    I work for a Medium-Size Bulk hauling company with 700+ trucks (International, Mack, Pete) and 19 shops up and down the east coast. We have one of these at each of our shops and they have been working great. They are made by a chinese company called "South King" who resells/rebrands their "SK-JP30", goodall does not manufacture these. They have a 16000Mah, 235.8Wh 14.8V lithium battery.
    We have one at every shop and they work great. They do go bad, I took apart a broken one and could not find the fault, the battery was good so it seemed to be a board issue. We use ours daily, no issues.

    $1,000 is a small price to pay when you have a decent amount of trucks that need batteries. It’s a real helpful tool that pretty much pays for itself. Impressive that it can turn over an engine without any batteries.👍

      so you know. starting a car with no batteries requires less power from a jumpbox than a veh. with the batts still attached but drained. the dead batttery pulls the available amps way down, charging

      The noco ones are really good too. For semi truck you need something with at least 3000 amps in normal condition.
      If the battery is completely dead you need something with 5000 amps or more.

    I'm glad I mentioned that one and I'm even more glad it's working well! It started a C-15 Caterpillar with completely dead batteries. Dash didn't light up with the key on. Also started an MX-13 I was driving with dead batteries in below freezing weather. Dash lit up with that one but the starter wouldn't even engage. Both companies I've worked for owned that model and it worked every time. The one company used that instead of the generator start-all they had. More convenient and worked just as well.

    👍👌👏 Oh WOW, extremely impressive! To be completely honest: At first I thought that I would never ever spend 1000 USD for a jump starter. But for a business/profession like yours, this thing is obviously extremely helpful and a time saver too. It's freakin' awesome and nearly unbelievable, what this little device is able to do. The manufacturer should definitely donate something to you for showing this to the world.

    Good video. That box is legit! I see your problem, you have way too many trucks! 😄
    I have the JNC 660, Have had it for probably 10 yrs, it worked great for years but the internal battery finally got pretty weak so I replaced the internal battery, got the replacement battery from Batteries Plus, I think it was about $60. Be sure to occasionally charge the Jump Boxes and they'll last a LOT longer. If some company wanted to dominate the market, they'd make a HD Jump Box with a built in battery tender so it's always good to go and would probably last almost indefinitely.
    I recently bought the 30,000 amp Viking Jump Box from Harbor Freight, only about $300, seems pretty legit so far.
    Most newer vehicles benefit from a battery shut off so the batteries don't drain sitting. My Ram 2500 will kill the batteries in about 3-4 wks of sitting from the ECU doing it's thing. I just put a HD Flaming River Disconnect on my FL80 Dump Truck and it makes all the difference plus I can lock it for security.

    • @j.c.smithprojects
      @j.c.smithprojects  8 місяців тому

      your dodge is going dead after just a few weeks, you have a draw that is pulling the battery down or the battery itself is bad. it should be able to go months and months without draining it. 50 miliamp draw is acceptable.

      show me a charged battery with 10,000 amps of capacity. i use to have 3 group 31 925 ca batteries paralleled with 3 separate sets of permanently connect 2/0 cables and high amperage clamps for the truck battery side. that was 2775 ca available. it didnt hold a candle to this. this uses a capacitor based system. they hold lots of power and can send a burst of energy extremely fast. this type of system takes a long time to recharge to full capacity. it only weighs 11lbs. im telling you, there is nothing else like it. it works so well, i bought another one. i have two now.

I had to put jumper cables first then it would work little disappointed since lots of people were claiming it starts trucks with dead batteries. I have a much smaller lithium powered jump pack (so... the same technology, just the baby version) and it's mind boggling what it can do. I would never expect it to crank over a commercial engine, but for regular automotive stuff it's pretty hard to beat. I have considered using it in combination with a group 31 battery to try to turn it into a big boy jump box without the big boy price.

      if i replace the batteries in the trucks in this video it would cost me over $1500. this is not to keep me from buying batteries. it is to keep me from having to change out batteries just to move a truck when i need to get to one behind it. i replace batteries when a truck is either put into service or is sold. otherwise it is a waste of money putting new batteries in trucks that i am not ready to build yet. i have trucks behind trucks that are behind trucks. this is much faster and only weight 11lbs. it is far more convenient than carrying 8 or 10 batteries to swap out if one wont start.

    My 10,000 amp Goodall Start-All was absolutely JUNK......The true test of a product is how it works after a few years, NOT how it works when new/newer, out of the box. This product is made in China......Even though I always kept it charged over 40%, it stopped working after 7 months. The circuit board would go blank/dead, for no reason. I bought it new from Kenworth dealer and it worked excellent, while it was working. After a few uses and 7 months, it stopped working. Took it back to Kenworth for warranty claim and after waiting 8 weeks, I never got it back. When they called Vanair, Vanair said "due to limited parts availability and a high number of claims ahead of mine", they could not give KW dealer a date when I'd get it back........So i asked KW if they had many warranty claims on them and KW parts guy said, "Yes, the circuit boards are faulty and they've had lots of warranty claims". Like i said, they work good at first, when they're working, but do not last long due to the fact that they're very poor quality.
