Great design Lenny!!! I’ve visited your store a few times coming from Huntsville. Even stopped by on the way back to Huntsville from the airport. Cool spot to pickup awesome toys for your Glock!!!
So on my Glock performance trigger I messed up and took apart that trigger bar. I found it just as easy to use the bigger take down pin to hold the spring back and assemble the bar back worked perfectly and fast. Great video.
I really want Glock to develop their performance glock triggers for the g43, 43x, and 48s. I've heard some rumors that it is coming, but are rumors. The performance trigger is excellent and a total game changer. Love it.
This is a good video. My GPT jammed up at the range, probably due to trigger bar displacement. I took out the striker and removed the slide, and once I watched the video I could reassemble everything. Thanks!
I was in the store last Saturday, and picked up the Glock Performance Trigger (love living in Nashville, and hope the trip was good). What did I do when I got home? Yup, exactly what you said everyone does… I was curious as to how it worked because I plan to polish the trigger bar. Whoops. I managed to get it straightened out after a few minutes using an angled pick, but it wasn't exactly easy. The tool that you guys make is very smartly designed and will likely save a lot of hand cramping. Keep innovating!!
That’s pretty amazing. I’ve been ambivalent about getting the performance trigger after hearing about what a pain it is to take apart, because I would really prefer to swap out the connector for (I think) the dot connector which would put the trigger weight back around the five pound mark for defensive use. I just bought an OEM replacement from you all, but if that doesn’t fix the undesirable issue with my trigger bar’s safety extension “diving“ into the notch for the safety plunger, I’m definitely going to try the performance trigger with this tool and the heavier connector.
Just found this UA-cam channel and realize you were the same guy that used to come in to yoshinoya on convoy and order large spicy chicken bowls about 17 years ago 😂. Same order every time!
I have large hands. The GPT OEM shoe fits perfectly for me in my Gen V. I have a Gen III 17 that I'd like to get the GPT for, but I don't need the Pyramid shoe. Can I get the setup with the factory shoe in a Gen III configuration with the back plate?
installed it easy enough, but now when i shoot my firearm slowly it will fail to go into battery. If i fire rapid it is fine. Im a bit lost on what to do trying top solve this.
What? A better trigger for my Gen 1 glock 22? Shocking 😮. I thought I was buying Glock Perfection. You know it can't Be improved. I love my old Dumpy stiff trigger.
I bought the tool because I changed the lighter connector to an 8 lb.(+) connector in order to eliminate light strikes, which this trigger assembly has
can i install it without the tool? i hope so because i‘m a glockhead living on the philippines and i‘m planning on putting the performance trigger into my G19X + G17 gen 5 without that tool. I hope it won‘t be a hassle.
I carry a Glock don't get me wrong, but isn't it a bit sad that we need to replace the trigger to get what other companies offer with their base model? (CZ, Walther, HK etc)
Buy a plane ticket, fly out, and come get it yourself. I'm sure that would be cheaper, right? You can order other stuff too and shipping is free on order over $100.
@@BWHeitmann I ordered once from the Glock Store and never again. It was a tungsten rod in my 45MOS that came apart during a COF. Will never use anything again not OEM for my EDC. Glock support never replied to requests for replacement.
This is sold to fit a gen4 of you change the slide plate. That incorrect. The trigger is too narrow and it allows the slide stop on a gen 4 to walk sideways and hang up on the last round.
Not it is not. But some get curious and take it apart because you can do with the stock trigger and very easily reassemble. Just becomes kind of a habit when you take these things apart a lot. Also, some people want to remove the connector and polish it or replace it with a different connector. You'll need to disassemble in that case. But if you're just replacing the stock trigger with the Performance trigger, it goes in as easily as the old one comes out.
It's called a Slave Pin; I've come across spring/pin problems before with my Walther PPQ, and just cut a piece of Q-Tip to do the job of a slave pin. *This looks built to be very Glock specific; I guess you can call it a Tool.* *Included with Trigger👍- any more than $2.00 sold separately👎*

So this is why they come with the rubber band holding everything together, ingenious little tool . Very nice Lenny . Tiny mouse trap !

In fact they do for the purpose. Performance Trigger is for sports shooting.
that trigger is for sports shooting. in a EDC or house gun you want more like a 5lbs trigger
