9 to 5 for someone else. 24/7 for yourself. Dont eliminate the reality of it making a partial statement to make it sound as if its ridiculous. Cmon now
It can be a tough choice. I work as a lead designer, for a global company and so much that goes on is so STYUPID and soul sapping. It’s barely creative and these people get off on processes, gossip and filling out some dang forms. Just another reason in my life, why I plan to leave nothing behind. What’s the point?
I'm realizing that if I'm gonna be broke, I'd rather be broke working for myself than for anyone else. I think this is the realization I need to actually get started. I don't care if I have to work a 9 to 5 to support myself , but I NEED to share my art and craft. ❤ Thank you.
To be honest, you explained it better than 99.9% of business gurus - very simple and straight to the point. I love the video! I'm now genuinely rethinking some parts of my process (from both business and managerial perspectives). Thank you for great tips!
Art classes are a lot learning to see. It's called observational drawing (or painting). It teaches the basics, it teaches how to really see what one is trying to depict. All teens find the basics of drawing quite tedious and boring, it's normal... But it really helps later in the art journey as the whole point is practice. Practice to have the ability for accuracy, then we swerve off and create own art language.
most teachers dont tell you why though because they themselves dont understand the art fundementals. perspective, primitive shapes, gesture, anatomy. Copying gets you no where you have to break things down and simplify them before reconstructing them again.
As an artist, I feel like its just not easy to draw something people wants, we can't capture the things we wanna draw without knowing a thing about it, bc then the art would be a lot souless and it wouldnt stand out infront of other people who draw the art with love. I think its important to consider the three questions of what arts am I good at? What do I enjoy drawing? What arts I can draw for the people that theyd love? And find the common denominator ! This is what works for me
I never painted what people wanted. I never followed hype or requests people had I always followed my intuition and allowed it to create visions in my mind that I then painted. There are thousands of people that love what you create, your goal is to find them specifically.
Yeah, I make stuff from my heart, but stuff from my heart isn't celebrities. People tend to enjoy art about their favorite celebrities so I can understand why something like that sells easily. I do get requests for commissions (I only take the ones from people I know seriously), but I hope one day soon people will start to actually want what I've already created from my heart and I truly believe that's my best work.
I got fed up with the art department and switched my major to business. Great decision! The college of business is much more applicable for someone trying to run an art business. People will tell you that you can't make it as an artist. For me, that's just another reason to work harder and figure it out!
I'm so thankful you didn’t listen to those around you. Unfortunately I did. I spent many years doing something I was very good at, but didn’t make my heart full, that didn’t strike my passion. I left my career and started my journey in art, but i still haven't fully stepped into it fully. You're video was inspiring. Thank you
I’m a lot older than you… And I’ve had businesses before, both successful and unsuccessful ventures… I’ve been so hesitant to start a venture again, ……. but I just found your story so inspiring and so honest and straightforward that I am very inspired . Thank you so much and best of luck to you❤️❤️❤️
Life is hard enough, especially when your not doing what you really love. I remember I made the mistake of taking a very safe route, and it has bled alot of sorrow into my life. When your working a job you hate, sketching during work hours as a source of stress relief, just to get through the day, it means I should have done something else with my life. So learn from me, believe in yourself and just do it! Take the leap! Thanks Karina you inspired me to take my art more seriously.
as someone trying to find success in nails, u should sell "tickets" for ppl who want to use a print for a tattoo or nail design, it's like a permission slip to have someone recreate your art on them in a personal way
U know what.. this is making me wonder who would pay me for my drawing instead of just getting their tattoo behind my back. But I do recall being asked to make a tattoo design once. Hmmmmmmmm
@@annath_ii absolutely great point! unfortunately, there are poeple who will steal art to have tattoos done, but any proper tattoo artist knows to respect the original creator and not go through with tattooing it. with that said, i've purchased plenty of tattoo tickets with the print included from the artists directly (and havent gotten most of them tattooed on me yet haha, but when i do i have their permission!) you'd be surprised at how many people are willing to pay for permission or commissions to have your work tattooed on them, or even have it painted onto their nails. give it a shot, you got this!
hello there :) i am a young female artist in Iran and just wanted to say your video reached me and gave me a lot of hope for the future :) i been selling my art out in the streets for 2 years now . i put my stuff in my back pack and take my camping desk and chair to somewhere crowded and just sit and paint . people love it and they buy my stuff and talk about it to their friends and family .i'm not sure if this is legal in your country but this is so easy and fun to do and it's great for marketing and growing your account and selling . it's also really good for knowing what do people want and need :) this is good for any young artist who needs money for class and supplies .
My dad made me feel like a failure once I ended high school. I was getting ready to go to college and I wanted to look at art schools but I never even applied or tried because he yelled at me and started telling me that I wasn’t even good at art. It broke me…my world spiraled out of control and now I’m still confused about what I should do with my life. I started doing cybersecurity but I hated it. I went through a bad depressive episode and I ended up changing my major to art but I just felt so scared. I felt like I made a mistake. My first 3 semesters I felt like I wasn’t going anywhere or growing but my fourth semester changed me. I grew so much in my art and my mom and dad began to cheer my art on…I love art but I’m scared. I feel like my dad stabbed me in the back. I do art but I’m not consistent. I just truly want artist friends to join hands with. But anyway…I can’t get art of my head. I’m fascinated by art and I always have been but I feel like I avoid it because it has brought me a lot of pain and confusion but I WANT TO GROW. I WANT TO BE PROUD OF MYSELF. Thank You for making this video. Edit: I want to thank everyone for encouraging me and telling me your experiences as well. Thank you🙏
I had the same experience with my family, and they did not cheer me on until after success, I had to find peace in the fact of knowing that they truly just want the best for me they want me to be stable. Forgive them if you can, keep your heart open with your art and you will go far 🤍
As an artist, what made me whole, was when I started painting what I always wanted to paint, but was too busy making everything for everybody else or chasing a dollar. Jesus. So satisfied, with this decision. I AM whole now. HAPPY😂❤ Good luck to you. But, you won't make anyone happy, until YOU are
Please please DO NOT GIVE UP not under any circumstance I'm in my 50s and gave up on art and trust I've regretted it do it for you only and like this lady says fuck what anyone else thinks this is your life make it count ok all the best
My granddad was an artist with only a 4th grade education. I feel like if he could make it, anyone can make it. He has works in all types of museums and everything. If you are enjoying what you love doing, people will gravitate towards it.
I’m a community college counselor. I always tell students to follow their dreams. And have back up plans, build skills in other areas too like the business side. Your story is one I will add to my list to share with them. Good job ♥️
My browser was kinda freezing so I clicked a few times and when it unfroze I had opened AND liked this video lol, so I was like, ok, lemme watch... and girl, when I tell you that I cried! I am so happy and proud of you, and inspired to do it for myself. Thank you so much. Everything you said about authenticity is what has been showing up for me over and over again... signs after signs.
I feel like source creation was talking THROUGH you, we are all one, and when one of us taps into the power, realisation and knowledge of source, we all recognise it. I hope you get a life better than you could ever imagine
@@karinaalexandria222 Your video prompted me to post my first video! (i've since privated it because it was TRASH lol) I was stuck 'learning' rather than doing, for now until i niche down i've started a 30 day challenge to talk to the camera and just post something everyday. Seeing myself on camera (even though i'm rambling with no script) for longer than a few moments has caused a massive shift in my mentality to the point where plan to create cinematic youtube videos for women of colour to enjoy, we deserve a place to go where we can enjoy storytelling where we're not sexualised or demonised ffs. So - I don't know where my channel will go, but i do know it will brighten a few peoples day over the years (maybe ill eventually quit my day job as a software engineer), i wanted to say THANK YOU, literally just for being you - your passion was f*ing infectious and when i woke up the next day i could no longer quiet the nagging voice that had been pleading with me to just start.
With all due respect, I see your thumbnail and was like ahhh another pretty face. And then your preview played and I tuned in! You’re absolutely a beacon of motivation and an amazing example of success. Today is my third day without sleep working on my business. And I spent the last couple hours crying to myself if what I’m doing actually makes sense at this point, the weight of being the only one who truly sees and believes in my vision. Hearing your story just reminded me of why I’m doing this! I wish you and everyone else who believes your hearts desires! And thank you for sharing 🙏🏾
I just received three commissions in two months (haven't had commissions since i was doing them for nothing for friends)- not sure where I am headed with my art but this video might be a sign!
I also don't do any commissions but my mother got me into doing paintings on ostrich eggs and people who have seen them through her keep asking me to make more, way beyond easter.. I made several hundred 💲and I feel really different ;DD
I've struggled with doubt and fear nobody would like my art. It's so personal and it's like I'm putting myself for display. Thanks for this I'm going to watch your video again to make sure I absorb what your sharing. Thank you my fear of nobody liking my art I talk myself out of putting my art out there. I'm going 2 try it.
You are painting something that is already identifiable. People are buying because you are painting musicians that they are fans of. Now they are fans of your art. Congratulations.
What an amazing person. It’s plain to see that you genuinely care about people. I wish you all the best success! Thank you for inspiring me! I’m struggling with how to be productive doing something I love while being available for my autistic son. I’ve been looking for something I can do and still keep him my priority during the work. If he needs me I can drop my brushes and be there for him but while he’s playing with his cars etc I can do something to help earn money so I can better care for him and my family. This may very well be the answer I’ve been searching for! Again, thank you so much!
I love that you kind of took this business approach in a spiritual context. Bc most videos on business are by finance bros and it just doesn’t resonate. Thank you for making this video because you make it seem so much more meaningful and possible!!!
That part about your mom and people telling you to try the military or other job is so true, it is the same for me and its getting exausting, like hell no, I wanna be happy, loved the video and information!
Karina, I’m so grateful to find this video of yours! I’m a Brazilian visual artist, writer and educator and I share the decision you had in 2022 to earn a living with your art but I made this decision back in 2020 because of the pandemic. The enormous difference is that I couldn’t keep up with my own planning, maybe because I wasn’t mature enough, maybe because the reality in Brazil wasn’t the greatest for an independent artist (as it never was actually) or even maybe because I was not prepared to all the things that being an illustrator have to do, you know? It’s surely not that simple as only draw, paint and share your work. It’s much more complex than that. And then, life happened and I found a path as a art teacher and decided to study again, to get another degree (I have one in visual arts and I’m finishing a History degree - but with almost 6 years of classroom experience, I decided I dont want to be a teacher anymore). So, well, now I’m getting back to this old dream of becoming an illustrator and living out of it so I can travel around my country, South America and maybe Europe (in a few years from now). Anyway, I’m sharing all of this to THANK YOU for this amazing video that actually said and showed me important things that I was trying to find someone saying here in UA-cam but I couldn’t find Brazilians saying what I needed to hear. I’m surely subscribing to your channel and following you in instagram so I can keep up with your amazing work and contents. ❤
Thank you thank you thank you. The adults in my life said the same thing to me as an artist. Now as an adult parent with responsibilities I realize you cant always listen to other people because no one knows the future of industry, technology, or demand. Even with A.I. I am determined to get back to creating. This is the only way I desire to earn money for my family and myself. Thank you posting and being a great example. [I follow you]
OMG I relate so much to your story. Unfortunately the 8-5 ppl cannot understand how Creatives can't thrive in those environments so good for you for not succumbing to societal pressures
Your story literally makes me want to cry. It’s so beautiful how you kept going and your hunger, alignment, and intuition is powerful. Love this!!!!❤❤❤❤
babe your story is so relatable and you are ME. I am finally pursuing my art career after years of avoiding it! I need more exposure now, TY for sharing your story, it is inspiring
This is a great video, one of the best videos Ive seen on advice for starting selling your art. To those starting out, here's my advice: There is no substitute for practice and there actually are several ways to become an artist, of course, and they all require consistent effort. You can as Karina here, reject teachings and critiques and go your own way (youre more likely to do this if you dont respect your teacher). This works if you have the stamina to get the mileage needed to raise your level on your own, and be your own critic. This is the hard way. The easier way is to be a little humble and do the assignments and take the critiques to heart. You will see rapid improvement doing this if you put in the work. If you dont like the methods they teach you, still learn what doesn't work for you and then find a alternative methods by someone else or develop one yourself. There is rarely one way to do something, only best practices. By learning the rules you learn how they can be properly and creatively broken. Learning to draw/paint something require you to re-learn to see, learning to be an artist is therefor an exercise in learning to understand what youre seeing and practice the hand-eye coordination so you can properly express what youre seeing and later on visualizing in your mind. Anyways, if youre considering an art major, at least do a minor in economics, marketing or business. The business realities in this video are spot on.
probably the most straight forward and useful advice I’ve seen in UA-cam lately! My 14yr old daughter just started a fashion design business and everything you mentioned is on point and very helpful…Thank you so much for sharing
As somone who is 17 going into college next year who is struggling with body anatomy, shapes, hair, and much more this video really helped me get back on my feet to keep practicing more

The thing about creating celebrity portraits is the potential of getting sued. It’s one thing to paint a portrait and sell that one painting, but merchandising a celebrities likeness on tapestries and t-shirts and such is playing with fire, especially going viral and gaining that much attention. Just a matter of time until she gets caught.

This popped up on my feed at the perfect time. I finished my first fashion show a few months ago ot was awesome! But took a break from designing to rest but it went longer than I intended. So I started asking myself "to what level do I want to pursue a fashion and grow my brand?" And I hit a similar point that you did where I decided I wanted more, but the person that I currently am needed to evolve. So I got this book called Mindset and it talks about the "Growth" and "fixed" mindsets. And your video it lines up exactly with what I read in the book. About how mindset changes everything. So thanks for sharing this!! I feel more confident and going for it all the way.
Thank you for being so transparent and honest… best video i have seen on this topic, you are straight to the point so Thank you for making this simple, fun and easy to follow 😍🙏🏼❤️
As a creative/entrepreneur, this is great to watch. I've also shared it with people I know in your exact position (artists who want to be able to live on it

I have to say i watched so many videos lately. Somehow yours went deeper and i don’t even know why. I think your authenticity and the way you presented everything spoke to me. I started my journey a while ago but I keep stopping and I hope I find consistency someday. I know I can do it and I know my art is good. For some reason I stop at a point.
As an artist (or honestly anyone watching this!!!) I felt emotional and my eyes welled up watching! I love your story and I feel so inspired. Thank you for sharing, I needed to see this today!!!!
I'm so happy I found your account and this video. I've been wanting to start my art business for so long but my mental health hasn't been the best. This year I finally started posting my art doodles and they seem to be liked so it gave me a push and I made a tik tok account. Thank you for this valuable information and advice. Your energy is warm and this video really connected with me today. I think it was the wake up I needed to not let negative emotions win my days. I have to believe in myself and or at least be delulu that everything will work out until I make it happen. Thank you again girl!!
Your journey is very inspiring. It reflects our personal motto which is "there is only one way to succeed at anything and that is to GIVE IT EVERYTHING"
I loved this video. I didn't expect it, but it motivated me. I'm at a point where I don't really know where to go with my art. I'm just starting out and everything seems like a challenge for me. My family situation and my environment don't help much. But I know that with effort, I can improve and be patient and consistent. Thank you Karina for reflecting your reality. I wasn't following you, but now I'm going to follow you. I liked your sincerity.
Thank you for your video! I am slowly figuring this stuff out to become a working artist. It's always been my dream, and I just had to stop communicating with the haters and go for it. I kept wearing their fears like a coat of armor when they weren't even mine! Appreciate your time! D
🥺 I remember some of my professors saying that an Art degree wouldn’t pay my bills-even my own Mom. So thanks for sharing that, it wasn’t only just me.
Im so glad I clicked on "another one of these videos" even though they always leave me feeling lost. This is the first time someone has made me feel inspired and given the right insight I was looking for. Thank you stranger ❤
You are a jewel! The courage to say, I am creating my way, going where I want to go, then learning the skills needed to get there is encouraging to me. Thank you.
I left a quick generic comment that I was inspired and want to do the same thing without much thought; but listening to the entire thing I really do want to start but a lot like you i lack the confidence and self esteem, due to my circumstances right now which I won’t get into it really is now or never and I struggle to get over the initial fear and lack of self esteem to get started. Sorry if this is a bit do a trauma dump or plea for help I really don’t want to come across like that but listening this story really did touch me and give me a bit of a boost. I feel like I owe it to myself to get started and as much as I don’t know you I’m very proud of you for overcoming the initial fear of getting started they say that’s the hardest part so like I said in my other comment I’m really inspire right now and I’m wishing u all the best and much more success ✨
To become "Successful" (in life), you must FIRST become a successful person. The mindset shift is the starting block. Thank you for this great and timely post. E-Myth was a most uncomfortable book for me to read (even decades ago).. the technician AKA artist in me has always loathed the Manager and been terrified/resentful of the Entrepreneur. However, there is just NO other way. These 3 personalities MUST learn to work together if we must be successful. I wish you more light and blessings on your path. Thanks once again!
Needed to hear this, I’ve been stuck in a rut with self doubt and worrying about how lone it’s taken me to reach my goals. This was needed to help me focus more, thank you. 🙏🏽
Thank you so much for making this video! This is the first "how to art business" video that actually helped me. My mindset is different after watching this and I have a new understanding on the business side! My biggest problem is not having enough motivation to keep going. I've gotten so close to having a steady business then it just crashes because I get unmotivated. I don't have a niche or style and have no idea what I want my art to be :/
Thank you very much for making this video, you have just gained a follower on UA-cam and Instagram. I have been on a path of self discovery, exploring Human Design and Numerology. Through this I have realized I should be expressing myself through art - now which avenue of art I still need to discover. But this video popped up on my UA-cam feed at quite a coincidental time. Thank you again for sharing your story and I look forward to seeing more from you and the work you create.
Thank you! So happy this came up in my feed! Recently decided to get back to taking my art seriously after keeping that part of myself on the backburner for a while despite running another creative business.
Your story and entrepreneurial advice is amazing, but I have to say, the metaphysical component in your presentation was mind blowing for me personally. Intention, visualization and using the imagination is so KEY to success in this business and any other venture. The method of imagination that your parents introduced to your young mind is a beautiful thing, because when you are able to match your vibrational frequency to your desired outcome (what you have imagined) and maintain that mindset, as you have demonstrated, WILL become a reality. (Neville Goddard). Didn't mean to be so long winded. You are a beautiful person and your parents did a magnificent job in your development. Thank you. God bless.
Such a beautiful, honest and authentic video… Thank you! Yes, i work in corporate and i am fed up, I know in my heart i am an artist. How i will turn this table, I have no clue, but God sent your video my way!
is that Juice WORLD? This is really inspiring and relatable, especially as an immigrant who was told at 11 not to do art, so I did nursing instead and herniated my back
Thanks girl. Ive been asking myself this for years. The same thing happened to me with AP Art in 7th grade amagad❤ I made studio art my minor in college bc the teachers on the fine arts board were hateful! Instead of teaching you how to make a business from you art- they only critique the art itself- nothing more. And yes, the unsolicited advice from family seemingly from "good intentions" but was actually planting seeds of doubt 😢 Then came the jealous abusive bf's who i guess are mad i do what i want and not what they say, have always been independent and a creator. Im still scared to start and this video really helped me. Thank you.
wonderful video, you are so natural, I am 75 and lived off my art for most of my adult life. Never had a mobile phone till I was 50. But this whole internet world is fascinating,
Thank you for all your tips. I'm getting to similar conclusions at the beginning of my journey and to see them reflected in someone successful is a nice confirmation ♥
Thank you for making this video. I just recently started to take my art seriously, posting more on social media and hoping to start to sell someday soon. However, despite me making more effort, my views are just dropping, and I can’t seem to reach out to people how I want. Your video was a little encouraging in terms of that I have to keep going and not give up, so thank you ❤
This video was amazing. You give such good advice and inspired me to really go all in with my personal projects I have been planning for a while. You are so transparent and your genuineness really shines through. I wish you the best and pray you keep doing what your doing. We need your content and art in this world.
Astonishing video, thank you for making this. I just recently graduated high school and my on my way to college with no clue on what to do with my life. Ever since I was 6 I was always doing art up until 8th grade then I took massive break after being burnt out. Recently before I graduated that love came back for it but I have no clue what to do it. My family is pushing me towards a office job direction but I feel there is something more fulfilling for me.
Thank you so much for your inspiration, drive, and ideas. I have been painting for many years without success. Painting is my life, and if I could make a living from it, I would be so happy because art is all I know.
I'm a professional artist. I've been creating art since I was 2 I also dance. I am creating a UA-cam to showcase my creative abilities. I never had to go to school to draw or dance I was self taught by observing my mother who also does art and choreography. I never really wanted to do much else so I'm going to take it seriously I just turned 21 in November. Wish me luck! 🙏🏽 But yes you are never too young or too old to start and u definitely don't need a class.
Ngl, i subbed to your channel within the first minute. I'm in that position right now. Being a creative artist and wanting to share it with the world. Thank you. The universe sent this to me. I am grateful and accept this message to chase my dreams!!! ❤
Great video, its probably the most authentic video I've found on UA-cam to be honest!! I wanted to know what's your experience with copyright and how did you get around this challenge when painting famous people
Karina, you have developed so many skills through your experience. As an HR professional I would hire you immediately and you could fit in many positions in a company. Well done! Keep sharing, keep being yourself, keep your feet on the ground or your fingers in the paint rather and do not let success destroy your treasure. Merci from France
God really knows how to put the right things in your path. I am shifting my mindset to make money out of doing what I love which is creating. I have definitely seen your art on social media
Thank you so much for all your great insights and for bringing your beautiful art to the world. Two questions, if you wana share: 1. what was your job before you started your art business? Did you have your own place at that time? 2. How did you manage all the orders when you started making 10k a month? Congrats on your great progress!!
Your art class experience and family expectations so real ❤😂 It took me forever to realize it was actually killing my creativity. But I love learning ?! UA-cam has the tea 😩 even your beginner art makes me say wow ✨ you have a gift

To be honest, you explained it better than 99.9% of business gurus - very simple and straight to the point. I love the video! I'm now genuinely rethinking some parts of my process (from both business and managerial perspectives). Thank you for great tips!
That means so much thank you!
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!!
@@karinaalexandria222 Hei... where are you from ?
Respect, I have a difficult time drawing things for people bcuz the art project is not in me. So I really don't tell people I'm an artist. I get you
True that! Love your follow up questions too!
yes fanart definitely has traction but i would never be able to do it if i wasn’t a fan myself
Thank you
I am grateful I made you feel comfortable enough to say this! We are on this journey together
I’m a lot older than you… And I’ve had businesses before, both successful and unsuccessful ventures… I’ve been so hesitant to start a venture again, ……. but I just found your story so inspiring and so honest and straightforward that I am very inspired . Thank you so much and best of luck to you❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing 🤍
Life is hard enough, especially when your not doing what you really love. I remember I made the mistake of taking a very safe route, and it has bled alot of sorrow into my life. When your working a job you hate, sketching during work hours as a source of stress relief, just to get through the day, it means I should have done something else with my life. So learn from me, believe in yourself and just do it! Take the leap! Thanks Karina you inspired me to take my art more seriously.
100%
so true
HONEY, YOURE SAVING MY ARTISTIC LIFE… literally in the beginning stages of my art career…
as someone trying to find success in nails, u should sell "tickets" for ppl who want to use a print for a tattoo or nail design, it's like a permission slip to have someone recreate your art on them in a personal way
As a person pursuing a nail business this was a golden nugget of information. Thank you!
Your video came up to me about 5 times and I said "okay, okay, let's watch this video" and wow, I NEEDED to hear all of this! Thank youuuuuu
5 times 🤒
hello there :) i am a young female artist in Iran and just wanted to say your video reached me and gave me a lot of hope for the future :) i been selling my art out in the streets for 2 years now . i put my stuff in my back pack and take my camping desk and chair to somewhere crowded and just sit and paint . people love it and they buy my stuff and talk about it to their friends and family .i'm not sure if this is legal in your country but this is so easy and fun to do and it's great for marketing and growing your account and selling . it's also really good for knowing what do people want and need :) this is good for any young artist who needs money for class and supplies .
I love this!!
What's your insta id, i want to look at your arts 🎨✍💕😊
Excellent
Thank you🙏
Do it every day and don't look back. You will get there inch by inch. You will heal yourself and your father
I had the same experience with my family, and they did not cheer me on until after success, I had to find peace in the fact of knowing that they truly just want the best for me they want me to be stable. Forgive them if you can, keep your heart open with your art and you will go far 🤍
Your story strikes my heart- keep going, stay consistent and it’s ok to have dry periods and art block too
As an artist, what made me whole, was when I started painting what I always wanted to paint, but was too busy making everything for everybody else or chasing a dollar.
I knew my people would find me!!!! 🤍
@@LessonsThroughTheLense sooo so proud you took the first step!! we are in alignment friend- my latest video is all about turning the camera on
With all due respect, I see your thumbnail and was like ahhh another pretty face.
This is a sign because I was thinking about making a video about commissions!!
I also don't do any commissions but my mother got me into doing paintings on ostrich eggs and people who have seen them through her keep asking me to make more, way beyond easter.. I made several hundred 💲and I feel really different ;DD
Haven't received a commission in 2 years
I've struggled with doubt and fear nobody would like my art.
Again, thank you so much!
this video is absolutely phenomenal, may your basket never become empty.
Thank you so much for watching!
[I follow you]
You can do ANYTHING and you deserve it all!!!
Love this!!!!❤❤❤❤
I really appreciate you for commenting this🩷
Thank you so much for posting this. I love when artists support each other and like you said, I appreciate that you're so real.
babe your story is so relatable and you are ME.
As somone who is 17 going into college next year who is struggling with body anatomy, shapes, hair, and much more this video really helped me get back on my feet to keep practicing more
This lady is very inspirational. Starting from sketches to full blown portraits. God giving gift used at its finest! I'm so very happy for this young lady and her determination to be great! She make me want to evolve as a person and pursue my creativity more. God bless you.
Your video is my sign. Thank you for putting it out there and giving me my spark back!
This made my day! I’m so grateful 🫶🏼
wow... Thank you so much for sharing this, i've been in a very weird spot trying to figure out how to get my art and blacksmithing business going. as well as continue my journey as a musician, I've spent years listening to all the business gurus and you have all the best advice from them, with a touch of reality and the grounded mindset of being 100% true to you. Thank you so much this has really tied together years of advice and ideas and inspired me to charge ahead with grace for myself and others as i begin to learn all these new skills and continue my dive into art of many forms. Blessings to you from the mountains of Colorado.
Pausing the video to say that I’m 11 minutes in and so freaking inspired right now! Then to hear you say, you’re about to share everything 🤯 thank you! Going to keep watching now ✨

I’m happy for your successful business. Thank you for never giving up. It’s very difficult to create a business. Your 24/7 motivation will always pay off. Never give up. You have a beautiful talent, voice and knowledge. Thank you for helping me understand how a business ain’t easy is hard work.🎉
people love realism and they love celebrities, that seems to be the big factor
she’s bragging and rubbing her wealth in everyone face
people love alot of things. just create what you love
@@tarabooartarmy3654 yeah, this is another tips that wont work for most. she is selling illegal art in mass scale.
@@tarabooartarmy3654 nah she's fine, it's just like fanart. Its her own ver/rendition. She's not copy pasting a celeb's merch. Plus millions artist done it so there's no issue there

Art is what saved my life and I love it
This popped up on my feed at the perfect time. I finished my first fashion show a few months ago ot was awesome! But took a break from designing to rest but it went longer than I intended. So I started asking myself "to what level do I want to pursue a fashion and grow my brand?"
And I hit a similar point that you did where I decided I wanted more, but the person that I currently am needed to evolve.
So I got this book called Mindset and it talks about the "Growth" and "fixed" mindsets. And your video it lines up exactly with what I read in the book. About how mindset changes everything.
So thanks for sharing this!! I feel more confident and going for it all the way.

All I wanted as a kid was a teacher to look at me and say "wow, you have talent". Instead I got "That's not good enough" 😂
there is no talent in art, only skills.. and skill can be learned and practiced ❤
Most art teachers aren't very good.
I could never accept that I'm an artist, I draw, paint, write songs, piano and guitar, learned on my own. 🙏
Wow, you wanted to provide value and you PROVIDED.
That’s ALL I want to do!
Thank you for your video! I am slowly figuring this stuff out to become a working artist. It's always been my dream, and I just had to stop communicating with the haters and go for it. I kept wearing their fears like a coat of armor when they weren't even mine! Appreciate your time! D

Thank you. God bless.
Thank you for sharing this with me, it's amazing that you relate so deeply to what I shared! And FACTS on the frequency part

Thank you for taking your art seriously, now you’re inspiring more souls to do the same. ❤
Thanks girl. Ive been asking myself this for years. The same thing happened to me with AP Art in 7th grade amagad❤
I made studio art my minor in college bc the teachers on the fine arts board were hateful! Instead of teaching you how to make a business from you art- they only critique the art itself- nothing more.
And yes, the unsolicited advice from family seemingly from "good intentions" but was actually planting seeds of doubt 😢
Then came the jealous abusive bf's who i guess are mad i do what i want and not what they say, have always been independent and a creator.
Ngl, i subbed to your channel within the first minute. I'm in that position right now. Being a creative artist and wanting to share it with the world. Thank you. The universe sent this to me. I am grateful and accept this message to chase my dreams!!! ❤
Thank you for being here🫶🏼
Great video, its probably the most authentic video I've found on UA-cam to be honest!!
I really appreciate this comment!! Thank you my friend ❤️ from the USA
God really knows how to put the right things in your path. I am shifting my mindset to make money out of doing what I love which is creating. I have definitely seen your art on social media
So glad I stumbled on this video. It was inspiring!
So glad I found this of you, I have a friend that's been trying to get me to think in this fashion. Thanks again!!!
Thank you so much for all your great insights and for bringing your beautiful art to the world. Two questions, if you wana share: 1. what was your job before you started your art business? Did you have your own place at that time? 2. How did you manage all the orders when you started making 10k a month? Congrats on your great progress!!
i go all in for a year so far on selling art, you spitting facts, all facts
Your art class experience and family expectations so real ❤😂 It took me forever to realize it was actually killing my creativity. But I love learning ?! UA-cam has the tea 😩 even your beginner art makes me say wow ✨ you have a gift
