool to look at. Anyone can do this and many more people do this cheap painting than actually paint with brushes. The artist has no purpose or skill involved in the creation process; it waters downtthe art's significance.🐉
