US postal regs prohibit setting the post in concrete or deeper than 24 inches. The reason is they want it to break away when your drunk neighbor plows into it.

So you used one 60lb bag for a 10in hole? How much would you use for a 24in depth/12in diameter hole to support a 4x4 post? Google is giving me wildly different answers.
Oh and how much water do you think?
