Solo roleplaying games are a great way to pass the time when you need to scratch that RPG itch but don't have anyone around to play with. Single player RPGs are great for telling a story or for just having fun, and don't require much more than a piece of paper, dice, or maybe a deck of cards. This video goes over several solo RPGs you can play in 2023 and beyond!

What is YOUR favorite solo RPG that you've played this year?
Haven't played it yet, but I'm interested in Ironsworn. Also, Cairn, Mork Borg and Four Against Darkness. I'd like to see more about then in your channel, if you are willing. 😉
Just getting started with Cartograph by Brandon Lee -- really enjoying it so far. Really appreciated the suggestions / recommends on this vid and your old one from lockdown days. Thanks so much!
@katiekofemug happy to help!
Wolves of Langston from Obvious Mimic!
I have been playing D&D 5e, using Mythic GM emulator (the first edition is free for download). Other than only one PC, it's about like D&D. I'm about to be running an actual campaign for real people soon, though, so my best boy is probably gonna be on the back burner
I'm giving D&D 5e a go with the Mythic GME and so far it's an interesting experience.
Im also currently enjoying The Wolves of Langston
I really need to try these games out. Delve sounds so much fun but all of them look really cool. Also, thank you for the shoutout!! Personal bias aside, the LBH adventures are so well written it's a privilege to create maps for them!
Haven’t played Wolves of Langston yet, but just backed their new Kickstarter Crystals of Z’Leth. And I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Ironsworn! I love me some PBTA, so I’m definitely checking that out ASAP. Thanks for the recs!
Thousand year old vampire is so good. I'm trying to build a environmental/Cosmic horror ship's log game that combines the heart of TYOV with map making, as an ill-fated crew embarks and hopefully returns home...
That would be cool!
Is the matt mercer cutout just apart of the example... Or do you really have that? Not judging.
I honestly wish I had one just for the gag
Colostle looks really unique and fun, I'll have to give it a shot!
Thanks so much for this
I've never played a solo RPG, but I trust LBH to cover quality content. Anyone want to suggest which of the selections I should try first? I'm an old school D&D player and prefer low-magic settings the most.
Ironsworn... but my favorite on the list is thousand year old vampire
I agree with bcj7064. If you want dice in hand, Ironsworn is where it’s at. And Titans Year Old Vampire is my own personal favorite.
Ah the dad jokes. I salute you sir. 😂
veggie platter? gaming geeks? lol...good one
Finish watching Sound of Freedom and then I walk into a video that ends with a guy saying this? What a degenerate weirdo!
