At first I started to watch because im like no way another guy claiming he shot x amount of rounds without cleaning it. As soon as you took the slide off im like yup 10k without cleaning it lol. There is only a few of us that know what 10k rds looks like. Good video 👍🏾
The lube is making it a lot worse. Once you get past 500 or so (no extra lube or minimally applied per Glock manual) it kinda plateaus and the excess just flakes off. The lube keeps it all sludgy and stuck in there.
Oh man, I’m way too anal to let mine get like that. I clean mine at about 500-700 rounds. Ideally, you could have two guns just alike. Use one for practice and keep your carry/home defense gun clean. Thanks for the video sir.
I clean my gun every after use. Even with only 100 rounds...yep...she's getting cleaned. This is just discipline I learned in the ARMY and the police force.

This is a great video for changing the stock trigger to the new Glock Performance trigger. Thank you!
No problem, thanks for watching!
I hear ya, i don't clean my guns either especially polymer pistols. Bout every 4th trip add oil an go.
Same, I don't really clean, just oil!
So smart it’s like you want to make a reliable gun less reliable lol 😂
@@beforedeth2104 zero issues! None! Notta! I shoot & put in the work! Not a kitchen table operator like you.
@@beforedeth2104 you don't need to clean your gun every range trip. That's actually excessive.
Well I hope you clean it more frequently with the GPT in it now.
Is that an aftermarket barrel on your 17 ? I run Glock performance trigger version 2 on my Glock 19M and its smooth as butter !
@@accord50 nice! That barrel is a Glock OEM threaded barrel
Was that a version 1 or the new version two GPT?
This is version 1, which has a lighter trigger pull, and I also don't have binding issues with it either. The version 2 is heavier
I can just imagine what your car engine looks like.
@@AE-hi9uj just as you'd imagine!

Yeah it looked especially wet in there

Haha, yessir

you should never have to hammer pins on a Glock. get an armorers manual!
Probably has to on account of all the grimy shit caked all over it
Good luck going that long with the GPT it will feel like shit lol
@October.409 no way, how come?
Are u sure bro 10 thousand round you shots ? 😮😮
@@nomeeshorts about 10,700 now
Locking block.
Haha, I remembered it after I made the video. I don't know why I couldn't think of the name. Thanks!
Locking Block
