Racing just pure class, they were in cruise control. Finn Russell and Teddy Thomas brilliant.
Nolann Le Garrec, 19 years old.. another young french talent..
French have some damn good halfs.
Dupont (25) Ntamack (23)
Le Garrec (19) jalibert (23)
Future looks amazing
Look also at Toulon's ones, what the French national team needs is two (three would be even better) full pairs used to play together.
yes and next season you will discover Leo Coly.
@@clementleboedec5920 Et Baptiste Jauneau, 18 ans, qui déborde de talent.
and carbonnel, lucu
and Serin
@@rakamblacky7196 Lucu et Serin ce n'est pas l'avenir.
Can there be a petition for rugby to be played like racing 92, it was just beautiful!!
Leinster play as good tbh
@@shane-irish I don't think leinster play like that mate. leinster they score a ridiculous amount of points. like properly ridiculous. but they don't play with reckless abandon.
Not even a little bit. Leinster are the epitome of professionalism meanwhile any team with russell in it... is well... capable of stupid levels of amazing followed by utter complete shiteology. If they try that crap agains a better team like a leinster, or a toulouse they will get hammered. In fact... la Rochelle next week probably gonna take em to the cleaners.
Their attack coach is going to Munster next season!
@@shane-irish leinster are boring af
@@MrIncorr3ct Aye its true... Winning too much can be terribly boring.
Teddy Thomas is on another level. What a mind, what athleticism!
Indeed when he is not injured
If he actually looked interested in defence he would be phenomenal. As it is, France have the 2 best wings in the country already playing for the national side with Villiere and Penaud.
You can tell Russell loves playing for Racing 92 so much more than Scotland
I'm not in Russell's mind, but what you've said actually sounds oddly right. He seems to perform better and more consistently with racing even though he's still capable of the best and the worst at any point of the game. A genius ahah
COME ON LADS...OF COURSE HE DOES..HE IS SURROUNDED BY QUALITY PLAYERS WITH 92..WITH SCOTLAND,, SURROUNDED BY MEDIOCRITY.!!!
I think he has a lot of pressure when playing for Scotland and maybe the managing team doesn't know how to handle him properly. He's a genius for sure and Racing fans love him.
The team covers his back when he does shit instead of looking at him as the culprit. So not much is expected from him in defense and he as a wild card on the attack. It transcends his quality and mitigates lack of defense.
@@paulbismuth10 the game Scotland plays expect him to defend like another player while Racing ask him to focus on attacking while the other players around him do not expect him to defend.
The skills on those Racing players are just insane. Russell, Thomas, Fickou ... what an all-star game. And their counter-attacking is absolutely lethal. Sale didn't do much wrong, Racing just steamrolled over them off of some individual brilliance at key moments.
That Finn Russell try is the best I've ever seen. Magical
Two of the best individual efforts for a try you will ever see. Bravo R92.
As a Sale fan, that second half was hard to watch. Racing totally deserved the victory - just too much pace outside with Imhoff, Vakatowa and Teddy T. Referee could have done a better job of protecting the players though. The high shot in the first minute not even being looked at plus the hit on Tom Curry being deemed only a penalty and not looked at seemed a bit sus.
Wouldn't have changed the game but it's frustrating when you see these vast inconsistencies.
I think he must have watched how Wayne Barnes and Luke Pearce referee sale, they are not to fussed about the player welfare of sale players
Wahhh wahhh we’re too shit so blame the refs
@@liamreynolds2225 Read the comment properly, troll
Russell’s offload going to ground for the Teddy T try also looks forward.
Just to be clear, there was no foot in touch by Thomas and no pass forward by Spring.
Those two tries were correctly given and rewarded the far better team this afternoon.
You probably think there was nothing wrong with the Chat tackle too... 😴
That Scottish Pictish Magician Russell 😘
Finn Russel proving his critics wrong once again. Easily the best and most creative number 10 in the northern hemisphere on his day
ABSOLUTELY.!!!
Finn Russell is the Van Gogh of rugby, straddling the line between genius and insanity. That crossfield kick from inside their own 22, then his try. Absolutely pure mental! Other fly halves might be more effective but Russell is establishing legendary status and changing what is considered possible in his position. He seems to have so much fun doing it as well, chuckling back to half way after every outrageous scoring play.
"on his day" being the reason he has critics.. goes missing far too often on off days
He has a ridiculous backline to work with at Racing. He's so hot and cold at international level and will lose games sometimes as much as he wins them
"On his day"
Lol exactly, it's just that all the other days he's an absolute joke.
Racing can be angel or devil in every match, when they play like this you need to love them and be scare!
What an amazing try
The French are solid
Bravo le Racing 92, merci Sale, allez les mecs !
Stunning flair & pace from Racing. Sale looked one dimensional, out thought, cumbersome & ultimately outclassed. Can see why Sale are clearing out their bulky Saffa contingent. Expect them to look towards pace & dynamism in future recruitment.
What a match
Look mighty impressive.
Manu’s try..commentator: no collisions necessary 👍🏻😂
i didnt discover rugby til i was 55 great classy game fin russell to teddy toma unbelievable how did they do that?
Easy win today, its our year, GO RACING
Didnt get to see the game live but did Racing do this with 14 men after that head clash? Some amaising ball play by Racing.
Nope - wasn’t even looked at
Why is La Rochelle v Montpellier not on this channel?
A good question 🤔 👀
Good video
.
Good video
Teddy Thomas’ try is so rare. Not sure it’s been done before
Would love to see a club championship super rugby winners vs winners of these tournaments 💙
Sale = Too many South Africans with power but not much else … Thomas, Russel, Imoff and co showed how it’s done . 2 worlds between the teams .
Springboks won't have these problems when they play France end of the year with the same players.
So maybe thev issue is not the South Africans but the coaching and supporting players.
@@blaquenguni9249 No, the issue is what they take in South Africa to everytime being bulky, faster and stronger in just few weeks.
🤔😊😅🤣😭 I get it, the boks won the last World Cup because they are just meatheads, so inciteful
@@tm.8399 steroids for breakfast and hgh for lunch
@@martynslinn6607 pretty muvh since high school for the players and since 1995 for the federation yeah
Max Spring is some prospect, could be bigger for Racing than Zebo was
How wasn't that head on head contact by the tackler at 16 seconds?
Exactly what I am thinking. No arm tackle (doesn't wrap) with contact direct to the head. Seen red cards given for less.
Agreed, going off recent reds that challenge definitely fitted the bill. World Rugby need to address the lack of consistency.
Agreed. Give me games "spoilt by an early red card over head traumas any day. Player safety has to come first if we want parents to allow their kids to play the sport.
was thinking exactly the same - no mitigation, reckon that was a straight red. 2nd tacklers have to be more careful
Nolan legarec doit être n9 en France après dupont, lucu est bon mais Nolan est au même niveau et il est jeune !!
If you make a spoiler in the image, the video loses its point
His foot rolls on the touch line. No try. Great effort tho
Le Racing a réussi à renverser une première mi-temps très mal engagé et pauvre ! Peut-être que cette année sera enfin la bonne. Après tant et tant de défaites dans le dernier carré.
Russell joue au football
Tough lucky Saleboks but glad to see that it ain't all roses in Faff The Botox Kid's life !
Watching these quarter-finals matches and comparing the performances of Dupont and De Klerk, I must that he later didn't impressed me, but of course he was not playing with the same talent before and behind him. I mean Sale forwards and the backs too. As Dupont and De Klerk are often compared, what do you think.hat do you think?
I agree about the backs but the sharks forwards were the ones going forward and had the officials taken the time to look at the hits on dupreez and curry their hard work might have been better rewarded
@@martynslinn6607 Yes, they are strong but not versatile, passes, offloads, that kind of things.
@@jean-pascalesparceil9008 I am unsure as to how many games sale you have seen but the offload and forwards passing is very much their style, i think boks forwards are generally excellent at recycling ball and this can now be seen more readily in the way Ben and Tom curry play but our back line was lacking today, not necessary a fan of Russell but fickou (apols for spelling) and Thomas are world class
Dupont is the best by miles
@@martynslinn6607 You are right, I was meaning the same players do it the same way, not really surprising the opposition.
it's like Racing was playing another sport
bro that screen is mahoosive wth
TBF sale were in over their heads at this level.
How? They earned their way into this round fair and square
They are very one dimensional. Good to see Manusomoa Tuilagi play 80 in a big game without getting injured tho. Didnt know he was capable of it 😂
@@Jake-uo9eq I didn't say they didn't but on merit... the way the groups this year were laid out, a lot of quality were beaten by other quality and Sale kinda got an easier run in. They can be proud of getting this far. But the cream is rising and they were never going any further. Just look at Leicester yesterday. Also reached the end of their road when they ran into a proper quality outfit.
@@dingbatdave9440 Leicester played shite tho, as did sale in that second half, but suppose it’s hard for the English teams with these refs
@@dingbatdave9440 remind me again, how many finals have racing won, I think the answer is the same amount that sale have won, I think that is what they call parity though it is true sale were well beaten in the second half
Ruined it in the thumbnail, again.
2:57 4:05
the first half was so boring but the second half didn't disappoint
Why do English teams struggle so much in European rugby??
Because they have ABSOLUTELY NO FLAIR.!!!
their salary cap is too small compared to the french sides
@@the_first_step1536 Sale's squad is probably worth more than that Racing team
Maybe they are not quite a good as the English media portrays them
Teams like Leicester have tiny 2nd rowers while teams like Sale have zero outside backs. Generally very unphysical rugby
Do you think they realize they forgot a game ?
why was 0:18 not a red card? it's direct head to head contact. no mitigation. Someone help me out ?
Rugby or Football ?😄
Why wasn't the Chat head contact looked at in the first minute?! Could have changed the game completely!!! Poor from the ref and TMO
Je prévois que le RC92 se fera aplatir comme un moustique de printemps la semaine prochaine. Finale : LR/Leinster.
.......E S S A I ...... WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ....FAF DE KLERK
You have the best pack and you loose???? Don't understand
Some shocking refereeing in a *highlights* reel. (did not watch the full game)
Nonsense
Never before in the history of man, have so few officials had such a massive hand in the outcome of one game. The officiating was the most atrocious I have witnessed this season. Goodness, gracious me! What has rugby come too chaps?
Shut up. Brace is the worst referee. He fucked France during the autumn nation cup final against England. He fucks french clubs often.
Hammersley on the wing, unfit macginty and Rob dupreez kicking, not your preferred choices and a rare poor showing from Luke James, bad day at the office. The forwards fronted up well but Racing had to much for sale to deal and finished worthy winners. French TV not fairly showing replays is to be expected as is referees turning a blind eye to dangerous hits on sale players, not even tmo reviews
