- Customer said the power has been flickering for ages! A broken neutral ring on the socket circuit lead me to hidden single socket behind the bed. There I found the rouge conductor, looking like it had been arcing for a while. A replacement socket and some decent Newton's on the connections and we're good to go. #faultfinding #electrician #megger
I listen to classical music while performing an EICR from r1 r n and r2 minor to the 5 x tripping
God I wish all jobs were that easy!! :D
Love the Channel, I am a new learner I find it inspiring!
I don’t believe it, it’s never the 1st socket always the last one.
..and always hidden behind furniture that hasn't seen the light of day for decades (or a vacuum cleaner for that matter).
So true lol..
Technically that was the last one he checked…
The last one you look can be the first one 😮
Why would you carry on looking after the one you find? So yeah the last one 😂🤦🏻♂️
Would that cause a rattle sound ??
Arcing sound possibly 🤔
Nice choice of music 👌🏻
Nice one! What were the symptoms that they described Mr B? The items in the extension cable stopped working or began playing up, or the cracklng noise from the socket outlet itself?
Bedside lamp coming on by it's self and phone not charging sometimes! You'd think this was the first socket I went to but no!
Beethoven himself would have been proud! 💪🏾😉
We could all do with a bit more Beethoven in our life.
When are we gonna get the good long videos back?
When indeed Phillip?
There's some stuff on the horizon and some I'm working on. It all comes down to time and that I don't have a lot of these days.
@@JBE Yeah some of these jobs are so time consuming it seems 🤣No in all seriousness, it’ll be nice to see more from you. A few of the big sparks seem to be going quieter sadly, hopefully just a small blip I hope.
@@phillipgwynne6580 Not to speak for them or anyone else having a go at UA-cam, but there's only so much content you can put out there before it becomes predictable and samey. It's great for the industry having all these sparks putting out their own take on things and us as viewers get to see many forms of electrical work. I think in many cases though it does come down to time! Do you listen to any electrical podcasts?
The reading for the neutral passed and its was Earth that failed 😒
No both failed
Bet an AFDD would of prevented ;)
It might of tripped off due to a series arc? To be honest the customer telling me their symptoms helped me diagnose the problem before I'd even got any tools out. Just call me DCI Beck 🕵♂️
😊😊😅
Hi pot machine
