Thank you! I have never been able to keep a Pachira alive...I've been trying to learn from my mistakes! I have two now that I am trying to keep growing!!!
I hope they will be fine, Marcia. When you repot them, there is a rubber band holding the stems together. It's better to remove it, as it doesn't let the stems grow normally.
My plant produce tiny droplets on the leaves, almost like it’s sweating. Is this normal? Otherwise it looks very happy and is putting on a lot of new growth!
It's ok, it just means you water too much and it gets rid of the excess of water that way. Many plants do so. This also means that there is a risk of overwatering. :) Maybe water it less
I'm very new to the planting and my first plant is Pachira and I mistakenly put my pachira in direct sunlight and it got sun burn and most of the leafs are dead some of the stems aswell turned brown.. i cut them off but the left over green leafs are still hanging low and turning yellow by the time please tell me how to save it.. it's 6-7 years but it's still small .. it'll be about 5-7 inches..
What about the flies & insects I have in my pot of money tree. There are lots of them. How do I get rid of them and make my soil insect free as I we keep the money tree inside our house. Please suggest something to do with the flies & insects in the soil of my money tree
Hi Seema, most likely you mean fungus gnats. The small black flies. There are several ways to get rid of them. The easiest is to cover the soil for about 1-2 cm with sand. They lay eggs under the surface of the soil. If there is sand, they cannot lay eggs and the adult flies will die soon. You can also put some yellow sticky traps, which you can find here under "Pest control" www.amazon.com/shop/annasviolets. Please let me know which method you used and if it helped or not
Im so upset that my plant I been taking care of. The roots started to look dry yet spongy. I have taken all precautions so couldn't understand why. When went to investigate turns out there was a rubber band strangling it. Poor 🪴. I had repotted it months before never saw it. Had to remove 2 dead stems . The top is green & alive. The plant is hanging on. I just repotted it. Hoping cam save it with TLC😢

What do you do if you have stems/leaves growing out of your bark? Can you cut them and propagate ?
I have one branch very tall , how can I make it buch out more
You can prune it. And don't forget to propagate the top cutting. I have a separate video about propagation
Thanks!
