I just got my tristar pressure cooker XL and I absolutely love it I've made three totally different things in it and they just come out fantastic congratulations
Thankyou Lynn for a great presentation. This is the first electric pressure cooker that I've seen that you can pressure can. Last week I used a regular pressure cooker for the first time...two different times, and the food came out so delicious...still not comfortable with using one...but the electric PC looks like, for me, would be way easier. Thanks again!
Linda CeeTee You're welcome! I am so glad that you like the video. I have used both kinds and I find the electric one much easier. It is really safe, as well. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great weekend. ~Lynn
Lynn what a great video! !thanks for the step by step demo. It was great. I love pot roast now all I need is a pressure cooker. Lol have a great weekend
frann t Thank you, Frann! I am so happy that you enjoyed the presentation. Thanks so much for watching. I hope you are having a great weekend, as well. ~Lynn
Your presentation of the pot roast is really lovely. My mom bought me a breville electric pressure cooker that doubles as a slow cooker. It's considerably smaller in capacity than the XL, that u have. I wish mine was larger, but it does suit the three of us at home. I'm really happy that you did a demonstration video for pressure pot roast. I don't have many recipes for my appliance. I never would of put the veggies under the meat, but now I see it makes sense. The potatoes didn't seem mushy. We don't have beef cuts called chuck here. I think that's a boneless blade roast. I'll have to google it. I hope you demonstrate more recipes using your XL. I hope your weekend is grand! ~ Julia
Julia Dickson Thank you so much, Julia! I really am glad that you enjoyed the presentation. I am going to try to get some more videos up using the pressure cooker. Thanks so much for watching. I hope you are having a great weekend, as well. ~Lynn
Lynn, what a delicious and complete meal you have done! Your pressure cooker works great. This would be so fantastic for me and my big family. I love making dinners or lunches in my pressure cooker because it´s so easy to put together and cook quickly. But the mine one is a little bit old. Have a great sunday, Love, Patricia.
Patricia G.G. Thank you, Patricia! I agree that it is so easy to prepare meals in the pressure cooker, especially if you have to fix dinner in a hurry. Thanks so much for watching. I hope you are having a great weekend. Love, Lynn
I've had my Power Presser Cooker XL for about a year I cook with it all the time. I should have gotten one years ago. I'm going to try this Pot Roast this weekend. I've never cooked beef in it before. I usually cook chicken in it.
This is an awesome video. Thanks so much.I have used a slow cooker for years and currently I don't have one but after seeing this video I am going to buy a pressure cooker.
Hi Lady Lynn. I love my electric pressure cookers. I have two sizes. Pot Roast is one of my all time favorite meals. I make mine in my pressure cooker too. So tender and I can brown my meat and cook it all in one pot in less that 45 minutes. Everyone should have one of these in their kitchen. :)
Lila Arce They are so great! So glad that you love yours as well. They do make food so tender and it is so fast. I agree, everyone should have one. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great evening. ~Lynn
+Cookingwith Rick (Cooking with Rick) Thanks Rick! It is so convenient and fast to use the pressure cooker. I appreciate you watching. Have a great day. ~Lynn

Looks great Lynn,,,,,,,Iam scared of pressure cookers,,,,,,,,,I must find another method of cooking this,Thank you for sharing, you have me cooking coconut jasmine rice all the time,
stanley jones Stanley, this pressure cooker is so safe to use. They have made so many improvements in the cookers. You can't open this one if it is pressurized. I am sure this would be great in the oven or crock pot. I am so glad that you like the coconut jasmine rice. Thanks so much for letting me know. Have a great Sunday. ~Lynn
lynnsrecipes Thank you so much for taking the time to respond back, iam a big fan of your cooking show, along with 5 others,I will try to find the one you use and do research on the product,Thank you Lynn
I have the 8qt model and have tried to cook a pot roast just like this. We end up having to cook it for almost an hour to get it semi tender. I don't know what we are doing wrong.
+Jessica Panfile I got them from Amazon. They are Kuhn Rikon. Here is a link - Link to Kuhn Rikon Vase Grinder - astore.amazon.com/lynsrec-20/detail/B005Y82MR2 They come in other colors, as well. Hope this helps. ~Lynn
Nice video, however, I would have liked it if you would actually show the finished product. Cut into the meat and show it's tender, cut into the potatoes to show they are done. This shows you cooking it, but doesn't show that it actually worked. Also, would it make it more tender if you let the steam release slowly as opposed to immediately after it goes off? Thanks.
I can always tell when people never watch a video. I clearly state in all of my videos that if you click on Show More, the entire recipe with the ingredients, how much you need and the directions are always typed out. If you would have taken the time to actually watch the video, you would have heard this and that I have a website that is also in that same box with a link.

;-)
what quart size is your pressure cooker? 6, 8 or 10
+Brandon Gautier 6 quart
Looks good, but without you cutting or tearing the meat, we can't tell.
I wanted to see if it was tender.
Cut it.
Did it cook on meat
I used the chicken button.
I can’t find the actual recipe for how much liquid is used
If you click on the button and open up underneath the video, the entire recipe with amounts, ingredients and directions will pop up.
Nice video, however, I would have liked it if you would actually show the finished product. Cut into the meat and show it's tender, cut into the potatoes to show they are done.
