I bought the JFEGWO 6000A a few years back, and it's been consistently reliable ever since. Very dependable!

I have a JFEGWO 6000A, which is perfect for cars. We had it running on the Mack for about 30 minutes, trying to get it started. Everyone was doubting it. Then it started the engine.

Fantastic video! I recently got my hands on a JFEGWO 6000A equipped with an air compressor. While I haven't had the chance to try it out on a V8 engine yet, it effortlessly revived my dead UTV battery, saving the day. This weekend, I'll be putting together a video showcasing the impressive starting performance of the JFEGWO 6000A. After finding out the NOCO GB40 couldn't handle my Mopar 4.7L V8, and even my truck despite having a NOCO in the garage, I decided to follow my friend's recommendation and went for the JFEGWO. Quite a wise move, it seems!

I've sold all my 7.3s over the years, I think it's time to find another.
So glad to see you back with a powerstroke...

My wife and I were just discussing getting a jumpstarter for each of our vehicles (07 Jeep Compass, 2000 F-250 7.3). Thanks for the honest review. Not a bad price, either. Thank you for this.

I bought a Avapow 6000 amp jump box that is very similar. I've used it to jump several vehicles and it worked great.
Haven't had to use it on my 7.3 because she never lets me down 😜
Mine has been sitting behind the back seat for over a year and a half and never had to recharge it either

my Rule of Thumb, is I never, try to start an engine, until the battery in the truck has charged up at least 15 minutes, you need the battery to help the booster.
I once started up a ladies car with a lamp cord !!!
Yes, I cut an Extension cord in two, those things are 14 gauge, she was in a hurry, but I told her, "Lady, you ain't going anywhere until this battery comes up enough to start the engine"
in the end, she was happy, at least she went home in her own car.
this was decades ago, jump Boxes were unheard of then.
never she, or I had a set of Jumper Cables that day.

Good video Joe!!!! I'm shocked your truck started!!! When my batteries died in my 2000 7.3 I installed Odyssey Extreme group 65. Odyssey and I think only 1 other company uses Virgin lead in their batteries. Everyone else uses recycled lead. While they cost alot up front I'm hoping they last a very long time.

I was surprised as well. Pretty good for the price tag on the unit!

Wow! The NOCO equivalent of this is their 5250 amp unit, which is over $1,000. What's the difference between this $150 device and NOCOS $1,000 device? Really makes you wonder. Such a wide price gap.

    • @LivingOnWheels
      @LivingOnWheels  3 місяці тому +1

Just based on size I don't think this thing is truly equivalent to the noco 5250 but for the price it seems like a pretty decent unit.

@@LivingOnWheels yea, I think I would be really happy with the $150 unit for at home, but if I was over landing I would probably fork out the cash for the NOCO. Thanks for taking the time to make this video! I just came across your channel about a month ago, and I've been working my way through your 7.3 content. Really good stuff.

Old bats were NOT “completely dead”.. these 7.3 PS’s were no different then most big rig electrical systems of that era; if available power was below a set threshold, it’s designed to automatically shutdown all available power… that booster simply placed its CCA’s in series with what’s left of dual bats’ CCA’s. Combined, being enough TOTAL to avoid the built-in systems shutdown &, crank over the 7.3 to start

I've never heard of these trucks having that type of system.
