I suggest American Idiot next. Then Brain Stew and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams. There are quite a few Green Day songs to choose from. My daughter is the one who got me listening to this band. The older generation meets the new generation. My daughter and son now like some of my music and I like some of theirs, it's a good thing.

I love seeing first time reactions to songs I grew up with.The first time I heard this song, my sister was having her first birthday party with boys. I snitched on the older kids(I was 8) for making out(this song was playing) and once the parents were gone again I got my first and only swirly. Learned not to be a snitch that day.
in california radio they used to play songs like Basket case on the alternative rock station and When i come around played on the pop station
Back in the day the "radio gods" controlled the song length of most "radio length" songs on the radio to about 3.:30.
Apparently a study was done in the 50's that the average person had an attention span of about three and half minutes..
